There are a few out there though that will purposely make you feel bad for hitting on them. When it happens don't take it personal; it's them not you, most of the time, trust me.

Play like a player but expect to lose. You'll get rid of the pressure and you'll have more fun because in the end it's all a gamble like being at a casino. A person who goes into a casino to earn cash is a dumbass because he probably isn't going to get shit, while a person who goes into a casino because he like the exhilaration he gets from the games will have fun whether he wins or loses. I've been doing something similar to this very recently, revealing intention early on in the relationship. Well yea being chill and fun will give you and edge but it's sort of like playing a pickup game of basketball or C.O.D., it's fun but there's always this tinge of competition, sure you don't do anything and EVERYTHING to win but everyone wants to win and when you lose you get kind of upset but a good sportsman knows that you should just move on and learn from your mistakes, not be mad and not be a sore loser. You shouldn't define yourself by the people around you...you should look inward and if your comfortable with yourself than it's all good, no matter who comes and goes. People come and go and everyone has to live with it; life is hard that way.
