I have been considering getting on a TEST supplementation program. My fear is the shutting down of my natural production. Coupled with some unforeseen situation that forces me off the prescribed TEST. And yes, you feel like a million bucks on TEST, in my experience anyway. But I was only on it for a 6 weeks.

Thank you for the clarification. I have started trying to stretch more in general as my flexibility is pathetically bad. And obviously lifting weights reduces your flexibility if not countered with lots of stretching which I tended to never do.

How long have you been doing these? Have you found that they helped you add muscle?

Do you find doing lots of flys builds hypertrophy the best for chest? I have slowly begun to do more and more flys. But coming off a rotator cuff tear I am not sure if my chest is getting better from this or the bench pressing. Took me a full year to get back to being able to do my chest fully. One of my absolute new favorite chest exercises is using the seated cable bench ( on a machine designed for only this exercise ), but I do only one arm and press crossword at about 45 degrees. Like a comb…

Well you have done a damn good job man. Those are impressive numbers. I do live in a city in which I could do so. I just spent the $ on a personal trainer for that reason though. Earlier on the bad form thing I was getting at a story I forgot to throw in. True story. Watching a couple younger dudes record each other. Guy had I believe 3 plates , maybe 4 on the squat rack. Looked to be 165 lbs young lad. I thought for sure I was going to witness a horrific injury. He unracks the weight, squats a …

Hey man, concern for the shoulders would of saved my dumbass. I was always so weak in bench. When I actually started getting up there in weight (most I ever did was 275 actual weight) I started messing up my shoulder. And to only get a few reps from that weight....of course at the time I would do ZERO warm up for my shoulders, and a laughable warm up for my chest.

In ways the "easy beginner gains" are some of the hardest gains. Physically, yes, you're getting a lot of bang for your buck showing your muscles any much deserved love. But mentally, for many, its one of the harder phases. The gains don't just show up over night, so you have to stick it out for a month to see things starting. If you have little to no experience in the weight room it can be intimidating/overwhelming for some. So on. Basically that was a long winded "don't devalue, or dismiss tho…

I def need to learn to articulate myself better. I am not judging an olympic lifting even by any means. That being said, understanding the finer points of form is worthwhile. Like you said above " hook grip will def pay off." This could of saved me many many under utilized hours.

If I recall there was something in the reading to the effect of " make your accomplishments look effortless." But exactly as you said. They don't care about anything but the final product .

You sound like me, your body type. Gaining muscle requires a surplus of calories. Hard to gain muscle if you're training to run a marathon. But the marathon runner is probably in much better health.

I want to add or recommend a youtube channel called " buff dudes." They cover every aspect of lifting and their advice for the most part is right on. What to do, not to do, how not to do it, ect. I feel obligated to comment as I just did a FR, and the gym was the catalyst that helped make the FR possible. I really like your section on problems. Gents, we have all been guilty of poor form, or ego lifting (lifting above our capabilities with proper form.) Sometimes poor form is just because of lac…

To be honest, I was lead here because of some of the above mentioned behavior. My relationship was getting rockier and rockier. I stumbled upon TRP. It all made sense and it all made me want to shut my CPU and shake my head. Of course that strategy gets you further down the creak.

I don't know how to do quotes (pretty new to posting on reddit). Maybe I should edit my OP, I don't think the teller was all " man look at Mr. hotcakes over there, call him over here in a quick hurry." But like you said, it doesn't REALLY matter, it had the same effect/affect (always get them confused) on my gf.

