Could have been an interesting discussion. Both parties lost their shit immediately.

There is room to support people of all genders. Supporting men does not take anything away from supporting women, or any other genders for that matter. We want make life better and fairer for everyone at the end of the day.

When someone's argument is entirely a strawman attack its not worth getting involved.

We desperately need help for male victims of domestic violence and we should try to do what we can to help. The Amber Heard/Johnny Depp case is doing a lot to set out new legislation and change public opinion. But please please do not turn this into women hate. There is absolutely no need to conjure up imaginary scenarios of punching women. This is not helping anyone.

That's some quality victim blaming

I agree with this post. People should be taking male victims of sexual assault seriously. Making the same boring joke about it doesn't help anyone at all.

I don't know why anyone would want to watch women get abused over nothing

Who cares if you get flaked? You can just move on. It's no big deal.

Awesome. Thanks for the response that makes a lot of sense.

The time between talking to people is awkward. Either I'm sitting on my own with a beer or I'm walking around aimlessly looking for someone to talk to. These both seem A little desperate.

I watch the show quite a bit, Sandi is often a guest on there. And of all the guests on that show, I think she is the best person for the job.

It feels like they are the interviewers and we are the interviewees in many cases. Not a great analogy I know, but it's a bit more scary being in the interviewee place.

protip: drink way too so much coffee and tea. You'll end up with crazy amounts of energy. People will find you fun to be around and you can still be yourself :) (or not yourself and do this seduction nonsense instead)

Being taken advantage of is quite a big problem for "nice" guys. There is a big difference between being a nice guy, and being a guy who agrees to everything. Some of my friends don't understand this.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
