It said you are going to be going through changes and your partner may not understand so explain what you are doing or better have them read the book. Thanks for your ideas. I like how you do your OYS, I may crib your format.

Makes sense. Why does the NMMNG book say to tell your partner all this shit then?

My first post here to start owning my shit. Took a long weekend from my wife and son and visiting my family back home. My relationship with my father & step-mother is dysfunctional. This weekend I really watched my father and realized he isn't what I thought he was, some negatives are not all that bad and some positives are not all that great. I read all of NMMNG on the plane home and ticked all the boxes. I need to re-read it and start putting it into action. Text from wife when I get to my tra…

Understood. My military time is a joke to guys like you. 10 years Navy, never been on a ship, mostly did my time on Army bases in the aircon sitting in front of a computer for 12 hours with cans on. I get your point and already acting on it.

Unless you were air force, you should already know about lifting Ha! I was navy and didn't learn a damn thing about lifting or exercise in the 10 years I was in. Half the time we didn't even have to PT I get the rest of what you are saying though.

that last part about be attractive is hard, my self esteem is in the shitter and she knows it. I can't remember a time I felt attractive and know how to put out an air of attractiveness to others. I hoped the lifting would have helped. I need to just go harder at it and realize it won't be overnight.

To get my life back together and get my marriage back on track.

the only thing I know I have to do is continue lifting to get into better shape to be more attractive, clean up my clothes and the way I look. Follow the guides at MRP and read the books. If there is more to it than that then I hope it shows itself along the way.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
