I'm a bisexual woman, and I think a bisexual man would be my perfect match

"Carrying handbags" is also trauma response! A happy person would just carry all their stuff in their hands!

This logical reasoning is.... not good. I mean, assuming that both your premises are correct, that women in their 20s want a bad boy and women in their 30s want a nice guy, the obvious logical conclusion would be dating women in their 30s? You're looking for X. Your premises are Y=A and X=B. The answer is literally right there-- B-- but instead you're like, this math is too hard, fuck all this? Idk I truly don't understand your reasoning

Just, in general, the men on this thread/ in this subreddit aren’t people who need the added stress of someone putting ideas in their head about their girlfriends and how they rank in relation to others the girlfriend has been with. It’a not only a pointless mental exercise, but the men who take this to heart is going to bring that insecurity into their relationships, which their girlfriends will be able to pick up on. You’re going to get these men dumped, and these are men who most likely had t…

I think this is a very toxic thing to put into the heads of a group of men who are already insecure, and it’s also untrue

Not a great analogy, since nobody eats shit and it's probably bad for you, whereas a large percentage of people have gay sex. A better analogy would be saying you need to eat broccoli before you can know you don't like the taste, which is true.

This makes you straighter than any "straight" man who's never tried gay sex, and I salute you

yeah for real, men blaming women's lack of interest in them SOLELY on height makes it a lot easier for them to not have to examine the real reasons women don't want them

I feel like THIS is the actual answer that everyone is overlooking. OP, I am very sorry you keep getting rejected, but perhaps your specific taste in women is women who want abusers. Someone could easily take your shyness as rejection and make a post like, "why do men only like victims and not confident women like me?" Some women have bad taste in men. Some men have bad taste in women. Gender is not a monolith-- the specifics of what someone is looking for in a relationship varies from person to…

This feels..... kinda personal. I genuinely wish you well and hope you move on from your divorce soon. I promise things will look up for you in the future if you approach it with a positive attitude.

Most women I know, including me, are in the 12-25 range. I think this is good. We need to experiment in order to know what we want.

Plastic surgery is a great fucking thing, and people will always be all self-righteous like “don’t get surgery! Love yourself for who you are!” BUT my POV is that “who you are” isn’t who you are on the outside, it’s who you are on the inside. The outside is malliable, and should be a reflection of who you are on the inside. All these anti-plastic-surgery people never have a problem with dying your hair or cutting your nails or going to the gym. Your body is a temple and sometimes a temple could …

It doesn't say AS MUCH about my personality about the number of podcasts I've listened to! Or the number I got on my LSAT score. Or the number of plants I currently have in my house! Did you know if you cut pieces off plants and put them in water, a whole new plant grows? Fucking insane, man

fuck i feel for these guys because they have no fucking clue. I guarantee their girls chased after me harder, and did things for me they'll never do for their boyfriends. Hell they put up with me and my shit and i doubt they're boyfriends will get anywhere near to the leeway they gave too me. the thing is, I think you're viewing this through a very wishful emotional point of view. You have absolutely no idea what's going through any of these girls heads. You have no idea how much they've grown a…

Not really sure what the purpose of your anecdote was, but I think that every human being, male or female, has their own views on how they value sex that are different than others. Personally, MY sex has not been transactional. I guess, in the spirit of OP’s post, I guess when it comes to gender relations I am a little worried that a partner WILL think of sex as transactional, and our different attitudes about sex will tear us apart.

Lets take a decent number of girls that i know; they partied, had threesomes, foursomes, etc but they didn't do so with their boyfriends IN FACT they never wanted to do so with their boyfriends Woahhhh hold your horses there, my friend! It sounds like your idea of "wild times" are way more hardcore than mine! A couple of one night stands does not a slut make! See, this is the problem. I don't want a man who thinks of me in terms of a "product" with inherent "value", comparing me to things like f…

I'm a law student, but sometimes I think about all the jobs I've ever had and the best one by FAR was nannying-- I loved those kids so much and I loved getting them dressed for school and shuttling them from place to place and I love cleaning my house and sometimes I wonder if it would have been easier if I was living in the past and was able to just get married and have kids and be a housewife. Now, obviously, more is expected of women, and it's impossible to live in a one-income household. And…

feminism negatively affects men the way that literacy negatively affected the church's power in government and civil rights negatively affected the tobacco and cotton farm owners. When people are used to being superior, equality feels like oppression.

