Thank you for being so blunt. This comment would piss a lot of people off but it’s the truth, we have no interest in men who can’t step up and put in the effort he needs to do to win us over. They think they can do the bare minimum and get a girlfriend because it works for women with low standards.

Men are not afraid to kick an unconventionally pretty girl (I refuse to say ugly) to the curb even if she meets all of his other standards. We should not settle for lawn gnomes!!! 🗣 Saying “He doesn’t have to be hot or rich “ is the same as “I’m so desperate for a man to love me that I’m willing to marry someone who disgusts me and can’t provide for our family financially.”

So accurate about Hispanic families. I have a cousin who was pushed by her mom to be perfect so she married her ~high school sweetheart~ at 18 and then had a kid. She only posts brag-worthy stuff on Instagram and deletes any comments from non-family or friends. Another cousin had two kids by an ex who was verbally and physically abusing her. Self-worth is just not taught in Hispanic families and women are told to cater to men.

XOJane used to be my favorite article site, women of all ages could anonymously share their experiences with others and it gave them a place to be heard and feel safe. Then it became one of the most toxic sites I’ve ever seen. The articles were all trolls or bad fiction writers and wannabe poets or people writing something controversial just to get a rise out of readers. And the comment section. The toxicity was so bad I would feel a pit in my stomach when reading some of them because I felt so …

Yes!!! This is happening to me, too. I’m not there completely, but seeing another woman with a nice body or dressed nice doesn’t affect me like it used to. I can still walk away and feel good about me. Our opinions of ourselves are based off male standards and we all need to unlearn that 🤢 compliments from men don’t make me feel ~special~ like they used to.

If I ever move in with a man, I am only paying my own bills and buying what I want FOR ME. If his name is on it, he can pay it himself like he was doing before he met me. I am not touching that rent/mortgage, car bill, water, electric, internet, credit card bills, nothing. Most men make more than me in the area I live in, if anything he should be helping me out. I’ve been called a gold digger, meanwhile men are sitting on a gold mine begging for my f-n silver!! They are the true gold diggers and…

On my first real dinner date the guy brought his iPad. He was a manager and said he needed it for work because he was on call, so I’m like that’s fine as long as he doesn’t use it for more than a minute I guess. He was talking to other girls on it through Facebook messenger. I know this because he had it laying on the table with the brightness all the way up and was giggling at his conversations the whole time.

We all appreciate you, everything that would typically be volunteer work deserves to be praised like any kind of office job would. It’s not fair that idiots like this make 70k-100k a year playing around in an office while people who actually contribute to the wellbeing of society struggle to pay bills. Ugh.

70k is a pretty good living wage? What’s stopping him from taking on side projects, investments, outdoor hobbies? Lol he probably blows all his money on pc gaming systems and video games. I also have a hard time believing OP makes that much and doesn’t have enough vacation time to go on a trip? I just feel like if you make a good living you can also afford therapy if you’re feeling depressed or have low energy. But instead he’d rather whine about his life and secretly envy his roommate.

This is the same energy as guys who post pics on their dating profile with cheerleaders at a game or girls working at hooters. Like is that supposed to make us jealous? Lol what kind of manipulation tactic is that?

No way would I allow that. I have lived in dumps with slobs my entire life and now I am so overly-protective of my home. I keep a weapon by my bed at night but not like that. If an intruder comes in quietly and the boyfriend is sleeping, the intruder can take the bat and beat both of them to a pulp. So not only is her boyfriend a slob, he’s a DUMB slob.

Ugh, I’ve seen so many men on dating sites saying “I’m not paying for sex/ not interested in your only fans” then says he wants something casual. Lol they want sex for free.

Such a good point, and it’s like they’re trying to overshadow women’s issues by piping up saying “We get hurt, too!” and pretending to care about other men’s mental illnesses, when it’s really about oppressing us.

