The asking and giving concepts are hard for me to understand - at least on a practical level. If I want company for dinner, I cook. If she doesnt reciprocate, Ill suggest she cooks dinner. Another example is women expecting the man to always pay. If she doesnt have the wherewithal to offer, I'll let her know that it's her turn. If I understand the premise youve described, then this shows too much investment? Mind unpacking this further?

I couldn't agree more - that'd be exhausting. The underlying theme I was trying to convey was to be naturally fun and flirty - take a jab at something as ridiculous as putting a cup on a mantle.

I think you've missed the point.

Thanks for the feedback about my profile. Since I absolutely don't want to get any bigger , I imagine I'll just have to accept that being slim and cut isn't perceived as dominant, relatively?

| This post should end there. And by there, I mean "a chick im smashing says im XYZ". She's still fucking you. Can't optimize if you don't understand intent. Certainly can't be better if you don't know how to accurately benchmark yourself. |There is. Hide everything that shows you have money or a career, show boarding/scuba/travel/boxing/cooking/etc. I will try this. Thanks. |More importantly, I hope you aren't fucking a girl you met at or through work. No. Casual conversation. The consequences …

| Yeah, the problem is that men only have a female-centric point of view. Help me understand your perspective on this and why you think that's the case? |The hard thing about cold approaches is that the conversion rate is so low (good day-gamers claim 3% approach-to-new-lay ratio) that you have to do a lot of it to get any information about what works and what doesn't. C'mon!! 3% doesn't feel like it's a good use of time. I think that I may have increasingly unrealistic expectations. I thought 3…

Thanks! This is also common. I'm wondering how to get them to expect at least a little of it, since I think it's going better my dating life overall. Any thoughts on that?

Looks like you have your answer. Consider this one of the more benign life lessons :)

Fairly common. | Women will say that when they're attracted to you. It's usually a "I put you in the beta category, but you're actually in the alpha one. Good" I don't fully understand this; mind elaborating?

I get the gist of what you're saying here and appreciate that you took the time to respond. A couple notes and clarifications: | The problem is, you think you look adventurous, but in reality, every person who wants to look adventurous will use the same stereotypical pictures as you do. What kind of pics do you think I have on there? |stereotypical guy-in-his-forties-trying-to-look-fun-and-adventurous online persona Not sure if this matters, but I'm in my mid 30s. |with some of your boxing and h…

Thanks. Without more context, it's a little difficult to give you specific advice to this situation, but I'll try. Next time you're cuddling on the couch, forget the movie. You can watch it later if you're interested. Kiss her neck when she's with you on the couch and escalate from there. If it's getting hotter, be bold and direct with your intentions. Work on the psychological aspect of getting her excited. Talk to her about what you want to do. As an aside, I don't plow through LMR. If she doe…

I came to the Red Pill because I've always felt that men's identities were being influenced heavily by a female-centric point of view. We could do nothing right. I had heard about the red pill and wanted to understand the nuances of the arguments being presented as well as the nature of dating, since clearly my perspective was skewed. To echo MattyAnon's format: Fitness - I'm happy with my physique and am slim, strong and flexible. I don't know the percentiles well enough to give you an accurate…

All good advice so far. First, was it worth it? Second, what have you learned from this experience? From there, decide where your moral code lies and stick to it. Assuming you care about this young woman's feelings, you need to decide whether or not assuaging your own guilt is more important.

Help me out with some details: your respective ages, how you met and your general approach to escalating/dropping innuendo.

Any advice for someone who's erred on the side of silly humour (it seems to work for me, except online)?

it makes me sick to do this to another man, but I do it because another guy would do it to me Two things on this: First - live by your code. If you feel like shit doing this, don't do it. It's really that simple. You can't control if some other guy would do this to you, but you certainly can control where you stick your rod. Second - you're doing him a favour. More so if he finds out.

Out of about 13 attempts, I've had 4 first dates and 3 "x doesn't work, what about y". The responses are all from women in their 30s and 40s. The no responses were mid to late 20s. My rational was that they swiped right, so unless they're complete validation whores, they're interested. Why mince words? I'm guessing this is age-specific and will default back to putting some effort into openers for younger women. Thanks guys.

Have you had much luck with the direct approach - i.e. "Let's grab a drink" - right off the cuff?

Says in her profile she's a "gym guru". She's fit too. Was wondering if it's an idea to put her through one of my intense workouts. You know, before the old man throws out his back.

Sounds like you're on point. How much talking are you doing beforehand? Eating them out? Lots of escalating beforehand? Personally, I've found that solid foreplay focusing on talking and teasing get most women off within a few minutes of penetration.

Solid answer to the life choices question. Thanks! Do you cold approach as well or strictly rely on online dating?
/r/askTRP06/02/17 11:08 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
