| – | Feminist claim male circumcision hurts womenWell said, you are probably right. The two are not mutually exclusive though. I think as mens issues become more understood, there will be this kind of backlash from feminists that say they are in charge of fixing mens issues as well. I've already seen article claiming MRA's are high-jacking the circumcision movement. But you are definitely right about the double whammy of "Not only are men oppressive, but there is nothing they can do about it." It's pretty fucked. | /r/MensRights | 07/04/16 02:05 AM |
| – | Feminist claim male circumcision hurts womenI was going to write pretty much this same thing. Thanks for saving me the time. Whats funny is that it would be amazing if this anti-circumcision movement by feminist (however backwards) actually worked. What I really think is that this is a pathetic attempt to prove that men don't need men and boys rights activism because "feminism is working on that too!!" Maybe I'm reading too into it.. | /r/MensRights | 07/04/16 01:19 AM |

| 1 | 31 year old female teacher has sex with two 17 year old male students. Video convicts her of one of the offenses. She's suing the victim for filming. NO SHAME.How do you know it was consensual? That's one of the problems with being in a position of authority over someone. They may reluctantly agree to something they don't want to do because they are pressured. Plus the fact that they were underage means by definition that it was molestation. Whats the line for how young you can sleep with someone as long as they consent? I know 17 is OK for you, but is 16? How about 15? Where's the line for you? Or as long as they consent is it OK to sleep with any ag… | /r/MensRights | 22/01/16 07:17 PM |
| – | 31 year old female teacher has sex with two 17 year old male students. Video convicts her of one of the offenses. She's suing the victim for filming. NO SHAME.You know I wouldn't necessarily call it rape either, but I would call it molestation. I'm sure you disagree for your own reasons, but we do live in a society that has these rules for the betterment of everyone. Now if we can agree it was molestation, how is getting evidence of a crime being perpetrated against you is wrong. Do you think recording someone as they rob you wrong? Are all security cameras evil? But I guess since you think it's OK to molest minors, no matter the effect it has on them… | /r/MensRights | 22/01/16 06:53 PM |

| 2 | Feminist mom, what should I doAs many of the others here have suggested, just keep your head down and don't argue with her. It's easy to get emotional with your parents/kids so just don't give in to the fighting. It's going to be difficult for you for the next couple years because you will want to call out her BS, but don't do it! Study hard, get some scholarships, get into a a dorm or an apartment with friends when you turn 18. Don't worry about her following you when you move out, once you are out of her house it will be a… | /r/MensRights | 18/01/16 03:50 PM |

| 9 | Heated Debate between Dr. Janice Fiamengo and Feminists about Men's RightsDr Fiamengo did a great job arguing her points. I particularly liked how she kept making reference to the academic definition of feminism. The hardest part watching this, was listening to the questions being asked. Except for one girl, the questioners just seemed disrespectful. | /r/MensRights | 23/10/15 05:15 PM |
| – | My wife says she's afraid to walk to her car.Well I was only half serious, but ya, working on getting therapy.. We agreed a couple months ago that we're not equipped to handle our relationship problems ourselves. It's just that you gotta make time, to make time, to get therapy. And that's tough... So for now, reddit must listen to my griefs! | /r/MensRights | 01/08/15 05:22 AM |

| – | My wife says she's afraid to walk to her car.I know I'm not going to "win" It's that I feel like her fear is textbook feminist propaganda. But that's why I'm so blown away! I married a super smart woman! So why the fuck is she being duped by the obvious propaganda?! | /r/MensRights | 01/08/15 04:53 AM |