Everyone is someone you don't want to fight with in todays world. Unless its to protect yourself or your family from immediate harm. Even when you win a fight, you still lose. People sue, people call the police, etc. Many people in prison for arguably justifiable fights. Guy gets knocked out and hits his head and dies etc etc. Don't poor your valuable energy into fighting people. At best you get a little pride out of it. At worst, you ruin your life. I had a friend, he was a tough dude. Got in a…

You may have codependent tendencies, or maybe you don't. Google it and take a quick assessment test. TRP for me is about embracing your masculinity, being the best YOU, a theory, lifestyle, and a supporting community helping us understand ourselves and women. It is natural of course to morn the loss of something that is unique and special to you. Some people here will be morning for all of 10 seconds, some maybe longer. A month for every year in a relationship is a general yardstick. Long story …

Well TBH, these "tests" started happening a few years into the relationship. Some behavioral changes as well. I consulted the internet as I felt it to be a trend with the common denominator being myself. This lead me to TRP. We have been together for 5 years. Your opening statement is dead on. Perhaps I need to look into my own choices more analytically.

I believe I read it, although that may not have been particular to LTR. Either way, I clearly need to read it again. Thank you . UPDATE: Googled the 12 levels of dread for LTR. I had read through them briefly and am going to now spend some time going through and applying the steps. Starting with number one.

Both work for me and my personality. Its never about someone hitting on her, its always some shit like "we all love WHO CARES pilates teacher. Random celeb chick was flirting with him. Im going to say and make some generalizations here (which can be dangerous) that most (closer to all) women whom work in the sex trade voluntarily have some sort of mental health issue and issues in particular with men. Not passing judgement, not saying its good or bad. But it makes relationships very difficult. She chose to do these things. Calling someone manipulative is most likely an excuse, a way of not taking responsibility. Is it possible they didn't have actual intercourse? Absolutely. T…

Possible minimal effect if are spanking it a mere minutes before lifting. Not sure how long you have been lifting, but one of the most important things is listening to your body. If you feel depleted afterwards when hitting the gym then wait for your happy time until after.

Don't know how to use quotes yet, but in response to " IF YOUR ANGER IS FUNNELED IN SUCH A WAY IT CLEAR YOUR ANGER IS ABOUT DISRESPECT " Yes, this is exactly my issue. I feel like it is disrespectful. How would one go about "condition this shit to go away"?

I do believe this to be correct. But my concern is that she is disrespecting me by doing this, and that is increasing. Truth be told, that sht pisses me the fk off, and before would react STRONGLY. One thing I love about this little community is being able to spitball, or just get sht off your chest with like minded people. Most importantly, people that don't BS you, give it to you straight.

I work in a club where we do...bottle service. Spent many times with one of the club owners at the most exclusive clubs in LA, and he always tipped way to much. 5 grand on a table, sure. Every fucking time I would ask the little biatch for a fucking beer and they would look at me like they had to go to china to get the thing. To the op, I am new to TRP, and can't give you good advice. to be fair, club scene has never been my thing.

This story reminds me of being a kid. When I was in the 4th grade an older kid 6th grader sucker punched me because he thought I threw his shirt in the garbage. I was scared as he had his friends with him and i didn't want to get my ass whooped. Went home with a big red mark on my face and my dad asked me wtf happened to my face. I was you, I weighed in at 135 5'10 leaving high school. I pushed that up to 145-150 in my early 20's lifting hard and naively fumbling my way through. Happened to work with a world class pro body builder right around this time. I was eating so far below the amount of calories I thought I needed, and proper calories. I know weight 185 and am in good shape. The thing about going to the gym is, no one cares. There will always be guys stronger than you or whatever. Its a personal choice and commitm…

Sorry to hear that man. Take it easy, stretch those hamstrings and warm up (in the opposite order). I will never have shoulders like I used to. Don't be a dumbass like me. I used to always read the cautionary tales and think "not me."

I was honestly happy with my physique at the time. A lot is wrong with me, far to much to cover in one post. What would someone (hypothetically speaking of course) take with var? I am aware many stack with test, just curious on your thoughts (hypothetically of course).

WTF, what are you doing for your traps?! They are massive!!! (seriously, whats your trap work look like?) I am envious, I wrote a long rambling post about taking care of your shoulders so you don't tear something like I did. Cant develop my shoulders like that probably ever again.

