Being overly negative and afraid of everything. Being afraid of being vulnerable with others and wearing a mask at all times. I’m working on it but it’s a process.

That’s pretty much what it is at the most basic level. High risk, considerably lower payoff. The risk feels greater for women who are lukewarm about having kids or are child free and that just leans into whole environment factor even more.

I do desire one strongly I’m just patient because I know what I want is very particular and that I have to be patient for the amazing things in life.

I’m not as hardcore as you but I am quick to cut off a guy if he’s being ambiguous about whether he wants a serious relationship with me or not.

I think this is something that a lot of men (and plenty of women to be fair) can’t seem to wrap their heads around. My sex drive is mostly reactive and situational. If I don’t feel that I’m very much desired it can be almost unnoticeable. It also helps that I don’t care for having kids so I’m in no rush to get into a crappy relationship that won’t make me happy anyway. That’s just the reality of it all. There’s nothing pushing me to change that.

Having giant boobs. Women who have them are given the world by damn near every guy around them. Pretty much the same as guys who are over 6 feet.

Idk if it’s because of dating apps, the overall culture I live in or some other factor I’m missing, but it’s more difficult for women looking for a serious relationship in general. A lot of my family friends end up marrying someone from their home country so I think there’s just something about the overall culture here, but I could be mistaken. I get the impression that dating apps have ruined things for those who want to date seriously as a whole though. I would answer yes personally, but it re…

I don’t necessarily think this is true, I just think the majority of young people are way too picky and have the wrong priorities when they’re young adults and only grow out of it once they reach their mid 20s and start to realize that the approach they were going for before isn’t necessarily a good one. Most people are paired off once they reach 30 so that premise doesn’t end up being correct, regardless if you think it should.

That doesn’t last forever in my experience they usually hint at it or out themselves in some way. At any rate it’s possible to date someone with a dealbreaker trait on accident but that relationship will always be on a thin thread.

Yeah that argument is nonsense. Men are a threat to women as a whole. History shows us this and so does the present time. The same can’t be said about race. If a woman is uncertain if a guy will be passive or violent with her it makes sense to be cautious around him.

The difference between a loveless marriage and one that couldn’t be called that by any stretch of the imagination is like night and day. This is why arranged marriages are hated so much.

$$$$100,000,000,000,000 Of course being financially comfortable is important but what would really move the needle for me, if anything, is the circumstances being right for it altogether. I’d have to be married already and happy and comfortable in that state, I’d have to be certain that the environment my kids would be raised and taught in would be satisfactory and not cause them a lot of problems growing up, and I’d have to be sure I don’t have any sort of untreated health concerns that would p…

Most guys understand they won’t ever actually know a woman’s past, so they select based around traits they can see and believe are corollary. This is accurate and it’s hilariously faulty. I knew a girl from middle school who was promiscuous but her husband would never believe it. With something like this it’s difficult to guess fully accurately without knowing someone. Plenty of women are good actors and know how to hide the worst parts about themselves while others are seen as promiscuous becau…

They can seem difficult when there isn’t good communication and conflict management. Going through tough times together can either make or break a relationship. You have to really understand the other person and work to make things better for them as well as yourself.

A lot of guys change after marriage. They go from behaving in a way that their wife really liked to being complacent and not really pulling their weight anymore. In that situation it would feel like you didn’t even marry the same person anymore.

My dad outright told me that he trusts my ability to pick the man that best for me. And besides I don’t think he wants to be responsible for picking on my behalf anyway. Too much for pressure to pick right and not completely fuck up the life of the person you’re making decisions on behalf of. He can give advice in the meantime and his blessings when the time comes.

Constant self improvement is pretty good but that’s just standard. It doesn’t guarantee you’ll have a ton of women interested. That’s not realistic on average.

Most guys are never going to get in a relationship with this mindset and plenty are guaranteed to miss as amazing relationship opportunity if they apply this to their life. Lots of women need time to get comfortable with any particular guy even if she felt a spark with him. That’s just the safest way to go about things. Life would turn into a nightmare really quick if you just trusted a guy quickly just because you felt a spark. There are other ways to know if a woman likes you than how quickly …

Well the most important thing to consider is that for the first few years of their life you’ll both have to watch over them all the time while still having enough money to care for the child properly. If this isn’t realistic then who do you plan to pass you’re kid off to while at work? Your mom or other female family members? Would they agree to this? The second thing is keeping the kid healthy. I’m waiting for marriage myself so that part isn’t the issue. But I’d be a little wary of a past like that and what it would mean for the future for a couples reasons. 1) STDs 2) having women from the past show up again 3) I’d worry if this indicates a particular mindset about sex such as not taking cheating very seriously. I want someone who’s just as committed as I am. 4) this one is a minor concern just because it’s not as likely: I don’t really want a relationship with a father. I’m not real…