| – | My wife says she's afraid to walk to her car.Apparently, she is afraid to walk to her car at 5, after work. That's what I don't understand. | 2 | CEO of Reddit: Ellen Pao says she "weeds out" candidates who don’t embrace her priority of building a gender-balanced and multiracial team. She has also has removed salary negotiations from the hiring process because studies show "women don’t fare as well as men."Gotcha, that makes the most sense. I wonder if the board (I assume there's a reddit executive board) will try to replace her asap once her contract is up, becuase of all the negative publicity she is causing. As far as the speed of hiring the next person goes, there should just be a vote thread for reddits next CEO (only half serious). | /r/MensRights | 06/04/15 08:48 PM |
| – | CEO of Reddit: Ellen Pao says she "weeds out" candidates who don’t embrace her priority of building a gender-balanced and multiracial team. She has also has removed salary negotiations from the hiring process because studies show "women don’t fare as well as men."Soo why is she still Reddits CEO? I feel like she needs to pass the torch.. | 1 | Association with the MRMI'm really hoping for the ally. Getting something like this started is hard and someone willing to get hardcore for me could be super useful (totally don't mean that sexually). | /r/MensRights | 28/01/15 02:40 AM |
| – | Association with the MRMThis is my plan. I like to think I am a super calm person. No recorder mostly because I don't have one. | /r/MensRights | 28/01/15 02:36 AM |
| 1 | Association with the MRMRight, shes just the club coordinator and overall club adviser. We will have another school employee that will actually be there for meetings and helping with issues. I like the idea of incorporating the school name. Thanks. | /r/MensRights | 27/01/15 06:17 PM |

