Unless you're Tony Levin. Or Les Claypool. Or Geddy Lee. Or John Paul Jones. Or Flea. Or Victor Wooten. Or Sting. Or Tina Weymouth. Or many other non-expendables. Bass is more important and less forgiving than guitar, if you actually care about having a good groove. They're not noticeable 99% of the time because 99% of bands don't value good bass or drumming, and thus are nothing special, and 99% of listeners are ignorant and don't think about music. I am pretty sure it was an essay called "Why Nice Guys Finish Last," by Julia Serrano - and I am pretty sure it was male-to-female. But she covered that topic prominently. I don't recall the name of the book it was published in.

So, that means they are gonna decree FDS a hate subreddit too, right? I mean, I can go there and find plenty of posts and comments that are legitimately hateful and sexist. Plus, they ban you just for being a man, and/or for making comments in a subreddit like this one, even if you have never looked at their hateful subreddit. No? Well... Good thing I had all the nerves on my head chemically deadened by a clown, so I don't ever have to scratch it anymore.

When they find out the truth "one day" and decide he was/is a good guy after all, it's too fucking late to fix the psychological and intellectual damage and handicaps caused by not having a full-time father. They won't have learned the things that only a father can teach, nor have been setup for success in the ways that only a paternal masculine influence can facilitate.

There's plenty of "good men" who have established themselves and are successful, and get no play because they have no game - even if they are good looking. It's pretty depressing how values, integrity, and just talking to women like a normal human being count against you.

AWALT is more about the fact that all women have the potential to be "like that." Hypergamy and Briffault's Law can go into effect at any moment, and emotions and rationalization are always in control. Some of them manage to do an ok job of mastering their primal nature, as some men do, but you have to be aware of the fact that you could wake up tomorrow to a different person than the one you know, who now sees you differently and negatively, and is walking out the door - and often likely to do …

No strawmen - just providing an example, to illustrate that words have meaning, and are connected to specific context. An albino python is a type of python, not something different entirely. A hermaphrodite is a hybrid of male and female. Do I account for there being a substantial amount of people that didn't turn out "normal" in respect to what we consider male or female gender reality? Sure. I'm not denying that the "complicated" category exists. Call me a cunt, project my intentions and "fear…

Agreed. I'm just not inclined to call that a seperate gender/sex. Mutations occur throughout nature, but we don't call an albino python a chimpanzee, even if it asserts that that's what it is on the *inside.*

If anyone wants to actually play fair, there's plenty of real scientific info about narcissistic abuse, socio/psychopathy, and other scenarios that detail how all of this often goes down. There are plenty of cases where it wasn't obvious that the charming new paramour was disordered, and such people exist in both genders.

I appreciate what you're saying here, and agree with most all of it. That said, calling someone a "coal burner" is kinda racist, and I have seen commenters use that here, more than once. It certainly connotes negative judgments purely on the basis of race. There is, unfortunately, a considerable amount of racist/white supremacist commentary throughout the manosphere - well beyond the degree that most thinking people could just dismiss as culturalism. I may well do that (ask questions), shy of seeking free therapy. But, the MGTOWTherapy sub could really use some help. There are a fair number of MGTOWs who really struggle with depression, "Manning up," self-actualizing, and shedding the need/desire for women entirely. They're not asking for help.

Well, I guess it could end when your vagina stops preferring fuckboys over "real men." Oh wait, that will never happen, so it will end when neither the fuckboys or the good men want to fuck you anymore.

I am republican in the sense of believing in government in the form of a Republic, governed by the rule of fair and just law, with a Constitution and well-defined INDIVIDUAL rights. I am anti-socialist, anti-collectivist. The US Republicans are still socialists, mostly just in the realm of social/moral activity. So many MGTOWs are aligned against leftist ideas because they understand that taxation is theft and slavery, just as with alimony. They understand that the state takes away a ton of thei…

This analogy will never work with women. They're just going to say "well, that's different." So, try this instead: You: "So, if I fucked 100 prostitutes before I met you, would that make a difference in whether or not you wanted to marry me?" Her: "That's different." You: "Damn right it is. Hot, high class escorts that are prettier than you are a hell of a lot more careful about not catching STDs than the Bad Boys and athletes you were fucking."

