It’s not that there isn’t anything to take from the post, just there is a lot of stuff in there that can have serious negative effects on a sedditor’s inner game. The only relevant points are scattered and encompass things such as looking good, researching body language, being sharp and ‘being interesting’. You don’t go into much depth on any of these but simply tell people that they need to be these qualities. And it gets much worse. I’ll start with the ‘get it vs don’t get it’ and ‘being in th…

Congratulations, you've already made a huge step by realizing that there's a problem. The good news is that you can do something about it. I've been improving my self-esteem for a year and i'm a completely different person now. I would start here. This will give you a better understanding of what's going through your head and what you can do about it. Don't be ashamed to get counselling too. It helped me tremendously and i wouldn't be here without it. This problem goes far deeper than dating ski…

Sorry OP but this was unnecessarily long, confusing and misleading. What's a guy gonna think when he reads 'I'm just kidding, it's all you.' Even if you do everything 'right' there are a million different ways that the interaction could go badly, and there's nothing you could have done differently. And what's with this 'get it/don't get it' and 'in the club/not in the club' business? It's just alpha/beta all over again and that was stupid to begin with.

Right, but the point of making mistakes is that you learn from them.

Talk to everyone until you figure it out yourself. You can't learn this stuff over the internet.

Sometimes life is gonna suck and there's nothing you can do about it. Don't be hard on yourself, because its not your fault. Just take comfort in the fact that eventually things are going to go your way and your game is going to be much better than it ever was. Take a break from game for a few days. Get some rest, start looking for another job, treat yourself to a new video game. You'll get through this don't worry.

You don't need any of that shit. Everything you need is in the sidebar. Seriously! -a satisfied seddit customer

I was in pretty much the same situation where my confidence became very high but i came off as cocky and arrogant to others. The difficulty for me was expressing that confidence in a respectful way. Confidence and arrogance are somewhat similar in that both show security in oneself. The difference between them is that a confident person accepts that they are no better than anyone else whereas an arrogant person believes they are above everyone else. So you can see how you came off as arrogant. I…

Couldn't agree more man. Also, showing that you take care of yourself gives the impression you can take care of other people too and girls really dig that. Nice post.

'I have high physical standards' So you expect attractive women to drop their standards for you?

This is great but instead I think 'What would Hank Moody do?' I'm now a registered sex offender.

You seem to think i'm a raving religious nut (i'm atheist) but i'm actually speaking from my own personal experience in the way i used to view women. If you've watched a lot of porn but never had sex before then yes you may well think that what they do in porn is appropriate. Sure I may be a moron severely lacking socials skills but i'm probably not the only one

Well said, I can relate to feeling shallow especially when having sex. I'm also doing the nofap challenge but the most i've managed so far is 5 days. Porn is damn hard to quit after doing it so regularly for so long.

Agreed. Conversation skills are fairly easy to get good at, it just requires practice, practice and more practice. The advantage is that you can practice with anyone, not just attractive girls.

The more important things i've done to improve my game are 1. improving my self-esteem using cognitive behavioral therapy 2. talking to absolutely everyone including hot girls, charity workers and even old men on the bus 3. Being someone that i would greatly respect if i met them on the street. My goal next year is to fear rejection a lot less than i do now.

2 things you can do. You can accept your body the way it is and realize you don't need to be a macho to have happy and fulfilling relationships. OR if you're serious about wanting to look better then head over to /fitness and learn about the Starting Strength program. I've been doing it for 6 months now and I've gotten so many compliments. Seriously, it's a great feeling when you're in a club or bar and a girl tells you how fucking hot your body looks (You don't even need a smart response just s…

There are so many reasons to stop watching porn. It degrades women by leading us to believe they're objects to be judged by their looks and body, not actual human beings with feelings and emotions. Watching too much porn leads to a lousy sex life too. Do you really think girls enjoy taking it up the ass and taking ejaculations to the face? You won't ever get off if you walk into the bedroom believing porn is an accurate representation of real life.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