| 1 | Association with the MRMVery good points thank you. I feel exactly the same. I don't want something like a name to derail what I'm actually trying to accomplish. On the other hand I am a supporter of the world wide MRM and would like to do a small part to educate others about the larger movement. | /r/MensRights | 27/01/15 06:14 PM |
| 1 | Association with the MRMWell I don't want to say I'm not a super-hero badass. That said this forum has been especially helpful in a lot of areas already and I really appreciate it. I just made my AVFM account so I will be trying to get more involved with them as well. Thanks for the support and the evidence that this isn't going to be easy. Just like JFK i'm not doing this because it's going to be easy. I'm doing it because it's going to be hard. | /r/MensRights | 27/01/15 06:11 PM |
| 1 | Association with the MRMFair point, thanks. | /r/MensRights | 27/01/15 06:07 PM |
| – | Association with the MRMIt's not that I want a lot of emotion surrounding the club, I just want the right emotions. I just feel like words such as "rights" and "advocacy" are empowering words. Plus I'm just having trouble coming up with anything better. | /r/MensRights | 27/01/15 06:06 PM |
| 1 | Association with the MRMThis is from the email I got this morning. "I do however, as we discussed, think it is necessary to think of a new name of the group if you are open to the idea. I am worried that all of your hard work will be misconstrued and this group will be seen as an oppressive “Men’s Rights Association” She went on to say it is okay if I decide to keep the name though. | /r/MensRights | 27/01/15 06:03 PM |
| – | Association with the MRMI like the BRA. I think in the school heading we would be the Boys Rights association club though. So BRAC.. | /r/MensRights | 27/01/15 06:01 PM |
| 1 | Association with the MRMNot sure if your serious.. I suppose club does trigger memories of cavemen hitting women on the head for sex.. For me I think club has to be part of it since it's a school sanctioned club.. Kinda like the science club, gaming club, etc.. | /r/MensRights | 27/01/15 06:00 PM |
| 1 | Association with the MRMYa. That's my thinking too. | /r/MensRights | 27/01/15 05:58 PM |
| 1 | Association with the MRMI like these, thanks. I agree that justice has a real prisony vibe. I like Liberty for Men and Boys the best I think. | /r/MensRights | 27/01/15 01:23 AM |
| – | Association with the MRMThanks! Great suggestions! Someone else just suggested The Rights for all Men Club and I really like it. You're better at naming then you know. I'm taking notes of what is suggested here and will get input from my other club members too. | /r/MensRights | 27/01/15 01:08 AM |
| 1 | Association with the MRMhmm. Will work on it.. | /r/MensRights | 27/01/15 01:04 AM |
| 2 | Association with the MRMThe Rym Club dosent sound bad. Kinda Jazzy! I like The Rights for all Men Club. I'm going to note that one down. | /r/MensRights | 27/01/15 01:02 AM |
| – | Association with the MRMNo we don't. I have gotten the suggestion a few times now so I will be looking into it. | /r/MensRights | 27/01/15 01:01 AM |
| – | Association with the MRMAwesome. Thanks for the words of encouragement. I've made it crystal clear that the club is open to all people. I usually just start off with that so I don't have to be asked the inevitable "So are you guys just like, against women?" One thing I am trying to dispel is that a mens rights club will just be a group of white, cis, straight men, getting to gather to compare fedoras. | /r/MensRights | 27/01/15 12:55 AM |
| – | Association with the MRMSo something like this? | /r/MensRights | 27/01/15 12:40 AM |
| – | Association with the MRMI'm trying to read up on the different forms of fallacies from my logic class a few years ago. I want to be like "BAM" false dilemma bitch! OR "That shits a straw man!" Thanks for the point in the directions of those two gentlemen. Sage Gerard's name keeps coming up so I will have to find a way to talk to him or one of his associates. I hadn't heard of AVFMS so thanks you very much for that info as well. I will definitely look into these guys. | /r/MensRights | 27/01/15 12:37 AM |
| 1 | I'm starting my colleges first Men and Boys Rights Advocacy ClubGood idea about the statistics. I think I am going to do that. I will certainly keep posting on hear as I progress. Thanks for your advice. | /r/MensRights | 27/01/15 12:31 AM |
| – | Association with the MRMI really like the Men and Boys Advocacy Club. It's just that "rights" really is such a powerful word. It invokes so many emotions. So too does fuck off, so both really solid ideas! Thank you. | /r/MensRights | 27/01/15 12:28 AM |
| – | Association with the MRMYa I don't think that now is the time to inform her I'm also very anti-feminist. Thanks for the more serious suggestions. I think the Boys advocacy club is the most disarming or the bunch. I mean how can you be against Boys advocates?! I also like the gender discussion and support group for men. That might be one I really might consider if I'm not allowed my MBRA title. I really like "advocacy" being in the title though. I think it really gives focus to the idea that this group will also be conc… | /r/MensRights | 27/01/15 12:23 AM |
| – | Association with the MRMThat's a great idea at least naming it something more egalitarian. My concern is that people will show up to the group expecting to discuss men and women's issues, so I want to make the distinction. These will be mens issues discussions. Even talking with the adviser, as I mentioned I want to make circumcision an topic for one of my meetings she mentioned that it would be a great opportunity to include female circumcision and woman's issues into the discussion.. And this is where I need the advi… | /r/MensRights | 27/01/15 12:14 AM |
| – | Association with the MRMShe's the student life club adviser.. So I only have the one choice. It's so silly. I cringed every time she said patriarchy today... But I didn't get into this because it would be easy.. | /r/MensRights | 27/01/15 12:04 AM |
| 5 | Association with the MRMGreat questions. I should have put a brief guide to what I want to talk about in the club. We will be discussing issues such as gender roles, suicide rates, homeless rates, economic disparities, family issues, etc. Here is a link to my club introduction on reddit. I want the meetings so be 75% education and 25% activism. By the 25% activism I mean I want to use the club to have some kind of event or activity this semester to aid in the better treatment of Men and Boys. I'm not sure what that eve… | /r/MensRights | 26/01/15 11:30 PM |
| 3 | Association with the MRMGreat points. You just made me realize I really need to get a video camera. I think youre right and there is going to be some you tube gold there (besides protecting my club). Thanks for the support. | /r/MensRights | 26/01/15 11:26 PM |
| – | Association with the MRMThere's the logo I've been needing!! Thanks. I'm treading very lightly with my school. But once we're started.. Oh how I cant wait for someone to challenge the needs for a men's rights movement. | /r/MensRights | 26/01/15 11:23 PM |
| 1 | Association with the MRMFair enough. Thanks. | /r/MensRights | 26/01/15 11:19 PM |

