What matters most though is whether they lie to the voters. Oops and there goes every candidate ever.

You can't call this shit science, it reads like the ramblings of a crazy person. There might be a good point somewhere in there but it's lost amongst the bad science, pseudointellectualism, and random rants about commies. This kind of stuff won't attract anybody but idiots to RP.

It's like how they don't give a shit if legalizing prostitution would make things safer for prostitutes and their clients. They don't necessarily oppose improving conditions for prostitutes, but not at the cost of undercutting the monopoly on sex.

WTF, out of all the shit we see here regularly this is about as innocuous as it gets. Men do this too, you've never heard those stories?

It's times like this when I wish I could be more attracted to a woman's accomplishments rather than her looks. Our desires are a curse.

Why is it so terrible to be propositioned for sex in a completely safe environment like that? I can see why it would be scary if it were on the street but this is online.

I'm not talking about fat chicks that have trouble losing weight, I'm talking about girls with no hips, broad shoulders, man jaws, and big foreheads. Many girls have some or all of those characteristics and no matter how in-shape they get I will never find them attractive.

Obviously it's unethical. It's a basic tenet of ethics that you don't take advantage of the weak. It's one thing if you want to do so anyway but don't pretend that it's not unethical.

His mistake was publicizing it. What an idiot. It would have gone away quickly if he had made a joke about it rather than going out of his own way to escalate it. I can't even really feel sorry for him. I suppose he had good intentions but Jesus what a boneheaded move.

I think the worst feminists even want to eliminate the hot women. They'd rather race to the bottom.

The sad/hilarious thing is that if men actually behaved as these people want them to and dropped all their standards, they'd become completely unattractive.
/r/TheRedPill10/01/14 05:56 AM

I have to disagree. I think it's actually the opposite. A girl with terrible bone structure in face and body will never become attractive no matter how hard she works at it. Sad, but true. On the other hand, a man can change his personality to become an attractive one given enough effort. The only thing that can't be changed is height, but given enough success in other areas, it barely even matters (Robert Downey Jr.)

It's ridiculous how angry people get over other peoples' dating preferences. As if they are somehow entitled to be found attractive simply by doing whatever the fuck they want.

I'm disappointed in you TRP, like half the comments in this thread imply that the commenter actually believes that the thin dick is the real reason she's ending the relationship.

"Back in my day" comments should always be taken with a heavy grain of salt if not disregarded entirely. There's not a single generation ever that didn't consider itself superior in some way to the following generation. They're just silly opinions that are impossible to prove or disprove.

Feminism is the wrong scapegoat. Back in the day, the man always paid, in part because women didn't have their own incomes. Feminism is what's making it more common for women to pay their share on dates.

You admit the science is shaky. What I'm objecting to is the overzealous devotion to that shaky science that many seem to advocate. The phrase that bothers me most is probably "nature intended." Nature doesn't "intend" anything.

I only got two worthwhile pieces of advice from that article. The first one is that chemistry happens when you live in the moment and enjoy yourself, which is very true. The second piece of advice is more subtle and wasn't explicitly stated. It's that you can get tons of pussy even if you're a dweeby looking dude like that guy.

My last gf I met through work. I'm in a very conservative profession where everyone cares way too much about their reputation. IMO, trying to hook up with a girl from work requires a lot of restraint. You shouldn't be as forward as you would with a girl you meet on a more casual basis. Unlike in every other scenario, you kind of need to let her take the lead. Don't go any further than she's gone. Don't flirt unless she flirts. Don't be physical unless she starts it. Basically the only thing you …

I think it depends on the circumstance. If you haven't made plans yet and she's making excuses about why she can't meet up, I'll say something like "all good lol" or "cool next time then" and stop messaging her. If you actually have made plans and she flakes or ditches you without advanced notice, that's actually rude and she deserves a small amount of talking-to. A small amount though, I wouldn't go too far to seem offended.

I never try to convince people of my views using evolutionary theory or "it's in our nature" type arguments. I find that most who do apply the theories poorly, like they were first year anthropology students. Taking such a tactic implies that you are trying to convince another of the "truth." But truth is a malleable concept and even if one could establish that TRP reflects the"truth" of human psychology and behavior, it doesn't automatically follow that one should live according to those princi…

Yes. Educated girls who have the discipline to make it to a good school and do well make the best wives, if that's what you're looking for. It's good if she's a little nerdy too, probably means she's smart enough to know it's a bad idea to slut around if she wants to catch a quality man.

