this is about avoiding responsibility. she wants the "tingles " which is the first 3 months of a relationship, she doesn't want the rest of it. it was easy with her toxic exes because they didn't want the rest of it with her either. now she is scared of actually becoming an adult, she has no idea how, and she is shitting herself that the guy would get disappointed and walk away when her real colors start showing in situation that require making decisions and living with them. so she does the onl…

you are analysing this from a male point of view, but women don't think like men

no, I don't agree. it's not about the cleaning, it's about small acts of irresponsibility, which women notice and interpret it as a flag. that is something that often happens, you can argue that you like it or not, but women often see it that way and there are relationships that fall apart over shit like that. if you established with your partner that you bring money home and she is staying at home and cleans after you and she agreed then that's the deal. but that is only you and your relationsh…

she said nothing about not being a provider or cleaner. that's your own projecting. she only talked about women losing respect leading to a breakup. normally couples discuss household chores and split them. I don't know why you are so angry about different people sharing their thoughts

that's not "women being drilled in their entire childhood", that's your mom being abusive . I like how one person's shit becomes "systemic issue" when you have unresolved trauma ...

I don't know how your story invalidates her story. if you are not guilty of that behavior why are you upset about the comment. your partner is not supposed to be your mother though, you already have a mother.

I think what this post is complaining about is a repeated behavior. you have to explain yourself to your partner but if they keep ignoring your needs that is definitely not gonna be a long lasting relationship. sometimes unusual things drive people up on the wall so you have to at least try to put yourself into the other person's shoes a bit

that and also they are lied to. guys not gonna walk up to someone and tell them that they are only interested in them cause of the sex drive / attraction, that's not a winning strategy. and naive hot girls believe whatever cause they grow up in constant validation. so what do you expect. nobody is honest with them until they hit 30, nobody requires them to make an effort

uhm, they don't have to care about moral integrity cause there are no consequences, that was kind of the point. besides onlyfans is a different category than high end hospitaliy jobs. hotels casinos etc provide the infrastructure and stable salary, the original post was about people giving into promiscuous behavior in their hunt for a rich partner and high maintance lifestyle. when its a common culture they dont really risk anything by sleeping with the guests, or nobody can fire a flight attend…

isn't this common sense though? people living or working in the upper class bubble dont really care about moral integrity

it's not about that. your value goes up because you have proven to be someone who can manage a relationship. some other woman took the risk to test the waters out and it worked, they "preselected" the good one

you tell me. you can't get over how he spent too much time on the phone 6 months ago. that's really not a big deal and he fixed it. so why can't you. what kind of advice is there other than just move on? my guess is that the phone is not the real source of your trust issues, and you are in denial about how you actually feel about everything. honestly it shows

as a person who works out, being stronger and eating clean is very good for you, and you live longer. it also changes how you view life. I would have problems if my partner resisted the idea of an active healthier life, cause it would mean we have a very different concept about how we want to live in the future, what we would wanna teach our kids etc.

the thing I still don't get is, the guy is allowed to sleep with other women, OP is a housewife so her allowance probably comes out of the husband's pocket, that is safe to assume . and she saved up from that to buy a pair of boots basically to show how much she loves him.. would really the boots be a reason to neglect the family? anyway. we probably not gonna agree on this one
/r/RedPillWomen01/01/20 10:47 PM
1

I don't think those cases are even similar. a pair of boots imply nothing. you make it sound like its impossible to buy gifts for your partner because their goes their manliness out on the window. men are not that fragile. weight loss pills carry a message that you are not attractive anymore, but they are pretty unhealthy and I doubt my partner would buy me pills instead of just telling me he preferred if I lost a few pounds.

men's confidence really shake over a pair of boots I wonder

obviously. I make living with art. in an art industry. working with other artists. like the guy who worked on the hobbit. I obviously know nothing. but you worked as a nanny, congrats. lots of experience there. btw care to explain to me where exactly I said unemployed and how is your nanny job related to arsty leftists?

yeah that is indeed an issue. adults are responsible for controlling their emotions and not acting on impulses. lot of people go trough shit but don't end up being criminals, rapists, you name it, you can't approach to people as hurt little kids in need for help. sociopaths and psychopaths are also real. I'm not sure the thing you name as curiosity or non judgmental is not just a sign of a personality disorder or a lot of projecting. well I don't intend to diagnose that one on reddit, but bad th…

no offense, but you kinda sound "perfect", you tried everything, you like everything, you are super open and super nice, you have time for everything. most people are happy if they can hold one hobby with a full time job.

artsy leftist guys won't work, she has more balls than those guys. in the end of the day however independent a woman is they like their man to be the rock of the relationship. I work with artsy leftist guys pretty often, they are not very successful with relationships.