| – | I'm starting my colleges first Men and Boys Rights Advocacy ClubI'm allowed to post 15 8-11 flyers around the school. I'm actually having a little trouble making one. here's what I have so far. I'm more of a philosophy guy and not an arts guy. | /r/MensRights | 26/01/15 11:01 PM |
| 1 | I'm starting my colleges first Men and Boys Rights Advocacy ClubThanks! I will definitely keep all of you informed since you have been the most supportive group for me so far! I plan to have my first meeting in the next couple weeks after I go through schools officer training that is required to start the club. In those first meetings the club will decide what kind of things we will discuss this semester but also some kind of project we can accomplish this semester. Any ideas on a good group activism project would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for the… | /r/MensRights | 22/01/15 05:04 PM |
| 1 | I'm starting my colleges first Men and Boys Rights Advocacy ClubThanks! I hadn't heard of them till now. When I get home tonight I will explore their website. It's still difficult for me to e-mail these groups because I feel like an amateur in this movement. But I am getting there with your guys support (just made my first post on AVFM)! Thanks for the idea. | /r/MensRights | 22/01/15 04:59 PM |
| 1 | I'm starting my colleges first Men and Boys Rights Advocacy ClubI totally agree, and thank you for the support! I live in a pretty progressive town, so I'm hoping people will not be against us just because we stand for male rights. The few women's rights activists I've talked to and told about how I would like to discuss issues such as male circumcision seem to be behind us. I really liked and agree with your posted comment. Really well put! -Grandad | /r/MensRights | 22/01/15 04:55 PM |
| 2 | I'm starting my colleges first Men and Boys Rights Advocacy ClubI totally agree. I am making a huge push to include racial, economic, and gender issues. I think this will help discourage the idea that men's rights advocates are just white, cis, rich, men. I think the gender issues can help with both gay and trans men. I think the prison rates can include men of color. Also I plan to discuss adoption for both gay and single men. In this way I hope to cover a lot of my bases. Thanks for the support! | /r/MensRights | 22/01/15 04:44 PM |
| – | I'm starting my colleges first Men and Boys Rights Advocacy ClubThank you very much for the link! This is exactly the kind of help I am looking for from this community. I am basically saving the best information I find about these subjects so that when the topics come up in our meetings I will be able to have solid evidence to show my members as opposed to editorials and opinion pieces. I'm a little hesitant to share what college my club will be at only because I have seen what the internet can do to those they don't agree with.. But we are a Colorado Commun… | /r/MensRights | 22/01/15 04:39 PM |

| 6 | I'm starting my colleges first Men and Boys Rights Advocacy ClubThank you. I will probably have to talk about what to and what not to say regarding the group in our first couple meetings. The last thing I want is one of my members saying some dumb shit and giving ammunition to anti-men's rights groups. Thanks for the advice. | /r/MensRights | 20/01/15 10:13 PM |
| – | I'm starting my colleges first Men and Boys Rights Advocacy ClubThanks for the advice. To be honest I figured that activist like Paul Elam were a little out of my league. I'm about to make a similar post that I made here on a voice for men and see where that gets me. I hadn't heard about Zen Men so thank you for that info and great advice. | /r/MensRights | 20/01/15 10:11 PM |
| – | I'm starting my colleges first Men and Boys Rights Advocacy ClubI appreciate your response. Personally I am not a feminist but wouldn't shy away from feminist attending my meetings. Hopefully they would learn something about men's issues besides the misconceptions found online. The reason I include trans sexual individuals in my topics is because men that see themselves as women need our support, and women that see themselves as men need our support. I think gender identification is very much a men's issue today. I appreciate that there are feminist groups o… | /r/MensRights | 20/01/15 10:08 PM |
