Not in western countries where family law is against men.

I got out after 13 years of misery. I remember my psychologist told me once. “you have to do whatever you can, to make yourself happy”. It might cost you a lot of money to get out of this relationship, but in exchange you will get freedom and peace. Of course assuming you’ve done everything you could to make this relationship work. Good luck to you.

Never give women power to control you and have the key to ruin your life.

Someone who is really into me (love me) just for who I am. Personality wise it’s compatible. She doesn’t care about my status money or messed up past. She has sex drive enough to make relationship interesting. Respects and supports me no matter what. Someone, even if I am fully paralyzed she is there for me until last my breath.

I’m in almost same situation. 5 and 9. She has the kids. I see them almost everyday for couple hours but I miss them when I say goodbye every time. But at the same time, I enjoy my freedom from ex also. She’s extreme level of narcissist so..

I worry for my young daughters 5 and 9. More and more men are opting out of traditional marriage.

Unfortunately, there’s no western woman who value traditional value. You have to look outside of this country.

How did she manage to get bf with two young kids… gees. I’m in the similar boat. I’ve been divorced for a year with 4 and 8 year old. She’s still single

I couldn’t betray myself anymore … I really tried 13 years giving and providing. I was too depressed and hopeless for too long. I’m not an atm machine.

All because of the kids, she will fight to death for the kids, and I do not want anything to hurt them either. I want them to be in a peaceful place under her, and she agreed to let me see the kids daily basis. Meanwhile, I have moved on with my life. I want things to be all amicable for kids.

I did get in writing, but Lawyer told me that even if you get notarized you’ll be overruled by the judges anyway so it is useless to have in writing of any kind when it comes to child support payment. If my ex was ruthless, she could easily destroy me with so many things like pensions and full amount of child support and many others

I did this without court or Lawyer getting involved my ex, and I we just verbally agreed and she got the primary care but I get to visit the kids. I do pay half of the day care though which is kind of like child support, but much much less than what I supposed to pay. It’s really up to how you negotiate or talk with your ex.

Be careful, she could epo you. That’s what my ex did. It comes without any warning and you are immediately homeless.

How are you coping with that? It must be devastating.

She epo me at the time, and I wasn’t even sure I can see the kids or not. that was thrown out eventually but during that time I was begging I’ll do anything I’ll sign anything if I can see the kids. At first she was mutual, but now it’s becoming very difficult. I am seriously reconsidering opening the case because it’s so one-sided. She’s mocking me every day with her personal feeling mixing up with coparenting.

For my case, you have to contact the police and they allow you to go in there to grab your belongings for a few minutes then I gonna give you a lot of time.

I couldn’t handle it anymore. Loveless, ungrateful, selfish, conniving, narcissist who only care about her and kids well-being, use me as a bank. No.. I had no choice but to leave. I was too depressed enduring for 13 years mainly for kids but it was too depressing. No regrets.

That’s what she wanted or else it’s gonna be a long legal battle. Already spent 35k all my savings at that point just to get the epo thrown out and parental order set. She also threaten She will say I abused the kids and her. Understanding the law is against men here I thought I will lose the case hundred percent if she use the word. Abuse. They even gave the EPO without any evidence and I was left homeless for a month, unable to see the kids, kicked out of my own house., Also I thought it was b…

That’s what I’m asking if I can reopen the case and ask for unsupervised time with my kids Because currently it’s 100% supervised under her and I have to go to her place at all times or wherever she want me to meet them . I have zero control
/r/Divorce_Men31/10/22 03:15 AM

Based on my lawyer, it is still open agreement which the kids can be opened at any time however, the longer it takes it would be more difficult is what she said. Now the point I was making is not about the denial of visitation. He’s more to do is me unable to enjoy the kids under her supervision when she is not in a good mood and when she’s treating me like a second class citizen, how can I be in a enjoyable mood to be with kids? let alone building a relationship with them. She has 99% of the ti…

I asked my 8 year d daughter “do you know what day today?” She said “Sunday” No one knew today was Father’s Day. Ex overheard what I asked her so I said it’s Father’s Day and she says “oh. Didn’t know”

I have suffered 13 years of same thing. Now I found much peaceful life living in my own house with a gf . I see the kids everyday at ex house. It’s amicable

I triggered when police showed up at the door step. "pack your stuff and out of your? house. here is your epo" turns out she made up a story at the court that morning and requested for epo. month later at the hearing, it was all turned out lies. it thrown out. but damage is already done. they moved out and I moved on. but same like you.. or all of us..(no income, cheating, no trust, no priority on me, treat me like i'm atm machine..etc etc..)

she left me with m daughters. 3 and 5 We were in toxic relationship for years. In fact we divorced 3 years ago but we still lived together until she decided to leave last aug. I get to visit them couple hrs a day only at her place. It’s ok as long as I get to see the kids. I live day to day hoping for the best

I wish I never had kids with her. It would’ve been so much easier. Because she has the kids sometimes I do think about going back but then I tell myself don’t do that because you don’t wanna be depressed again.

wife just called and said..want to leave with one of the kid. and leave 6 year old with me. I agreed and I hope.. she keeps her word (which I highly doubt). i haven't had sex with ex for so long.. i don't even know what it will feel like with next person. well like my ex says.. you have to physically separate so you can live your life.

wow.. incredible. fellow edmontonian... but after living there for 23 years I moved here in calgary with family last year. nice to meet you man. I can't find rent near where i live and also I'm renting now so.. I don't know when ex will decide to leave either with kids.

we don't have agreement like that written in stone as we decided that anything asset/financial wise, we negotiated and done. child/spousal support also.. we negotiated and agreed. only thing is.. me living in the same roof or not.

we're 50/50 in custody. i just can't imagine living under same roof.. for rest of my life. or until kids move out. with her

I'm also waiting .. But I have two young kids..she's gonna take them when she move out so I'm also unsure what kind of pain it would be without seeing them(kids) every night.

At least you have a son with u... I gave all to her(ex). I made this decision after my daughter looked at me innocently and said.. “I want mommy” So I decided.. no one wants me. Not even my own child who I gave all and only reason to hold on to this marriage. It is tearing me apart but that’s my life I guess. I don’t know... I hope time or something will heal me one day

This sounds foreign language to me. Agreement in writing? Is there a form of some kind? That cover all the basis? Let’s say I got the agreement, what do I do? Sell the house? Do I leave now?. Basically what is step one?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