I’ve thought about this a lot cause I’d been thinking about how I would handle it if I had a child with special needs, and how these supermoms seem so PERFECT and caring and how I don’t know if I could do it. BUT I know I would be the perfect mom for a transgender child. THAT I could totally handle. TBH if I have a transgender kid I’d be grateful that I was their parent and not someone else who would be less understanding. Either way, I’d start them on hormones before puberty so that they don’t …

To show he wasn't THAT kind of guy-- someone who can just go out and get any girl to fuck him at any time. Because in that case, one could argue that he was tempted by lots of other offers and it's understandable that he wouldn't have wanted to be tied down. He wasn't. He was tempted by the idea that he was in college and SHOULD be hooking up

Yes It was awful. I met him when he had just turned 19 and I had just turned 20. He was a virgin before meeting me. We were in a relationship for a year and a half and we were SO in love and had relationships with each other's family and talked about marriage and babies one day. But he'd always been a little insecure that I had had sex with other people before him and he hadn't had sex with other people before me. One day out of the blue (and right before Valentine's Day) we were discussing the …

Sex isn't something that women "give away" in exchange for commitment just like how you wouldn't be giving away your basketballness if we would play a round of basketball. Nothing is lost. I am 100% using this! This is a great comparison!

Oh my god that thread is horrifying. He doesn't realize that the REASON she dumped him is BECAUSE he's following TRP advice? She's scared to be with him because she doesn't think he likes her because RP tells men to treat women like they don't care about them! This is a prime example about how little self-awareness all those commenters have. If he listens to them, he's playing himself

You're completely right. Feminism is the REASON women are now able to break free of gender roles. And I think it's about time that men have their own movement to promote their own breaking free of gender roles. One that goes hand in hand with feminism. Men shouldn't be penalized for being short or having emotions. And now, since women are becoming breadwinners, men should be able to be stay at home dads. The only thing stopping men from breaking free of societal norms are themselves. Women have …

Exactly this! If you're a beta and don't have the masculine traits you wish you did, don't you want a woman you wants you for who YOU are? Wouldn't it suck to be with a girl who only likes you for your looks and the traits you cultivated specifically for getting laid? I think a lot of people here have a pretty narrow view of women and what they want. I mean, don't men ever like women for who they are and not just their faces and boobs?

Your interpretation of your own personal experiences is totally valid. But you should also take a step back and think about whether this interpretation is 100% accurate. It seems like your logic consists of this: A. Women like men who are six feet tall and hot B. Women do not like me C. I am not six feet tall and hot Therefore: Women do not like men who are not six feel tall and hot It's a logical fallacy, and your exact viewpoint has been disproven time after time after time over thousands of y…

I have no idea where you're getting this data from. Is there a census I'm supposed to be filling out about the make and model of the men I fuck and where I am on my menstural cycle? How are you so aware of where women all over the world are on their cycles and exactly the type of people they're sleeping with? Also, assuming your premise is true about women's tastes changing during ovulation (which I do believe is true), since women are hornier during this time, wouldn't that mean they'd be more …

This hurts my heart to read. I feel so sorry for this girl, and if I knew her in real life I would tell her to get the hell out of this toxic relationship immediately. And if you 'can't figure out why she's upset' then I don't think you understand the female mind as well as you think you do

Purple pill woman here, and I totally agree but for different reasons. Marriage is not the end of my life where I can just give up. It's the beginning of a new adventure. If I 'let myself go', I won't be respecting myself, and if I don't respect myself, how could I have an enjoyable and fun marriage? I don't want to sit around the house. I want to go out and have an active life with my husband. If he really loved me, both of us would want to stay fit and healthy for each other. That's not to say…

2 was my favorite because he looks like someone who I would actually enjoy being around and wouldn't have to worry about him cheating. If someone's TOO hot they're probably used to a lot of female attention and have a super high N count, which (to me) is unattractive.

Not sure I follow-- in my experience (I come from a Jewish upper middle class town) the women tend to be dominant and the men tend to be submissive, and mine all of my friends' parents are happily married Not a single girl in my grade got pregnant all through high school, and I think the only drugs in my town were like pot and adderall and maybe xanex