‘Fatima’ is having a lot of sex with her husband, those 5 kids weren’t born through immaculate conception. Her sex life is just kept well hidden from the public. ‘Becky’ might be having more or less sex, but not necessarily with a husband or even just one man. Women back then had to behave in a way their husband likes so they don’t risk being throw into poverty. It still happens in places where women are reliant on their husbands/boyfriends for survival and grew up in poverty. But when women are able to support themselves and supplement their own wants and needs, they can behave in a way that’s more in tune with their actual desire.

It is and was definitely seen as weird. It’s very rare to meet a woman around my age who is in a relationship with a guy more than 5 years older, hell even 5 years older is a stretch. Most relationships I know are within 3 years of one another. EDIT: I am 27

I have seen countless very attractive men rejected by women less attractive than them She’s probably not confident he wants something other than a hookup or STR with her or he said so out loud leaving no doubt. She knows what she wants and won’t settle for less just because the guy is hot/above her league. Asking out a women below your league doesn’t guarantee things will go the way you want it to.

Celebrities and the ultra rich live by different rules than you and I. Kim Kardashian is a great example of this. She has been married multiple times and has her ex husband begging her to reunite despite what everybody knows about her. It goes against everything discussed here. I’m not sure we can infer things about the general population from the life of those who are always in the public lens.

That’s a good question. Maybe it’s the messaging we got growing up. When my cousin and I were kids and she would talk about a crush she had her mom would tell us that being single is great and that’s we’re lucky to have that choice. My mom also drove it further by saying that sex isn’t as big of a deal as we may be told it is. Of course there’s still that nature desire especially when you really love someone, but the messaging that “it’s better to remain single than to end up one of the miserabl…

More people would be willing to have kids if they could own a house and get by on a single income. It’s difficult to deny that stability in the form of real estate ownership + being able to afford having someone stay home with the kids would increase the number of people having kids. This would be way more effective than government subsidies.

What you say has some truth to it but the problem is that it’s never going to change if the behavior is being enabled. Some difficult decisions are going to have to be made if we truly want to see that change in our lifetimes and not just get worse like we’re seeing a pattern of lately. A lot of women truly need better priorities if we want to see change in generational abuse and poverty. This is a very difficult discussion just because I know there’s some factors that make these choices unfeasi…

The amount of women with little to no empathy for people in situations they had 0 control of is nearly the same rate as men, they just hide it better. Women seem to have more empathy for people who made bad decisions and have to face the consequences of their actions which seems to me like a way to cover their own asses so they don’t have to take responsibility for their actions.

This is really expensive and also means you’ll have to do 100% of the work in raising the kid into a healthy and well rounded adult. If you can pull it off good for you but it’s clearly much better for the average person to just wait until they find a good person to marry which incurs a multitude of other benefits besides having someone to help raise a family.

Women are taught how to behave around men from their father, brothers, uncles and other men who are close to them and look out for their best interest. However I will say that what is actually put into practice is based on experience instead of words. If the advice comes across as out of touch, then it doesn’t go through.

If a company doesn’t vet potential employees very well when hiring or offer enough pay for the role they get overrun by shitty people, women included. The good/skilled people mostly find another job once the toxicity of the workplace gets exposed enough and so you end up with more of the same thing. It’s a pretty common workplace experience unfortunately and just makes the time spent at work more stressful for the few who don’t want to get involved.

My desire for romance is a natural/instinctual desire for me and has not been watered down by my bad experiences with others in the slightest. Having friends and family who had similar values and had amazing relationships helped to show that not all hope is lost. For principally romantic women how did you manage to protect your values on sex and romance in the face of hook up culture? I simply pick my battles carefully. She does if she wants to marry a quality man. Though to that end, doing intense workouts 4 days a week helps way more than simply wearing makeup.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/22 07:11 PM

Might be that in many cases. From a lot of women I know though their husbands outright request them to wear less makeup and stuff like that except to parties. It could also be because of the stress of raising kids. I think there’s multiple factors at play here.

This is great advice in general. It’s pretty sad that as time goes on people communicate even less. Communication is so important and can prevent many problems from blowing up. Unfortunately this seems to be lost on many.

