I actually was going through this and took a part time job pouring beer at Tree House Brewery in Tewksbury. It's fun, keeps me busy and gives you ple ty of people to meet and chat with. Definitely the best social and extra $$ I could have found.

Exactly brother! I work at Tree House Brewery. Unfortunately not a brewer but still an awesome job!

Sadly working my second job until 4 so I can manage paying the bills on a single income. Positive side is, it's at a brewery. Positive 2, I get my son after work and have him all day tomorrow even though it's normally her days.

The "happy wife happy life" line is bs. Happy wife happy life until you catch them or are too miserable trying to keep them happy to deal with it anymore.

The problem is, the numbers look good. I don't have to pay support, my lawyer fees we minimal because I was smart with everything. I can buy her out, finish projects and do the needed upgrades and sell for 75-100k more than the current market value. This would then put even more money in my pocket. Only number thay doesn't work is my credit apparently. I'm not sure where you live but rental I'm my area is as much or more in almost every case then even taking a cash out refi and paying higher int…

I dumped all social media other than this a couple months before being served papers. Honestly, it was the best thing for my mental health and have never looked back. The people you want to hear from keep in touch and the people that don't you no longer need to worry about. Just get rid of all social media then you can truly move on and not have to worry about anything "popping" up

Thanks for that! He's still young and very early on but so far that is exactly how he is. Very eager to be with me but only excited to see or talk to her. I'm just hoping dor the best and do as much with him as I can for 50% of the time.

That's exactly how I can see this going. She cheated on me for the past several years, maybe longer. Never really showed a true motherly/parental love towards him. He's only 6 but I think he already sees through her and has said as much to my parents when I'm not around.

This is exactly right. It's tough and I do totally understand where my boss is coming from. It's all about numbers. Unfortunately, when taking the job they seemed more "family oriented" but with all of this going on they are definitely more of the same and showing what they really are. Money, numbers and goals. Doesn't matter what's going on in the world or at home. Sales isn't as fun or what it once was and I agree if I can't have my head 100% in it, it's time to move on and reset.

Unfortunately we don't. It's a smallish company. He does know what's going on but said"he's not a therapist but he would think getting out and working would be great therapy to keep your off of things." Normally I would agree but experiencing it and trying to deal with people that aren't understanding and expect you to wait on them hand and foot, doesn't make it any better. Just a shitty spot overall. Sorry for the venting.

I definitely appreciate the thoughts and ideas. I'll probably put that to use at the next job. Unfortunately, disconnecting from work even got a few minutes is frowned up, hence the reason I'm in the divorce mess. I'm in outside sales in the construction industry. Expectations are to have your phone on you 24/7. When my wife served me papers, I took 2 days off, first in 2 years, and was spoken to the following Monday for shutting my phone off and not taking calls. Honestly, I think change is lon…

When Legends Rise, the entire album from Godsmack is very fitting and has been great listening for me

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
