Age gaps are the minority for both sexes. 33% of all people have a partner whose age is within months of their own birthdate. Very few people want to date someone significantly older, whether they are male or female. Almost everyone in relationships you’ll run in to is partnered to someone that they could have attended college at the same time with.

No, it’s because younger guys are more attractive, more interesting and fun, and have more energy. Also, I would never marry an older guy. Women outlive men, and I’d rather not lose my partner earlier than I could control for naturally. If I marry a younger guy, we can expect to share the rest of our lives together. Stop being mad about most women not wanting older men. The stats don’t lie. No. I prefer Asian, Indian, and Latino men my age or younger. Awful rich of you to assume who I find attra…

Read the stats, women dating men around their own age (+- 5 years) is the majority. The 81% included women who date significantly younger men (6-10 age gap).

Of course the older guy reports satisfaction. They didn’t ask the women, and women initiate most divorces.

Young women are just as diverse in demeanor as young men lol. You’ll have the optimistic, energetic extroverts and the pessimistic, depressed, hermits and everything in-between. Young women are just as human and flawed as everyone else.

If high SMV men (in early 30s) want high SMV women (early 20s), why are 81% of men with women within 5 years of their own age or significantly older than them? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Age_disparity_in_sexual_relationships#Statistics I’m a 23 year old woman...I’m not attracted to older men. They just don’t do it for me. I have a casual thing with a 21 year old right now which is nice, but dating isn’t my focus. There’s so much more to life than settling down and having kids, which is why …

You’re not obligated to date/have sex with someone for any reason. Just make sure it’s a compassionate, logical reason.

Girls on hookup apps want sex just as much as guys on hookup apps do. There are sites that are geared for more dating (like match.com or whatever) and the people that want to date go there. The sites like tinder attract the people who don’t want anything serious!

You need to get out, NOW. You’ve already showed him that he has the power to manipulate you, and that he has succeeded for quite some time. There is no coming back from what he’s done, he will have to right his wrongs without you. You need to value the scrap of dignity you have left and leave him.

Yeah, I don’t have a problem with sex or lack of it. I just have a problem with misogyny and how rampant it is in relationships, and how men are socialized to behave certain ways regarding women. My issue is society and socialization regarding hetero relationships, not men themselves. I think I relate more with soft radical feminists.

Comparing me to incels is kind of fucking rich...I love my male friends and family members, and am able to function normally around men in society, and see them as human beings. Just in the area of romance I don’t trust them. You don’t need romance, and I’ve just opted out of it. I have a post about in, you can check it out if you’d like. I’ve been detoxing for years.

Same here. I just don’t date. I don’t trust men to love me for who I am, doubt I ever will. I made a post on this sub about my toxic mentalities and behaviors, but it’s been 6 years and I think I’m too broken and too far gone to be vulnerable with a man.

Female psychology is just psychology. When we study the entire human race, we don’t find as stark of differences in psychology as we do in fields like biology (obviously). If you want to learn about female psychology, take a human psychology class or buy a textbook. Psychological development is a lot more based on our situations and experiences anyway, so people with certain psychological tendencies will often have some kind of familial or environmental similarity rather than being the same sex.

Female, 23. I posed as a man on TRP from ages 17-19. I’m still scarred from my experiences.

I’m not Christian but exRP. I would not waste any of your time affiliating with RP-related ideology. I have many Christian friends, some are traditional and some are progressive. If you’re looking for a traditional Christian relationship and advice on that, don’t go to an internet forum where any sleazebag could be telling you what to do, read the Bible, go to church, consult other Christians in person, ask Church members, ask your mom/dad/grandparents, pray. Religion isn’t for me but I am very …

Just throw in the phenomena that since housewives were home all day, they could bang the mailman/milkman/vacuum solicitor and without paternity testing, a good portion of men raised kids that weren’t their own. Watch them clutch their pearls!

You’re right about the anti-semitism. They’re always blaming everything left of center on the Jews, the (((global elite))), or a specifically wealthy and powerful (and always Jewish) person. They even do this unironically, and spout anti-semitic conspiracy theories. They’re also incredibly racist. They view 1950s upper middle class white masculinity as the ideal, and everything else (Asian masculinity etc) is inferior or a threat (black men). I’ve seen the phrase “coal burner” used several times…

Where I grew up, dating a man more than 1 or 2 years older than you is super taboo and weird. My parents, both sets of grandparents, aunts and uncles...all within literal months of each others’ birthdays, all the exact same age as their partners. My aunt is the exception, she married a man about 3 years younger than her. I moved to a different area, and I was shocked to see couples with age gaps of 7,9, even 11 years. It’s bizarre to me. I personally would never date an older man. I’d go down in…

No one gets better looking with age. Not women, and especially not men. We all get flabby, wrinkly, sun damage. RP men just like to lie to themselves and spin some kind of revenge fantasy. Men age just as bad as women, if not worse (because women are societally pressured to take care of their looks more, they end up at least putting in effort with age, most men don’t feel this pressure.)