One thing that seems to be missed here is that most women are married by the time they are 30. It makes sense for women to put in way less effort into their appearance at that point unless it’s expected of her to continue to do so by her husband, friends or her job. Otherwise there isn’t really a reason to continue to put in as much time and money into that. Some here note that the age where appearance sometimes drops off is actually 26-28 which again makes sense since by that point it’s expecte…

Being nice is not enticing enough on its own for casual sex since the woman won’t be seeing the guy for long anyway. It works better for LTRs since if you’re going to spend your life with someone you want them to be pleasant to be around. For something casual though you need to make yourself more attractive and find the right demographic since many women are not ok with casual sex regardless of the guy.

That is absolutely painful when it happens but realistically these kinds of things can happen to anyone in marriage or a relationship. The reverse would be supporting your wife and then finding out she was cheating the whole time and divorces you when finances gets tough. And this was someone everyone agreed was a good person. Both sides would be painful.

I think a lot of women would be fine with dating the average guy if he was actually a better person than the hotter guy. However in my experience there isn’t really a correlation between appearance and personality. I’ve had hot people (both men and women) take me under their wing when I was a total mess and unattractive people who really wanted to punch down badly. If there’s any correlation I noticed it’s more based on money than appearance. Rich guys tend to be the ones who pushed my boundarie…

The person who will give you the best advice is a person of your same gender, who is similar to you, who has the outcomes you want WITH the type of person/people you're interested in. Exactly! I pay attention to what women in long marriages are doing and sometimes I take advice from long time married men since they’d have the perspective that would help me the most.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 06:05 PM

No they don’t! Men only really give advice which helps with hookups not with finding a LTR. That’s not helpful in the slightest since women don’t need help to hookup.

What’s the incentive for that though? Like imagine you had the options of taking the unpaid short-term internship or the job that pays well, takes care of you and wants to make things work for life or however long it takes you to retire. Dating is typically difficult for those who are unattractive, have any visible handicaps or mental health issues and for those with bad social skills. Did the difficulty increase over time? It’s hard to say since people got married during their childhood to early 20s out of necessity not too long ago. Modern dating issues stem from a reliance on technology and also freedom to associate with whoever you feel. With more freedom comes more responsibility or something to that effect.

I’d say the only way to really know is if she’s way out of your league. A lot of stuff mentioned here often has good reasons behind it. She seems uncertain about dating you could just mean she’s anxious about dating because of all the negative experiences she’s read about or even had herself. She doesn’t answer could mean she didn’t hear what you’re saying at all and has bad hearing in one or both ears, etc. These kinds of things aren’t reliable metrics to know. Can confirm, my grandma in her 90s worked both before and after she got married until retirement. This isn’t in the U.S. though. Being a housewife was pretty much exclusively for the upper class women. You’re not wrong but there are some differences regardless. For myself there would have to be physical attraction and outstanding behavior towards me for there to be any visceral desire. I’m not sure any amount of “you can be as sexual as you want” from society will change that. Appearance alone won’t do the trick.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/22 05:08 AM

The message is: I want you. In the most primal way. No romance, no courting, no stolen looks or bashful smiles, mutual blushing followed by a respectable confession of attraction. It’s a gross public display of male horniness and entitlement to the female sex. That’s the best way I’ve seen it put! It almost feels insulting.

I’ve been on both sides and I’d rather be invisible for the most part. It’s exhausting dealing with all that and it’s not even worth it. You deal with more negative experience than positive. The only exception would be my future husband but I know it’s rare for one guy to be attracted to you and no other guys. Would be ideal though.

Improve what you think is causing a lack of interest from those you like and see if that helps. If nothing works start asking advice from people your age who are in a successful LTR. Idk what else. A lot of advice online is good but a lot of it also bs that’ll just make people like you even less. A lot of it is also location dependent. There’s a lot of complexity to human mating choices because we are a very unique species in general. Different groups of people have differing patterns for sometimes the same reasoning under a different angle. I would say monogamy benefits women just as much as it benefits men. You could look at other species that are very similar to one another where they also have different mating strategies. African wild dogs and the domestic dogs we know best are a great example. No I’ve never seen it and I’ve been friends and gotten to know many women who’ve never had any experience. My experience is the same as well, nobody has shamed me for it. That one is probably location dependent.