Nothing will change for the better in our lifetimes. A philosophical shift in a culture takes about 100 years to really show its effects. This is as true of the Renaissance and Enlightenment philosophy that ultimately birthed the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution (and the Industrial Revolution, about 100 years after that) as it is for Kant, Hegel, Marx, et al laying the foundation for the brutal communism, fascism, Nazism, etc of the early 20th century. Enjoy the decline, or do…

No, you've got it wrong. Modern society hates men. Women are a big reason why - they don't take accountability for anything they do wrong, and project many of their own flaws on to men. The men they have legitimate complaints about are just the ones they notice/are attracted to. The other 80% of men don't even register on women's radar. It starts young. "Girls are sugar and spice, and everything nice. Boys are snakes, snails, and puppy dog tails." Ever heard that one? There's plenty more. "Men a…

Rian, when it comes to writing or ideas I might contribute, I have very high standards. I look at the words of Rollo Tomassi, Illimitable Man, Archwinger, Whisper, Black Label Logic, and so many of the other vanguard veterans, and I hold off on contributing until I have something very valuable to offer. There's already so much redundant, repetitive, and "Red Pill Lite" content here that it's harder to find the really great stuff - let alone future sidebar material. My main complaint if this foru…

Well, maybe I am weird, but an intelligent, educated (but not a postmodernist) woman is attractive to me. I like the idea of intellectual conversation and equality. But, since that's not really doable, and since every such woman I have met is bitchy, entitled, disloyal, and hypergamous to the max, it's kind of a red flag. I'm not intimidated, I'm turned off.

Good to remember, but depression is progressive - what do you do when your mental, physical, and spiritual health keep deteriorating? What do you do when you have severe physical and/or emotional/psychological pain that only keeps increasing? Maybe you have desires, and they are meaningful and substantial - but are seemingly or actually out of reach (or, in the case of love, not even real). To what degree should you altruistically continue suffering an increasingly miserable existence, just for t…

They think that connections will keep happening. They think that meeting girls they like will be a reoccurring theme throughout their lives. They don't understand that finding someone worth liking is rare and doesn't happen every day. They could be throwing away the one shot to be with their soulmate because they think they might run into her again or that there are plenty of other girls like her out there. But when they're thirty and still chasing 20-something bimbos at the bar, hoping they'll …

This is really dangerous, guys... If we allow male sex robots, then women will act out their violent fantasies upon them. Then, when that no longer provides a thrill, they will start raping children. On the plus side, the manufacturers will sell a lot of spare parts, when the women inevitably chop their robo-dicks off.

Yeah, well, it's not men's fault that their biology predisposes them to promiscuity and aggression, either, but most manage to master their base nature well enough not to pick fights, kill one another, raze villages, or fuck anything/everything that moves, so perhaps women should learn self-awareness, accountability, and mastery over their own nature, as well - we especially since they can do everything men can, don't need men for anything, and deserve all the benefits of operating in a man's wo…

You should post this in /r/MGTOWTherapy, observe the lack of response and low subscriber count, and listen to the crickets. Despite plenty of statistics about it, and plenty of mainstream media articles about the "male suicide epidemic," few people give enough of a fuck to do anything substantial about it. Ok, I'll contribute, a little bit. Women should just start carrying weapons, which don't require physical brawn. Tasers, guns, pepper spray, etc. Any time any male does any "harassing" (or, hell, anything they don't like), they should just attack them. That will "teach men not to rape," really fast. And, really, for her to claim anything about her costume is her artistic creation is fucking laughable - she made a Lara Croft (-ish, at best) costume. She didn't create Lara Croft. She's probably never even played Tomb Raider. Neither have I, for that matter, nor have I seen the movie - but I know what it is, and I am quite certain that a male created it (and made the character as she is for shut-in gamers to gawk at, because boobs and profit). Bullshit. Basically, men live under the pressure of one unrelenting message: Do not be perceived as weak. Here’s the painful pattern that emerged from my research with men: We ask them to be vulnerable, we beg them to let us in, and we plead with them to tell us when they’re afraid, but the truth is that most women can’t stomach it. In those moments when real vulnerability happens in men, most of us recoil with fear and that fear manifests as everything from disappointment to disgust. And men ar…

The implementation by force/coercion is the problem. Ideally, everyone who wants children would recognize and understand the problem, we'd be candid about discussing it publicly/culturally, and people would just opt to have one or no children on their own. Your introduction to objective reality is to be found in the work of Aristotle. Also: The concept of objectivity contains the reason why the question “Who decides what is right or wrong?” is wrong. Nobody “decides.” Nature does not decide—it merely is; man does not decide, in issues of knowledge, he merely observes that which is. When it comes to applying his knowledge, man decides what he chooses to do, according to what he has learned, remembering that the basic principle of rational action in…

The key lesson for that guy to learn is: Don't ever expect women to be decisive, no matter how much women or popular culture tell us that they can be independent, make up their own mind, be assertive, meet you in the middle, etc. It would be nice if it were true, as I think all humans are capable of thinking for themselves and being pretty independent when it comes down to it (as evidenced by all the career women who are actually successful - in all areas except motherhood and relationships). Three years after discard, and the bitch still haunts me, especially in my dreams. C-PTSD and intractable depression. I would really rather be dead than ever have another memory, thought, or emotion about her.

As usual, the Red Pill authors commonly lampooned here (often dropping context or any recognition that they innovated many of the concepts/terms shared by TRP and MGTOW) do a much better job of explaining it: "War Brides" by The Rational Male, 10/3/2011

Excellent. Do this sort of thing more often, please.

