1	Girl (24 F) here - I checked the info. and I don’t think I’m breaking any rules by posting? do the tax breaks go to them or do they go to their dependents? You do realize that tax forms are the same for men and women right? The reason that men pay more taxes is because 1) they make more money and 2) they have less dependents since most single parents are single moms. If you want women to pay more taxes, there are few solutions. 1) encourage women to go for higher paying careers 2) encourage/incentivize women to not go part-time when they have a baby. 1	Double Standards It's completely unfair that the government can demand child support payments without the father agreeing to the decision to have a child. The issue is that these laws were established solely to protect children. They weren't designed with malice against men, just a blind spot with regard to them, in my opinion.