I think it’s because society empowers single women and women have better emotional relationships with family and female friends. That’s why single women do a lot better than single men. Women overall care a lot less about men than care about women. If no men find them attractive, some will be sad, but none of them will go shoot up a college or post online saying the government should regulate boyfriends so each woman can have one. Men use their girlfriend as an emotional outlet. Women use their …

This subreddit is for people who realized that r/theredpill and many similar spaces in the “manosphere” have brainwashed them into toxic, unfulfilling, and destructive behaviors. I’m new to posting here but have been around a long time, it seems to me mostly like an advice subreddit.

Why don’t you just stop caring about women/attracting them? I know it’s easier said than done, but I’ve never really understood the focus men put on women. I would understand if you were older and looking to settle down, but you’re only 22! Women aren’t like this towards men, and I think women have a lot easier time due to not focusing on men. Women aren’t looking for perfection, they literally just care less about the opposite sex than men do. There’s a societally phenomena that hurts men by te…

I’m not into relationships. I don’t have a man nor do I want one, especially with a man who is more dominant than I. I’m very familiar with RPW and I don’t care for what it teaches. Maybe for some folks but not for me.

Thank you. Surprisingly, I have a very nice job, awesome hobbies, and pretty decent social life (took a while but I became socially adept as I got into my 20s). Everything outside of my head is pretty healthy. Even my current interactions are, it’s the thoughts I can’t shake. Unfortunately, I have become depressed and nihilistic from the poisonous thoughts I’ve harbored, and it leaches into everything else about me. I just want to be healthy, I’m not seeking anything more than normal functioning…

I am naturally an extremely dominant and competitive person, I tend to “put people in their place” fortunately or unfortunately. This is excellent for my job, but terrible for my personal life when I was confronted by TRP’s ideology, men became the enemy I had to put in “their place”. Personally I think distancing yourself is a lot healthier. I think treating everyone like a human being before treating them like a man/woman is the way to go. Expectations should consist of mutual empathy, respect…

Careful with this. Abundance mentality teaches you to devalue other human beings. It really did to me, and fucked me up big time. Being secure within yourself is a lot better way to handle breakups and rejection. If you’re okay with being single and taking time to yourself, you won’t feel the need to “get a new one ASAP” or stalk your ex.
/r/ExRedPill04/02/19 03:23 AM

Absolutely nothing. If you want good advice for a long term relationship, ask real life people around you who look healthy and happy in theirs. That’s as best as you can get. The kind of mentality TRP teaches makes men unable to get emotionally attached to women, so basically the antithesis of a long term relationship. You can’t have that if you don’t want it in the first place.

Yeah, it’s not quite as bad. There’s a lot of “men are trash, men don’t mature, men have nothing to offer and are completely uninteresting” but that’s super mild compared to TRP’s narrative. I actually like her blog because of the online dating screenshots, they’re funny. She has a very harsh view of men, but so do I, and it’s honestly not unwarranted. Sometimes it really is hard not to hate men.

Be secure. If you’re secure in yourself (I’m obviously not) you shouldn’t have an issue with being dominant, or submissive. My harshness and exploitation of men is reactionary and that’s what makes me problematic.

It works exactly the same with the genders reversed. Manipulation, insecurity, and wanting a chase/challenge are both seen in men and women.

Confirmation bias is a bitch. I believe our minds just twist our experiences to fit whatever narrative we’re currently obsessing over.

I’ve been in therapy for 2 years and it has helped halt the behavior. The circling thoughts are what I’m having a hard time killing. I’m not interested in dating, but I’d really like to have a normal outlook. That’s what I’m doing this for, to be a normal, healthy person who has no biases against half of the population for something that isn’t even representative of them.
/r/ExRedPill03/02/19 03:54 PM

The way I felt is just TRP’s views on women, but gender swapped. Does seeing thousands of men talk about women being treated that same way make you sad, too? The cynic in me doubts it. Any statement generalizing a population like that makes me sick, and I currently disgust myself with the way my thoughts circle. I know it’s toxic, and it’s the reason I can’t trust men in a non-platonic setting. Currently, it’s been years since I’ve engaged in hurtful behavior outside my own thoughts and mistrust…

So we’re kind of in the same boat here...I know for a fact that I realize that what I “believe” about men isn’t true, and my thought patterns are reactionary and based in anger. I need to kill these thought patterns so I can act like a normal healthy person. I think all ideologies that generalize any large population are toxic. The way I think is toxic, and so is being angry at women from what TRP teaches. I think deep down, all of us realize that people are just people.

I believe I will. I know there is no rule. People are people, and that mix includes lovely and horrible and everything in between. People who will respect and listen to me, and people who won’t. My friends are awesome, but I tend to see platonic friendships in a different light. I’m trying letter writing to everyone who had hurt me, and who I’ve hurt.

Thank you. I am 100% living a revenge fantasy, against an enemy that doesn’t even really exist. It’s a huge waste. This is something I have not tried yet. I’m currently in therapy, and that has helped halt the behavior a few years back, but my mindset is harder to control. I’m going to give the letter writing a go.