And yet, the men at The Red Pill regularly have much more intelligent, insightful, expansive (in scope and application), constructive, and substantial things to say than most everyone here at MGTOW - even in regard to GOING YOUR OWN WAY.

There are numerous threads about this. All you have to do is search this forum for "STD" or "herpes" or any of the specific viruses/diseases.

It's cool that people are adding a modern masculine take on this in the comments - but, did any of you check the date on the article? It's 5 years old. I doubt anyone at CNN, or its audience, are going to see this. It would be entertaining to deluge the author with letters/emails, though. As a conservative, he should know/be better.

I found one once... She was/is truly a unicorn, intellectually and creatively. Wicked smart, wicked capable, efficient, SEEMINGLY very benevolent and loving. She proved to be even more hypergamous, entitled, narcissistic, and ruthless than your average HB8+

There should be no dumbing down. Period. Are we not MEN? If this community/sub, or its vanguards (especially), are to have any validity or merit in the realm of ideas or indignation, there must be an upholding of the notion that intellect and effective communication are of, at a minimum, EQUAL importance to lifting, looks, frame, game, SMV, and all the rest - if not GREATER. If the current majority TRP base cannot follow or understand, then that is a big problem - THEIR problem. Pandering to the…

Having an editor would be good for him - but, even with that acknowledged, his intellectual and ideological contribution vastly surpasses that of most of the other endorsed contributors and vanguards. He's certainly a better writer than 95% of everyone else who writes or comments on this sub.

I do not think of myself as any kind of exemplary scholar, and I have no trouble reading any of his books or articles. I would say they are, by far, the MOST useful and inspirational of RP materials. After getting my soul shattered by a oneitis, I read many of the books that are ultimately recommended here. The Rational Male was the only one that gave me any hope for the future, or any confidence in being able to change myself. Even when Rollo's work shines a light on my darkest beta truths, and…

This is no intent to contradict anything IllimitableMan has said here, so I advise asking yourself these additional questions: Do you know the nature/cause/subject of your brother's depression? Is it anything to do with being beta/blue pill? How "deeply entrenched" in Blue Pill is your brother, really? Is it so deep that he'd be resistant to examining/challenging his own premises, and asking if the ideals he's followed in life have really served him? In addition to/aside from the subtle manner o…

IllimitableMan, Your article on The Lost Boys is one of the only works, in my 1.5 years of reading/swallowing TRP, that gave me any compassion for myself or any forgiveness for my failures. I did not grow up without a father, but he worked so much and was so passive/emasculated that I wouldn't really call him a role model (plus, I didn't get to spend much time with him until 7th grade). My uncle and grandfather were hardworking and fairly masculine, but they weren't very educated and could not p…

Men certainly shouldn't be so sexually easy. While it contradicts a great deal of RP thinking (as it's largely a sexual strategy), one of the only ways I see to catalyze change, eliminate entitlement, and force more women to live in reality is for more and more men to withhold sex. I overheard a couple of female friends in a conversation, talking about what they were trying to find in the opposite sex. One of them, who is a biologist, and is one of the most honest, rational, and scientific peopl…

I agree on going all out - even on the "sexism" bit. It will likely be several years of absorbing the pill and meeting the core challenges before I start writing much/sharing my own perspective. I think I have some unique elements to offer, and I'm a decent writer, so, we'll see. In the meantime, I am glad there are plenty of you who are taking TRP and running with it. I am currently better at written communication than finding the most impactful and efficient things to say verbally/in the momen…

Dr_Warlock, I have to thank and commend you for doing this. I care not whether you delivered it in the manner of a formal debate or academic presentation. I have been reading here for a year and a half, and I found your language and intensity to hit home harder, and to be more inspiring/motivating, than much of what I've experienced in this TRP sub, particularly regarding frame, shit testing, and the motivations of feminism. Cheers.

Just go to a different doctor, a specialized urology clinic, or a practice that specializes in vasectomy. Or, if you have to, get some of your sperm saved for artificial insemination and never use it (or use it, if you actually DO change your mind someday).

Lesson learned: Do not ever show emotion, especially fear, vulnerability, weakness, imperfection. Do not ever fall in love, because if you do, you've already lost. And I've learned this by experience, especially via having been honest/vulnerable with a woman in such a manner, having it seemingly appreciated as a moment of tenderness and genuine expression, then used against me the very next day.

Since you've cited Brene Brown, here's a quote for you: “Basically, men live under the pressure of one unrelenting message: Do not be perceived as weak. Here’s the painful pattern that emerged from my research with men: We ask them to be vulnerable, we beg them to let us in, and we plead with them to tell us when they’re afraid, but the truth is that most women can’t stomach it. In those moments when real vulnerability happens in men, most of us recoil with fear and that fear manifests as everyt…