I’m living in the place I was born and raised, where I got my college education and am currently working in. My location was not always unaffordable (at least not within a 30 mile radius) but became that way because of public policy and the pandemic overall. Don’t get me wrong I’ve known what you’re saying I will most likely be the only choice I’ll have in the future once I decide to move out my parents’ home because of the short sighted government policies. However the overall point here is tha…

Pretty much this. Young people where I live make around 30k individually mostly while the cost of a 2 bed 1 bath house is around 400k and up within a 30 mile radius. Rent here is also unsustainable so it’s better to buy a house. But imagine trying to maintain a mortgage after having kids in your 20s or early 30s and the mom quits her job or works only PT with an insane CoL on a basic income like this? I’m so thankful I never had a desire to have kids. Those feelings would be so difficult to mana…

It’s difficult to say whether it’s decreasing or if there’s just less honesty about it because of the fear of offending someone. I wouldn’t doubt it being rooted in biology. That would explain our primary form of reproductive strategy, social monogamy. It would only make it harder to get into a healthy relationship if there was a lack of honesty about it and if someone were to misjudge a women for say health issues or possibly the way she behaves. It could cause some complications in both relati…

I’m still single but once I get to that point I’d be thankful neither of us has to deal with the bullshit in dating again.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/22 08:43 PM

That depends on how it manifests. I don’t think trying to avoid being eaten alive is a bad thing, hell I do the same. The problem is when it leads to treating the women they’re in a relationship with badly. If the relationship feels like it’s more of a headache than it’s worth it’ll probably lead to a breakup. I, like many, would like my relationship to be an escape from how terrible the world is not another reminder of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/22 04:47 AM

Right! It’s nice to see men’s honest opinions and views since you don’t really hear it in real life. Also one of the interesting things about this sub is seeing the changing trends in interpersonal relationships. There are different complaints about dating now than there was even just before the pandemic started. The world is changing and it’s good to be caught up on it all instead of feeling behind on everything all the time.

I completely butchered what I was trying to say because of a lack of sleep this entire week. I meant something along the lines of I don’t want to placed as a later option whereas the guy doesn’t want to commit keeping his options open where he tries to close yours. Not that I care what he’s doing outside of a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/22 01:52 AM
2

I understand that. That's why I don't really bother with trying to change anyone and just keep company with those whose values match my own. I don't want to write anyone off but I also understand that the core of what you're saying is true. A guy has to be willing and actively work on changing on his own if he wants to see a different set of results than what life has been giving him. He makes the call on whether that's worth it or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/22 01:32 AM

I’m not sure I agree with this. Men get the benefits of having a dual income and someone who cares about them and will take care of them if they ever find themselves unable to care for themselves. There’s a reason married men live longer than their counterparts.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/22 07:55 PM

They are free to do so just as I’m free to reconsider them as an option and move on. I have no interest in burdening a man with lifelong monogamy and would rather date a man who actively wants that just as much as I do.

I’m not interested in justifying anything. They can defend themselves just fine. Regardless let’s say that was true. If a guy doesn’t have many options wouldn’t it be best for him to do what he knows is best to get the lady he likes? If being a gentleman works to get you the first date it’ll most likely work down the line as well. And if you have other options and find yourself unable to love any other as much as one particular lady? What I said still applies. Go with what works and has stood th…

I can confirm this checks out. Pretty much all of my dates have been pretty old fashioned except me driving myself when I don’t know the guy well but that’s just safety. I can’t relate to the OP saying that courtship is dead because I established what I will accept from the start and throughout the process. If a guy tried to drag me into a modern dating style he always failed.

I agree I’m just not entirely sure why unwanted pregnancies keep happening but from the stories I’ve heard it seems to be the unreliability of birth control. I’m not going to ask them why the guy wasn’t contributing to the prevention though. OK, typing that out I realize how lax my supervision was as a teenager. Not an uncommon story unfortunately.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/22 07:44 PM
3

Birth control is still pretty difficult to get. To get fully covered bc you need to visit your doctor often and to get a more long term method like an implant requires seeing an obgyn which is not fully covered. That’s assuming you had health insurance to begin with which a lot of young people don’t.

They have to “work for it” because looks isn’t the only important factor when looking for a LTR. At that point you want someone with similar morals, goals and who’s a gentleman towards you. Personally I don’t care if a guy is more attractive than I am. It doesn’t change what I’m looking for and I’m not reducing my expectations for him. Marrying someone more attractive than I am isn’t that important to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/22 06:39 PM

It would be tough for sure but if I promise my life for someone and I don’t have a good reason for leaving like cheating or abuse I’m staying and finding someone who can best care for them.

