I wouldn't say dating is fun considering most men are scrotes...it is fun with a HVM, and most men aren't HVM.

Honestly I feel like society doesn’t encourage close female friendships past 30 or so… we are expected to focus on family instead. I think if lifelong close female friendships were the norm loneliness would be less of an issue

I don’t think any HVM would break up with someone because they refused to give him oral sex. That seems like LV scrotey behavior.

You shouldn’t feel like you have to want to give oral sex. There is nothing wrong with you not wanting to give it. It’s not that you haven’t found the right person yet. You just might not want to give oral, AND THAT’S OKAY!

Okay you edited your post and took out the “i hate” part…but still, why do you want me to downvote your own post?

I don’t get it. Why did you post something you hate and not put it in the title?

Yes I just can’t get over the fact that this guy wasn’t even a boyfriend. He asked her out initially and she said no. He continued to message her EVERY DAY for 6 months and she replies to him every day??? But her long time friend she replies to once a week? It enrages me, honestly. It’s just shocking to me because she and I are both very liberal and we would talk about feminism, racism, and politics all the time. But I guess she only likes the libfem version of feminism, where men still come fir…

Thank you. I always felt like I was being too needy by wanting her to reply to me within a couple of days. I would search online for ‘why isn’t my friend texting me back’ and articles would say “she’s probably just busy, some people are bad at texting, etc” and so I thought I was just being a clingy friend. I definitely felt like my self-esteem went down. She would visit her friends in NYC every other month, but when she was here in town visiting family, she would say she was too busy to see me.…

Her character was originally written without a specific gender in mind! Shows you how far men have to go to write a nuanced female character

Jesus christ. What more proof do you need that men get off to violence against women?

I also felt pretty repulsed by sex in porn and couldn’t understand why my friends would watch it. I still go back and forth between if I am actually asexual or if society’s idea of sex is just too disgusting and violent.

Yes exactly! And men who insist that we go 50/50 never care about women anyway. It’s not like they are advocates trying to protect the cause.

Sure yes my point was more about the expectations that we put on ourselves to prove we are good feminists. We criticize ourselves endlessly for what we are doing wrong or what we could do better, but it should be men bearing that load.

Honestly even rich American celebrities like Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian have been caught wearing fake designer bags. I really couldn’t care less if Jia did it. I think men just want an excuse to put her down.

That’s super interesting! I wondered why scientists initially thought that testosterone lead to aggression. I think sexism tends to sway scientists into interpreting results in a certain way (the wrong way lol)

Honestly there have been abuse rumors following Asap Rocky for YEARS AND YEARS. I would get the hell out of that relationship if I was Rihanna. I worry for her.

I would say between 10pm and 10am. In the morning men will get morning wood and then beg for nudes. Any messages that are too early or too late in the day are a no-go for me.

I’m also vegan and I hear you! I think I read somewhere that 80% of vegans are female. It’s the same type of men that make fun of woman who also shun vegans. Men are so obsessed with their macho meat eating habits. It’s disgusting. There’s definitely a connection between seeing women as lesser and seeing animals as lesser.

So besides FemaleDatingStrategy and askFDS, I think some good subs are: DaenerysWinsTheThrone - Great critiques on the sexism of the ending of Game of Thrones. Daenerys wasn’t a ‘mad queen’ she was just a victim of bad writing by an all male writers team. armiehammerreceipts - Not a lighthearted sub. If you want to understand the details of Armie Hammer’s assaults on several women without a scrote interrupting you, this is a good one. Also delves into other creeps like Jared Leto and Henry Cavil…

I wanted to include a few in my post but unfortunately FDS doesn’t allow links to other subreddits, sorry. Otherwise I would give you a full list!

Yes that’s so true. I’m usually hesitant to ask questions on those types of subreddits because the answers are so rude even when they aren’t sexual. I have to preface my question with a whole few paragraphs just to get some reasonable answers. Otherwise it’s just men putting me down. One time I asked a question on a coding subreddit and the top response was “Do you know how to use a computer?” like the blatant rudeness is so rampant on those subs. And they always assume I must be male, as if a w…

I agree! It takes such a toll on my mental health to see all the sexism on reddit. I just end up feeling so angry and drained. I only want to read things that boost my self-esteem and make me feel more confident. I don’t need to see a debate over whether or not a celebrity is hot or if a victim of sexual assault should be believed. I already know it’s just going to be a scrote playground and I want no part in it.

Yeah I wondered that with KStew (since she didn't see another man after Rob) but I feel like Cara isn't the type to hide that, you know?

Yeah I remember she said Harvey Weinstein called her and said she needed to start pretending to be straight and she didn't listen

A lot of women still see Leonardo DiCaprio as Jack from Titanic. I don't think it's realistic to think that most women would turn him down, unfortunately. It's a pickme culture and age gaps are unfortunately becoming more and more acceptable. He still finds some new 20 year old to date every year. Also the assistant thing is not uncommon for male celebrities. They don't have the balls to actually ask a woman out so they send their assistant instead.

A couple months ago she gave a house tour for Architectural Digest and said the bathroom was "His and hers or hers and hers depending on her mood" so I think she is bisexual.

I think this week's episode ironically ALIENATED a lot of us, instead of making more of us feel included. Lilith, Reux, and Savannah should consider the fact that they might actually be PUSHING AWAY current FDS subscribers. I felt uncomfortable during many parts of the podcast and had to stop listening.

I don't see NF types as less "strategic" or future-oriented than other types. I think NF types tend to ponder social issues more often, and tend to enjoy psychology. So dissecting our culture and the habits of men and women is appealing to us.

The women were unfortunately mostly teens. He preyed on the main accuser (who goes by the name of Effie) starting when she was 19. She worked at a dance club and posted pole dance videos on her Instagram. He followed her on Instagram and she messaged him saying thank you for the follow and that she was a huge fan. She didn't expect a response but to her surprise he replied soon after. Effie has said most of the other "kittens" (as he called them🤮) were teens and this is how he recruited a lot of…

The thing is, the evolution argument doesn't hold up. I've looked into the whole "young=fertile" thing that men push on us and actually, the evolutionary reason men tend to be attracted to young women is because we are a MONOGAMOUS species. The idea is that the young male invests time and builds a bond with a young female (OF THE SAME AGE) and they stay together for life. We as a species begin to build a LIFELONG RELATIONSHIP with our partners starting when we are young. So anytime a man talks a…

Limerence is so hard to get over. And I feel like our culture encourages it for women. Obsessing over a guy is seen as romantic, not unhealthy.

I truly believe in using FDS's boundary rules in every aspect of your life. I use it for friends, family, relationships, and work. Don't let Pickmes drain you of your energy, don't let a toxic family member bring you down, don't let a LVM treat you like crap, and don't let an employer guilt you into overworking yourself. FDS is really just about setting boundaries that preserve your happiness.

Holy crap. Isn't it so scary that sex is basically just turning into abuse? Out of all the sex trends that are out there, like tantric sex, crazy positions sex, crazy places sex, this was the trend that won out. The one where women are beat up, tied, gagged, and choked. If people really cared about exploring new ideas in sex then these other sex trends would be commonplace too. But nope. It's just the violent sex that gets the hype.

I just learned this one: "You can feel alone in a marriage too." I'm going to try to remember it whenever I feel bad about being single

Wow I'm going to remind myself of that quote whenever I feel bad about not being in a relationship. "You can feel alone in marriage too you know" We don't talk about that enough here on FDS. You can feel just as alone single as you can in a relationship.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
