When I go to sleep at night this is what I do, imagine my life with the girl of my dreams. I fantasize about being the best version of me I can create in fantasy, perfect me with the wife of gf of my dreams. It’s comforting at times but provides no real closure.

Yeah, ive seen it happen. The thing about it though was that the dude was tall, well muscled, and had a strong jawline.

I feel like I am realistic with my expectations. Ive been very physically attracted to multiple girls in my life who I knew personally. Completely normal girls. And yeah, I work on my apearence. Im not doing nothing. And depending upon a very very small group of people (demisexuals) when it comes to relationships seems like a bad idea.

I think im smart, funny around people im comfortable with, empathetic, hard working, and I display a high level of perserverence. According to those who know me like my friends and esspecially my mother. But loving myself is hard. I can be happy with those traits but that just feels like a bare minimum. But nobody can see personality, its not what draws people to want to be with you, thats physical attractiveness. I don't produce that.

When I talk about this it doesnt mean that I think all women are shallow and only want "chad" or that women all like the same things. I just feel as if that I can't live up to the standards of those I want to date. I have major self esteem issues, and my body image is bad. Thats kind of a product of being a former fat kid. It just feels like these girls who im attracted to are "out of my leauge" and that im not fit enough for them. And it feels like its impossiboe for them to like my body as it …

How is what I said misogyny? Im not attracted to fat women. How is that misogyny? You really are just making assumptions. I don't hate women, I don't hate fat women. I do not treat them any different from anyone else, im just not attracted to them. And yeah, if someone told you to "get surgery" because you had a personal prenfrence you would likely respond defensively. You and the other commenter can go piss somewhere else.

You really are just a femcel. Go back to FDS. Ive talked to you before, just because I don't like fat chicks doesnt make me shallow. "Just get surgery", fuck off.

Im not saying shes shallow. But if lots of girls like something like that and probably wouldn't compromise on it, its pretty likely she would feel the same way. I know I wont be a teenager forever, but if im only good looking enough to date for these girls years down the road when they lowered their standards. That doesnt really feel good when I think about. If im only good enough when they lower their standards, was I ever actually good enough? Do they actaually find me attractive? That really …

Well its not that your opinion isnt valuable, its just that, well, im 16 and you're probably mid 30s? (No offense). What 16-17 yr old girls like physically is way different from what 35yr old women like. The thing is, you'd be hard pressed to find any cute girls my age who werent picky about that sort of thing. Its a pretty wide spread prefrence, and im honeslty afraid thwy arent willing to compromise on it. Some who don't care exist, but Ive only ever seen three who clearly didn't care. And the…

I just want to make my odds as good as possible. And thats the thing, I just don't think any are into me. I don't really have a "type" not in the normal sense of the word anyway. I realize pandering to all women is impossible. But I still think the girls im attracted to are too pretty for me to stand a chance at being with.

Im not shallow to other people. Im shallow to myself, I hate how I look and if I could change every bit of it I would. I just don't think im attractive unless I get a better body. Its not throwing digs at you or women like you and im honeslty confused as to why you think I am. But I can't look myself in the mirror and actually say that I don't feel discontent or frustrated with myself. I want the girls im interested in not to care about something like abs. I just don't see them finding me attrac…

I do not have abs, never have. I can't accept myself. None of these girls will be attracted to me if I don't improve my body more, even now. Im just not good enough for them. I need to work harder. I just can't love or accept myself otherwise. My body is the problem, its the root cause. I don't think any of these girls will want me otherwise.

When I talk about what women find attractive im speaking in general terms. Its statistically proven that women, for the most part, like dudes with abs. It statistically proven that women, for the most part, like taller guys. So it would make sense to assume on the outset that men with these and other conventionally attractive traits are more valued and sought after in dating. I also havent met many women who have seriously broken this mold, all but one really. Not to say all women like the same …

A lot of guys feel this way. Why should I go for this girl who I think is cute when she probably has more options anyway? She will likely never see me as attractive anyway. Even if I befriend her and let my "personality" do the work I will still, more than extremely likely, end up only being a friend because she isn't attracted to me. And in the almost 0% chance she wants to date me, she probably won't be very strongly attracted to me. Not as strongly as she would be attracted to much better loo…

3 to 4 years ago I was worried about playing video game, ha. I know nobody's life is 100% great all the time. But my life, my daily routine, is so boring and tiring that maybe being able to spend time with another person. As more than friends, would make it more bearable. Like I said seeing my friends posts on instagram when they hangout with their gf's on the weekend is pretty saddening. Especially when all I did was work. And no, they arent making up their stories. I know they're true because …

Even if shes more attractive than you she still chose you, remember that. She wanted to be with YOU, she likes YOU. If you are emotionally vulnerable, communicate, and can be open with her more than likely she will not regret choosing you. You can do this bro, you just have to leave TRP thoughts behind.