I mean yeah it makes sense you’d go full survival mode when your livelihood is at risk and that’s not an ideal situation for anyone involved. The part about men’s professions is interesting though. Something to think about when dating men who seem responsible at a first glance.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/22 07:55 PM

The only thing all the men I dated have in common is that they’re gentlemen and have good morals. Any guy who was a jerk got absolutely nowhere. However if you’re unattractive it likely won’t matter either way. I will say that much at least.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/22 06:45 PM

I guess in some backgrounds that’s a genuine worry but where I live most women are saying they don’t want kids until way later in life if at all and they’re focusing on their education and jobs. Plus these days my state is outright begging women to have kids and offering to pay them for it so I can’t say this worry applies much here.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/22 08:05 PM
5

I think I understand what the second statement is saying but it’s still wrong to say that boys are easier to raise even if somehow every single parent of one around you says so. It says more about the mindset of your background than reality. I know one woman who said this and she hit her daughter when said anything wrong while she thought it was wrong to hit her son even though he was worse about the defiance. So I’m not taking that seriously.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/22 07:58 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/22 07:23 PM

Probably in countries like China and India the ratio would be much worse, like 10 men for every woman. But I feel like the average person in western countries would use this tech to have the opposite sex of what they had the first time.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/22 07:00 PM

Guys usually offer that information with any prompt on my part so I don’t really need to. But I do judge them on it. I don’t really want a guy who’s casual about who they get intimate with, I want a guy with a similar mindset who sees it as something private and serious.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/22 07:30 PM
3

That would be weird. I just make sure the date is in a public place with a good amount of people around us and tell a close contact or 2 where I’m going and why for safety and then text them before driving back home. Having other people there that you know are watching everything you do and say would just ruin everything.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/22 07:44 PM

Well our morals would have to align in general. That doesn’t necessarily mean being on the same political spectrum but we would have to agree on what’s right and wrong for the most part.

In what world? Where I live so many women start working at 16 which is the minimum age they can start working (I’m sure it would be sooner if it was allowed). Just my opinion but if someone wants to focus on how marriage benefits “me” instead of focusing on how it benefits “us”…then maybe they shouldn’t be marrying. That’s a good way to put it and it defeats the purpose of getting married if you’re only ever focusing on yourself.

Both people benefit when their relationship is good. Having a combined income means you can get a better house in a better area or in locations like mine, means you actually can buy a house at all. Preference. Pregnancy sucks and they don’t want to have kids out of wedlock would be my top guesses. But if joining in on the decadence is making you miserable, why continue? You have the option of finding someone who matches your values and navigating this difficult world together. The “if you can’t beat them join them” approach doesn’t work here because the point of this decline we’re seeing in the modern day is to create and manage a race to the bottom. They have a woman in their life who they really love and feel is a good person from experience. Marriage is the ultimate way to show her that he loves her, wants to build a life with her and wants exclusive sexual access between the both of them. If there’s no person like that for you then yeah obviously marriage is pointless. But otherwise it brings happiness and a feeling of stability to both sides.

True but the unfortunate thing is you’re never going to convince women to stop as long as appearances are put first above all else. Observe what the average guys who are in a successful relationship in your location are doing and try something like that. Otherwise I’d say just court women in your league until one is receptive and continue to improve upon whatever you can. Something I don’t see a lot of people advising is to just be transparent about what you want and don’t want out of a relationship in general. Mate guarding and how a lot of men gauge women’s celibacy to be more successful with it I guess. That was not something I was aware of. A lot of things make more sense now. I haven’t dated much and the little dating I did was always with guys I saw as serious so I didn’t get much opportunity to see how the different sexual dynamics played out. It gave me a different perspective on things.

Now I don’t know how common this is but if I were to ever get divorced or have my future husband die early I don’t think I’d really want to get into a relationship again. I just want to get married once. I don’t want kids so that probably makes a difference. I just want to experience true love once in my life. Again I’m not certain if that’s common enough among women (and uncommon enough among men) to really make that big of a difference.

One of the few older women in my family who didn’t get into an arranged marriage always told us young girls to stay single. She was in one of the better marriages I’ve seen too. It does make me a little nervous especially with everything I know about other people in their 20s.

Compatibility for sure. I want someone who’s sweet, wanting to get married, honest and can take care of themselves. I’ve managed to see guys like this but it’s difficult to find and takes a while. I think it’s a common difficulty for women to find this from what I’ve heard and seen. In fact it seems like even men have difficulty with finding a serious relationship from what men told me during my time in online dating. That was really interesting. I guess serious women and men have a tough time f…

I don’t want a casual relationship not now not ever so B of course. Being serious and all the traits that go with it is the most important thing anyway.

