I just got into my first year in college and I'v been hearing alot of my fellow classmates and people on yik yak complaining that they can't talk to girls...or that they don't have many friends. My first day I didn't know anyone on my campus but I made a habit of going to the cafeteria (like the main buffet style cafeteria all colleges have) and all I do is say "Is this seat taken?".

That's it, that's all it takes to get in a conversation with ANYONE. If your nervous just shut your brain off or just focus on what your going to say ("Is this seat taken?") and you'll do fine.

I haven't gotten rejected yet, and honestly I doubt I ever will, and now I know so many of the people that go to the cafe that I always have someone to sit with at any time of day. Unfortunately I do have problems with closing.

College is suppose to be fun you should go out and meet as many people as you can and I have honestly never talked to so many hot girls in my life! :D

TLDR: Go to your college cafeteria, grab some food, find a table with a hot girl and point at the seat right next to her and ask "Is this seat taken?"