I agree with the comment above, the thing is, the kind of man you are looking for doesn't want used goods. I'm referring to the amount of guys you slept with and that you got a stripper job cause you were bored. The question is not if it's okay for women to enjoy life to their heart content, but that what kind of value system can a person with that life style pass down to the kids, male or female. You can't really turn overnight and be a different person than what your experiences shaped you to …

loyalty is earned, why should anyone be loyal to somebody who doesn't deserve it. you seem to agree with that OP's boyfriend is not exactly an honorable man, so you don't make much sense

I'm with you on this one. something bad is bound to happen, and it seems like the religion prevents any logical solution from birth control to divorce to avoid that. Wife is giving control to husband over her health and the guy is making bad decisions. Dunno what to say, this is so damaging in a relationship and people have been trying really hard in the comments to figure out how to preserve it... If he is not willing to change his mind, something bad is gonna happen, another accidental pregnan…

originally I wanted to break it down point by point, but then I deleted it, this is a rather complex topic for reddit comments. my opinion in a nutshell is office is not for establishing your femininity in social interactions. sure, dress up decently, and be nice to people, that's given. but a lot of things you listed are made for a certain dynamic in a relationship, work connections don't operate on those. in most cases if this is how you acted in the office people would think you are a no-brai…

well as others said, heavy drinking and driving is not a small stupid mistake a 40 years old does, that's self destructing behavior. and you are not his mom. what also concerns me is why a 40 years old guy is dating such a young girl. not saying there can't be an age gap, but women closer to his age would probably run without thinking, you may be easier to deceive.

gaslighting is rewriting reality, and telling that the things you experience or feel are actually not the things you experience or feel. from one of your comments: "A lot of the time I have no idea I’ve disrespected him" it seems like he makes you think any time you have a negative but legit reaction to him being selfish is you disrespecting him. it also seems like he plays on your fear of not being good enough by constantly reassuring that you indeed make too many big mistakes, and that his sta…

if this is an addiction related to stress, anxiety or obsessive compulsive behavior, he would need therapy. telling him to stop would be like telling an alcoholic to just put it down, so that could be one reason why he keeps trying to stop and falls back again.
/r/RedPillWomen27/12/19 10:29 PM

therapy is probably a good idea. I'm just thinking that maybe your best friend cutting you out and others not sticking around either are related to the same issue.
/r/RedPillWomen27/12/19 09:45 PM
2

your best friend cut you out suddenly, new people ghost you. these things don't happen cause you are too nice. but we don't know much more than that, so it's impossible to pinpoint what may be the core of the problems. you need some honest feedback from somebody who can observe you, not some self help book

what you described here is a 5 years old child when they throw a tantrum and an enabler parent

I think OP has shared enough information about this relationship and herself. you are trying to talk a heavily codependent person into how to be even more codependent.
/r/RedPillWomen27/12/19 10:41 AM

abusive behavior can be learned and genetic, but the topic is too complex to properly discuss here. it seems like OP still hopes her relationship can be fixed, and everybody got the impression that this guy is on the bad end so if she tries to fix this based on some half assed google articles, things gonna get worse. we don't know what a guy with this attitude would do when properly told "no".

after reading all your comments, what you describe sounds like a typical narcissistic personality disorder. not like I wanna diagnose, but his reaction to you trying to set boundaries and all the gaslighting are rather common signs. NPD can't be fixed, you can think of it as a malfunction in the brain. it is also very hard to diagnose as people with NPD don't think there is anything wrong with them that would require a diagnosis or treatment. if you decide to live with it you can expect your who…

every time you hit the bar, they raise it higher. it's a game designed to keep you insecure and dependent. sometimes they throw you things to keep you attached, it makes you think there is something waiting for you when you are finally "good enough". if somebody punishes you, you need to cut that person out of your life, that's not how healthy relationships work
/r/RedPillWomen27/12/19 12:08 AM
34

abused people often choose abusive relationships because that's what they are familiar with and recognize as a relationship, and also because they keep trying to fix things to make up for the past. it's not gonna work.they put you in a game you can't win

doesn't matter whats the reason, if you don't wanna do it, then just don't. even if he is telling the truth, if this behavior is normal for him but it leaves you with doubts, that's how you would feel in the relationship as well.

this is not a relationship. he is an abuser and you are an enabler. let me guess your parents made you feel like you are not good enough and now you are tying to prove it to any person you get close to?

" I love my husband to death, but he is very beta and passive. Are there any resources on how to love my huaband better? " I'm confused, you just said you already love him, no? dunno if he is beta or just lazy. you wanna learn how to accept that or how to make him do some chores?

maybe you like a good debate. that's what you need to opress. also it takes time for people to untangle what they think and put them into words, so you have to let that roll out
/r/RedPillWomen22/12/19 02:27 PM

think about what things in his behavior could be possible red flags, those are the things you gotta watch out for next time. sometimes people just fall in love with the wrong person, it happens all the time. that's not gonna make it easier but you probably didn't do anything dumb