If you want to keep this girl you have to be vulnerable with her. Its not weakness, you're being human by having those emotions. Hiding them and pushing her away by trying to not seem emotional is going to kill your relationship. Talk to her about your insecurities of being less attractive than her, communicate with her. Any good woman or even person in general will not leave you for being vulnerable and sharing your emotions. If you keep going down this road of not trusting her, pushing her awa…

Listen, I compare myself to other people a lot. But these athletes, their lives arent entirely glamourous. They have strict diets, they have to work out all the time, they have to be in peak physical shape constantly, their whole careers essentially hinge on wether or not they get hurt and if they get too old. NFL guys make millions of dollars but they're lives litterally revolve around their work. They have off seasons but that is still revolving around the future seasons and they still practic…

Ive seen some of the pictures of the captured Russian soldiers and most of them look barely 18. They all look tired, confused, and scared.

Eh, I used to be fat. Like super fat. Like struggle to walk uo the stairs fat. Im still a bit doughy in some spots, between the thighs and the love handles. And the loose skin is pretty prevelant, it covers a good bit of my lower abdomen and arms. I have pictures on my profile if you want to see.

You act as if I do view women as mystical beings. I don't I have no clue how they interpret what I say, ive tried changing how I say things to litterally no avail. I don't even make playful insults as negging, I didn't even know what that was. I don't mind when girls talk about fashion, makeup, and hair products. Because if they are talking about it I could maybe pick up a few tips to manage my skin or stuff to make my hair more healthy. Plus if they like those things then why not listen to them…

While tall blondes are my prefrence a pretty gal is a pretty gal. I won't necessarily pick a tall blonde over a short brunette, I have a type but its not a strong enough prefrence for me to pick tall blonde over anything else. I don't much enjoy talking about myself unless its to my very close friends because they generally enjoy the same things I do. So I desire somebody passionate about what they love and love talking about it, whatever that may be. I find booksmarts to be attractive, she does…

Ive worked out for a while now, a little over 2 years. And thats the thing, I have the marks of the journey, loose skin. But I hate it, its not attractive. And I have nothing that raises my confidence and everything ive tried hasnt worked.

Because I don't want to miss out on these life experiences and then be in my mid 30s be somebody's choice to settle down with because I have a nice job after they've had their fun and had multiple sexual partners who were likely better looking than me and more muscular than me. And I mean who wouldnt want to have options, who wouldnt want to have their pick of all the pretty girls. If I got felt up or given all the attention like my friends do I would have an astronomical level of confidence.

OLD is not indicitive of real life dating. Tinder is horrible for men who arent attractive. Its basically every woman on that site swiping left until they see a hot guy.

11% of men ar on okcupid 6% of women are on okcupid. This means that more than half of the people on okcupid are men. That still projects the issue of women being out numbered making it basically pointless for men if youre not an 8/10 at least.

So what pictures shall they use? Im sorry but paying for profesional photos for OLD is absurd. And have you ever stopped to think that the reason they post those pictures is because they are pictures of things they enjoy doing. I know plenty of guys who love to fish, its their hobby, something they like to do on the weekend with their dad or their brother. I know guys that love to hunt, and every time deer season rolls around they're in their tree stand in the frigid cold at absurd hours in the …

Then get called gay. Either way online dating is male dominated, any man not an 8/10 won't do good at all in online dating, just because of the ratio of men to women.

Im not having much of a youth to rob. I will just have to sit idly by as my prime years pass by because of how I look. I just get to sit and watch other people have their happieness while I long for the same experience.

Im sure you think I look average or normal which I probably do. But I don't like being just average. Being called average is almost the same as being called ugly, its really just slightly better. Average guys don't get a whole lot of attention either. I wouldn't call it dysmorphia so much as discontentment. I know im average, and I can't stand it. A lot of average guys both in highschool and in adulthood don't experience the attention and affection that conventionally attractive guys do. I would…

Unfortunately profesional help isnt accesable. And I have been on r/bropill since my last posting here 5 months ago. The thoughts are exhausting, and become even more so as time passes. There is that distinct sense of hopelessness that the blackpill instills which makes it tiring.

I will admit, living in a small town of roughly 500 isn't helping my situation. I get rather excited when new people show up to our area and stay. But my situation doesn't really change as everyone knows me like a loser so the title stays with me. Honestly when I graduate im out of here, this town has nothing to offer me. The reason I defend my hobbies is for the exact reason you described. They are things I deeply enjoy and I don't share then with the people I know irl because they wouldn't hav…