From the comments, I'm sure you guys will enjoy this one: "He is imperfect, and I love him." Many women feel they have to compromise on a man's attractiveness when settling down and marrying. Its not our fault. We become used to having casual sex with handsome, tall, sexy, exciting guys. Attractive men are so easily available when we want to have sex. But when we want commitment and marriage, those same attractive, sexy guys are often not available. Many of us therefore have to consider average …

Some TRPers are very bitter towards women and society. I think that the worst examples are the guys who bitch and moan about feminism more than Rush Limbaugh. I think the "right" way to TRP is to be completely without anger or bitterness or politics. We're not here to change the world nor should we care to. We're here to understand the world, embrace it, and play the game to our advantage. Being angry about things will only undercut that. Why should I care about how badly feminism is ruining men…

This theory only explains part of the story. The alpha's children, with no father to take care of them, are more likely to die before they come of age. In terms of spreading DNA, it doesn't matter how many children you have. What matters is the number of your children who make it to the age where they can have children themselves. Whether it's "betas" or "alphas" who have more success depends on constantly changing environmental factors. It's a little ridiculous to justify TRP thinking with evol…

Some people here do say misogynistic things and seem extremely bitter. Also, reality is ugly. When you break things down to "men want beauty, women want alphas," those who don't fit the mold are going to want to resist the truth.

This is a weird question to me, it doesn't seem like it really matters what you say. I'm having a hard time coming up with a hypothetical "wrong" answer or "wrong" underlying intent to portray. I would probably just give an honest answer. It probably would have been "eh, she's all right" since I'm generally not attracted to the type of girls that other girls typically find attractive. I like to demonstrate that I'm attracted to girls of a different "type" than the one I'm interested in. For example, if I'm interested in an Asian girl, I might emphasize that I'm attracted to white girls. If she has a skinny/thin body type, I like to point out all the curvy girls that I think are really hot. If she's a career-oriented girl, I might drop subtle hints about being more interested in the housewifey type. This can be effective in two different ways. For one, it might make her "work"…

Honestly, every subreddit besides this one seems to be absolutely terrible with women. Have you guys seen all the frontpage memes bitching about the friend zone, or how frustrated they are with mixed signals from women, or whining when their girlfriends cheat on them with "scumbags" despite their waiting on her hand and foot? Makes me cringe.

Thanks and you're right, I need to reframe my mindset and thinking. I've been working on myself the past month or two and making good progress. Visiting this subreddit has been a big part of that. "Oneitis" shouldn't be something to be ashamed of. It's just that you shouldn't let it stop it from pursuing other women. FWIW, two years ago a girl broke my heart. I've dated a decent number of other women since then but I still think of her literally every day. It's fuckin unhealthy. But all I can really do is keep going until I find somebody who can make me forget her.
/r/seduction05/09/13 02:18 AM

This is nothing to worry about. Sometimes it's even kind of a good thing to forget her name, especially if she's attractive. It's kind of like a subtle neg.
/r/seduction05/09/13 01:43 AM
1

Dunno if this is exactly a "neg" but treating her like a little girl can work really well, most girls have at least a little bit of an Electra complex. If you say stuff that accuses her of being childish or immature (but important to keep it friendly and funny) she'll almost always eat that shit up.

It's amazing how well being honest works. If you're questioned about something you're insecure about, own it! It can be very hard to bullshit your way out of situations, and if you get caught you're basically done. Owning up to your flaws can be very attractive as long as you stay confident and secure.

Ask her if she wants to go "check out" your dorm room. I always say it in a way where the meaning's obvious. A lot of times even if they say no, they'll still be interested but won't be able to because of their friends or whatever, which might just mean rescheduling.

I think it's better to wait. Doesn't hurt to let her wonder for a bit if you want to go out with her again.

The problem is, what are you gonna say? She completely ignored your invitation, not even having the decency to tell you no. If you invite her out again that just looks pathetic. If you ask her why she didn't reply, it looks needy. If you just start a convo that could work but you're basically letting her get away with ignoring you. There's little to no chance she just didn't receive your message, that's not how phones work. Also, if you wait, it gives her a chance to be the one reaching out. Isn…

Hah, this same thing happened to me. I would flirt with any girl, even the ones I wasn't remotely attracted to, just for the fun of it. And it IS fun, right? I decided to tone it down a bit though since it can look bad to be seen as somebody who just flirts with everyone. Okcupid data doesn't really apply to real life approaches in my experience. On OKC I get rejected all the time by girls who are worse looking or equivalent to what I get in real life. I think the reason for that is that it's a lot harder to demonstrate confidence and value through a profile and a single initial message than it is in real life. The girls are working with a lot less data than they would get in real life so the selection process differs significantly. Or I'm ugly :(

I do the same thing and it totally works. IME it's important to always be giving off a vibe that you're mostly joking. Leave a little chance that you're actually that much of a cocky asshole because it's more compelling to them that way. To be honest, you probably are an asshole already, most guys are assholes deep down, they just hide it to themselves. It's more fun that way too. I've been in similar situations before although I never handled it that badly at the end. Your problem is probably that you're caring too much about the outcome, and conveying that through your messages. Try asking fewer questions and just make statements that put the ball in her court. And don't put more effort into the conversation than she does, although as a man it's often going to be your job to initiate. A bit of playful pushing/shoving works pretty well. With the right kind of girl sometimes this will escalate to the two of you literally slapping each other in the face while you're throwing her around in bed.
/r/seduction27/08/13 04:17 AM