It sounds like she just wants to date seriously to me and wants to make sure you’re on the same page first. I think the honest and direct approach would be fine since she’s expressed interest in you. If she hadn’t, then it’d probably be best to mention what you want in casual conversations with other coworkers in the same room or something.

I always wondered this too. Would the findings on the fertility cliff be the same if a woman in her 40s had kids with a guy in his 20s? Or would that impact the results?

Ah yeah I totally get it. It’s frustrating when people deny the reality others live. It’s likely because they lack a close bond with women who are very different in how conventionally attractive they are considered by society and thus never really hear their truth. Wish this thread would’ve remain so women could continue to see the variety in perspectives that we need in our lives.

I think both are true actually. There’s a lot of women who will fall over themselves to become friends with pretty women and there’s women who get seething jealousy because of the idea that the pretty women they see could date and marry their crush(es) and there’s women that do neither. Each woman is different and has a different approach to life and other women.

Pfft not even that! There’s so much shit out there pushing the “salt and pepper” look as sexy. Ew no.

I’d break it off right away and find someone who’s relationship goals align more with mine. There absolutely no goddamn way I’m having kids outside of marriage. I’m even against having kids in the beginning of marriage personally.

I had incredibly tangled long hair as a kid too. If they say that it’s because it’s true. I’d say that to hairdressers too or “I’m used to it”. I definitely would’ve benefited from a major haircut and good conditioner.

Rats caused the plague back then. It only takes one ignored problem to ruin everyone's lives, add to that enough problems and well, you have millions of corpses piling up.

Give off long term vibes by being honest, openly communicating and don't talk to or about other girls while trying to get a girl who you think you could get serious with. If a guy gives fuckboi vibes, that's just another reason for serious girls to avoid him, even if he's attractive.

Most accurate reaction to this shit. Not on the outside, but definitely on the inside. Fortunately it's pretty rare in my experience.

Maybe so but in a different way. Women who are used to be treated like they're unattractive might be avoidant or highly untrusting of guys who are giving off the impression they want a relationship, out of fear of being used and left once the guy gets what he wants out of you. Guys don't exactly keep it a secret that they use women they don't actually like, whether it be for sex, money, attention and certain benefits in life, and then later fully commit to a woman they do actually like a lot, so…

As someone who's gone for years with untreated glutten intolerance, this analogy really helps make a point for me better than anything. Regardless bad pizza can give you stomach problems and worse.

What does that "success" entail though? Does it get you into a lifelong marriage with mutual love, respect, compassion and understanding? Because my definition of "successful" sure as hell isn't a fling or a short term relationship or a marriage where the guy almost never pulls his weight.

Thank you! I kind of hate that marriage is tied with weddings. I've always wanted to just elope even before I knew of the word. Everybody treated me and other women who feel the same like we're weird or boring for it though. Better to spend the money on long term happiness anyway. Like a nice home!

Yeah, because of the massive age difference between them that was pretty a given unless a health issue came up for him. However he lived well passed the average age for men while she didn't even make it to 80 which is normal for healthy, well adjusted women. It's pretty offputting.

Why would you even go out with someone you see as a love interest without making that clear beforehand? Is she supposed to read your mind and know you're not just being friendly?

Yes actually I have seen tradition for men change. Back then it was common for men to either drop out of school to work full time so they could begin to make money to support a wife and kids, or wait until after completing college and starting their career to get married for the same reason. Tradition had different methods depending on class and other factors. I haven't been seeing any pressure on men to do either of those to support a family. If anything both men and women are putting off start…

To that last part, why would a woman not lose attraction if a guy did something like that? She dates a guy that's a certain way, falls in love with him and then one day he suddenly flips. It's basically a bait and switch. That's completely unrealistic and not to mention that she might be smart enough to consider that he was being manipulative and want out for that reason alone. If you're 'eating shit' from your nice attitude it's probably because you come across as disingenuous. Maybe you're onl…

Exactly, so no, not every woman can get "1,000 dicks a day". You'd have to actually spend a considerable amount of money and time on your looks to do that. If you're a low income woman and are always working, too bad.

Cover your acne/dark area under your eyes/bruises, do your hair so it isn't nappy, shave/wax/whatever method for getting rid of unacceptable body hair, wear trendy clothing and not boring ones, shed off all your stomach fat, cover up your cellulite/make sure it's not noticed, etc. Come on, it's not that hard. Women have plenty of rules to get accepted, too.
