How do you get burned? I am in a similar situation with a girl who obviously digs me quite a bit but she is in my social circle loosely (she just kind of joined our group but goes off and does her own thing most times). Thanks, it's a frustrating problem that hinders my success in social interactions in general. I'm going to try the Anthony Robbins positivity challenge, it seems like a concrete thing I can do to start changing my thought patterns.

How does one become socially calibrated? I've come to realize my main problem when communicating with women and people in general is I am socially retarded. I unconsciously talk about negative things in conversations and make fun of people (I don't mean it in a mean way but it comes across that way). How do I become more socially calibrated and not go full retard in social situations?

Well basically try and befriend people who go to the parties even if it's only one person. When you get there open people as soon as you get in the door, girls or guys. Try to get someones number and befriend as many people there as you can, this will help build a social circle and the girls will come with that. Like I said no one will care that you don't drink they may even respect it honestly, be the guy there who doesn't need alcohol to have a good time.

Yeah that was a weird section for me too, but the overall message is really good and makes sense. I grew up in a house where the mom was the authority figure and my dad was passive so it definitely helped me understand how I was relating to women in the wrong way.