Why is it difficult? If you're kissing her, it's natural that the kissing gets more intense as you go. And as your kissing gets more intense, it's natural that your hands start to roam around her body. And as your hands are roaming around her body, it's natural that they start moving under her clothes, maybe trying to pull them off a bit. I mean, aren't these the things you WANT to do when you're making out with a girl? Shouldn't you be doing the things you want to do? If she stops you, you need…

How do you feel when you watch somebody cold approach a girl? Most of the time, as long as the guy is reasonably socially normal, I respect him for having balls even if he gets shot down. It sounds like you did quite well in the example you gave. You met a bunch of girls and convinced one of them to go back to your place with you. That's a success. The problem is, from the women ive dated (generally quite shy women), it tends to be me that has to restart the conversation so what ends up happening is I know everything about them, but they know very little about me. This is the wrong way to think about it. Women want to get to know you on an emotional level. When you talk to them, it shouldn't be just you spitting your bio out like a verbal resume. It's about the way you make HER feel when she talks to you. If she's answering your questions …

The answer depends entirely on context. If it's been obvious that you're interested in her and you've been flirting with her already, then her complaining about her boyfriend to you is probably a hint that she'll be at least a little receptive to your advances. If you've been in a friends relationship with her then it's more likely that you're in "the friendzone." But even then, if she perceives you as "high value," it could also be a hint to you that you should pursue. It's impossible for us to…

I agree that you shouldn't bother, but if you absolutely have to do it, be as subtle about it as possible. It would be pretty weird if you just did a complete 180 in your behavior towards her with the obvious intention of trying to pick her up. Trying to pick women up works soooo much better if you establish from the very beginning that you're trying to get with her.

If a girl is making a lot of eye contact, she's probably interested in you. But the opposite isn't necessarily true. Just made out with a girl tonight who kept avoiding looking at me in the eye the whole night. I think she was just nervous.

Who cares about this shit? Scales are dumb. Just go for what you want, you don't need to think about it so much.

Agree with this, although the same caveat applies to me. Asking her so whether she has a boyfriend, especially so quickly, sounds desperate and it also gives her an excuse to reject you immediately. You should at least give her a few seconds or minutes to develop attraction to you before asking something that REQUIRES her to either reject/accept you.

Stand up for yourself, it's okay to act a little offended if that's what you feel, challenge her on her opinions, but above all of this make sure you are completely unperturbed. I would probably call her out on being rude too. It depends on the context though. If she's making fun of it in a more jokey way, I probably wouldn't be offended and just go with the joke, either turning it on her or amplifying, I dunno.

It kind of sounds like you're fishing for compliments here. Like a hot girl who posts on Facebook complaining that she's having a bad hair day while posting a picture of herself looking hot. You got the result you wanted even if you weren't as smooth as you wanted to be. Calling this a "fuck up" or "my worst approach ever" is honestly kind of an insult to the people here who are still working on their game and would love to have done something similar.

I know how that feels. When you start running out of things to say and your brain kind of just goes into evacuation mode. That will naturally disappear with time, good job on making the approach.

The old PUA material was really helpful to me when I first started out about 8 years ago. It helped turn me from a super socially anxious nerdy guy into somebody who was fairly confident with women. I never did get over my AA though. I didn't have to, since for a while I had school or jobs that made it very easy to meet women. And despite my terrible AA, I'm actually pretty awesome at getting girls to like me when I spent a lot of time with them in social circles or one-on-one. A lot of that suc…

Those Asian girls sound pretty self-hating. Those type of girls will often have a wakeup moment when they realize that, despite their best efforts to fit in with white culture by rejecting their own, they'll never be truly seen as "white." They'll feel regret, and either they'll change their attitude in the opposite direction, or go even harder in the same direction.

Yep, assuming attraction is the best way to go. It's honestly never failed me. Not because I'm always correct, but I'm correct more often than not. And when I'm wrong I don't let it become a problem by being all awkward about it. Also, by assuming attraction, you'll automatically start acting in a way that makes you more attractive.

Well in this specific example you should have moved on, the other replies explained it already. In other situations, if a girl if flirting hard with you and later when you try to escalate she drops the boyfriend line, you might still be able to push through with some persistence. The idea being that if she's flirting that much with you, she's not really that serious about the boyfriend and will jump ship if you give her a good enough reason. That said, it's not exactly the most ethical thing to …

You seem awesome at the approach so kudos on that. I'm hoping to be at a similar level someday. That said, I think your problem with chemistry is highlighted by this line: "I've experimented with various levels of physicality, but since most of them I meet online it's hard to kino them in the first couple hours, I usually try to kiss them at the end of the date though this rarely works and some have commented that it put them on the spot and freaked them out." This implies to me that you're bein…

Is this information available in text form? Hate having to spend an hour watching a video when I could read all the information in a quarter of the time.
