Very true. I'm actually fairly content RIGHT NOW, because I don't feel ready to be in any sort of relationship. However I will be in the near future.

True. You're probably right. I've been more active in the past, but this year I've just sort of been in a bad way and getting my life back on track. I'm sure that's understandable. But yeah, I'm being mindful to not fucken put pussy on a pedestal or anything, I've been trying to put myself in a mindset that "yeah I'm fine by myself and I don't need a girl, I'll just talk to you cuz you're there", you know?

How would one achieve this? To be honest, I haven't met a ton of girls that I've found to be my type. I socialize, I go to parties, but I don't consider myself a party animal and want a girl who's SLIGHTLY more cerebral. Also, I'm not interested in a hook up, I don't think I could properly get it up for a girl I'm not even interested in

I'm guess I'm not in the greatest of places right now, I'm not in a situation where I can meet people I have a lot in common with, but I will in a few months, if not sooner. I guess I am afraid of failure of looking like an idiot, though. You make a good point when it comes to not taking control of my life. I'm a staunch advocate of taking one's own life by the reigns, carpe diem, etc, but it just gets hard sometimes, ya know>?