Because women have it soooo easy 😤 mEn Just FlOck tO tHeM 😤 they have large social groups, the woman species is a social creature. 🤬 I have seen these ridiculous statements on multiple subreddits. I have suffered from social anxiety my entire life, along with a small family and like 1 friend. I never blamed men for my loneliness like they blame us for their mental problems. Why are we expected to ~heal~ them while receiving absolutely nothing in return? Men made me feel even more lonely when I w…

Why do men use their mental illness as an excuse to be complete a-holes? I’ve struggled with all of those things growing up and I never acted like this. He just seems like a narcissist who hates himself so much he can’t stand other people, either. Love how he instantly hated her when he saw she was bigger than her pictures. Then treated her like an ass on the entire car ride because she wasn’t attractive enough to deserve respect in his eyes. It’s okay to say you just hate women, buddy :) Also, …

That was a full-blown pedophile. I’m sorry you had to go through that, none of us deserved to be groomed by creepy older men online when we were younger, yet it happened to so many of us! When I was 16, I was talking to a 38 yr old man online. He knew I was 16. I was severely depressed, had social anxiety, and was also struggling financially. He would ask for nudes everyday and have phone sex with me, he never asked about my life without making it sexual. He told me he would give me money if we …

What happened to empowering music for women being mainstream? 😞 TLC’s “No Scrubs” would be scrutinized today and probably flop, everyone would’ve called them gold diggers. It was normal for women to want a man who not only treats her well, but support her. Now they’re praised for washing a dirty cup

One guy I was talking to last year randomly texted me in the middle of the day about all of his childhood trauma, mentioning a lot of stuff that I went through myself and never think about now and it was really triggering. He was sending paragraph after paragraph. I was polite about it but I was like umm? We weren’t talking about anything related to that before. He ghosted me the next day lmao that’s stuff you talk about well into a relationship. I learned my lesson about not being a therapist t…

When I used to go over guys’ homes as a date, I always went in the bathroom just to be nosey. One bathroom still haunts me. A guy I’d been talking to for a week invited me over for weed and wings (I don’t know why I would even agree- that’s just so embarrassing now). He told me he was going to shower then he’d be ready. I go over and his nails were dirty and his shirt smelled of sweat covered with polo body spray. I went to his bathroom and 🤢 there was women’s long hair all over the back of his …

He’s grooming her. OP needs to find a way for her and her daughter to get out immediately. Also, he’s definitely been doing this stuff before she was 18, but maybe now he’s getting bolder and the mom noticed.

That thread is nothing but incels. The language they use is disgusting. “Past her prime” “Wall is around the corner” “Healthy fertile partner” “By the time they start planning kids, she might as well be 30.” I do wonder if these people have ever met a woman other than their mother. I just...

When you think about it, there are so many women who would rather be in a miserable relationship than be alone, so I think this video could be relatable to that audience. Holding out for the right one is hard in the beginning if you’re used to jumping into relationship after relationship. At least the message is still somewhat better!

“Man hater” “Conform” and “what you DEEM to be what you deserve” So what he’s asking is if you hate the way most men treat women, and think all men should change themselves for the better to treat women the way we actually deserve to be treated. They really do not understand this sub lol just get your life together and treat us like you actually want us!!!

Not to mention, when you gift someone money towards their down payment, you have to write a letter to the lender stating you gifted them x amount of money and don’t expect it paid back, otherwise the lender would see your contribution (the gift) as another loan if you don’t specifically state that you don’t need the money paid back and could impact the lending process. That’s how it is in the US anyway. So buying him a house is exactly what she did. I’m not sure about the legalities of adding so…

I looked at the comments on your post, and that one long comment at the bottom saying he only dated ugly girls until he started making money. Lol the hypocrisy. The absolute hypocrisy. He’s admitting he wanted a HVW. An attractive woman who has a lot going for her. THEY ALL WANT THAT!!! They can aim to date a “perfect” girl but we have to settle for less or be deemed as man-haters? Bye. Real men understand what we want. Those incels are mad at us because they can’t have us.

I was just about to post this, did anyone look at all the comments? One of them said something along the lines of “The problem with women like this is they only stay with you if you move ahead in life” well yeah. Lol. Look, I’ve had my fair share of shitty apartments. My mom was a single parent supporting me with a retail job (this was 1999, how times have changed), and she dated a man who rode to work on a bike and worked at a fast food restaurant. She had ME! A daughter!! We were getting by at…

That 2nd one is so true, and that’s exactly how they manipulate young women into sleeping with them if they’re emotionally vulnerable or don’t know any better yet. It happened to me before 🤷🏻‍♀️ it was a learning experience at the very least.