The answer to your question is steroids. Those 3-5 guys that are " MAN.....waht the FUCK is he running?!"" Steroids, lots of steroids. I am not saying it in a judgmental way. I have used anavar (a fairly mild steroid ( and I shot past my plateaus and was at a point in which I didn't want to get any bigger)).

NEW OR SEASONED IN LIFTING, a word of caution. (skip to the bottom if the backstory is no interest) I have lifted on and off over the years. Recently was in the worst shape of my life. After a few comments from my gf and friends watching TV stars about " guys like that (referring to built guy)....." I said F*&k this and went back to the gym. I was lucky because we all have muscle memory. My muscle was coming back at an astounding rate, I was eating spot on. Lots of very lean meat, egg whites, an…

I am new to this(RP), but felt compelled to reply. Was in decent shape when I started my LTR. Prior to I was chiseled. Well, one day I got sick of hearing her and her friends rave about how women throw themselves at men that "look like that." "Don't get jealous...blah blah." The message was clear and painful. I didn't get jealous, I went back to the gym. Started crushing weights and eating right. And guess what..... " Why are you lifting weights, are you doing that for other women....ect etc ...…

Im going to jump in here. Recently found this TRP, and it motivated me to get back in the gym. Had the luxury of working with a world class body builder who took my 150lb ass to 180lbs of muscle. As some have said, building your traps will help. I will try to keep this short and somewhat meaningful. Seated dumbbell shoulder press 3 sets @ 8-12 reps. Side lateral raise 2-3 sets @ 12 reps. Bent over lateral raise 2-3 sets @ 12 reps. Shrugs 3 sets @ 12 reps. Face pulls 3 sets @ 12 reps. There is a …

I am in a LTR for about 4 years, RP just taken. Frame needs major restoration. Obvious to anyone 2 month breakup is no bueno for a hang out. My situation is her ex from 10 years back that is "a friend" even though he clearly wishes more. How does one respond, if at all? Is a decade past enough to claim such things? I say : no kids, and more interest than platonic friendship, means fuck that.

Mighty, new to RP and trying to get my shit to together before its to late. Really like the way you broke it down. I am in a 4 year LTR with someone who has an ex from near a decade ago. She considers them friends, I consider no one a friend that wants more from you. The question is, is this a shit test? I am not sure how to convey the "thats bs" properly without sabotaging myself or the relationship. Any input appreciated.

I would liken it more to a kid finding out santa is not real. And as an adult its much worse because of the sunk costs. More like if you had gone to college, tried your ass of and graduated. Only to find out at some point the university you went to present fiction as fact. An opportunity to prevent future mistakes (depending on age). Bittersweet.

I was very depressed, even in denial. What lead me here was realizing something was not right in a 4+ year LTR with the woman I want to marry. Google turned me onto articles written in psychology today. That pretty much is RP theory and about women in LTR. Im with you. Summed up "ignorance is bliss." I do believe it possible to have LTR without cheating. But one needs to keep the attraction high and the comfort high. Or as the the Greeks believed, Eros and Agape. If every woman and every man was…

Looks like a win win to me. You succeed and get laid, as you are hoping for from the way you talk. You get rejected for your body (highly unlikely at this point) and the sting will probably motivate you to get in the shape you think will make you fell better.

I appreciate it. All of this is very new for me. I have read that at times things are not a shit test. And maybe what is being said has merit. As far as you question on the babies motive. She has said that she wants to have a child (w/ me) and get married and so on. I have expressed the same value. So I do not think that is it. A question from earlier was dealing with her ex or men in general that have anterior motive. My opinion being wolves in sheep's clothing. They are not "friends" in which …

I am clearly not very good at communicating, because I have many more questions than that. Second, if a girl is simply going to "branch swing" to the next best option, a LTR is impossible. There will always be a better option, even if you were once the perfect option. I appreciate your input.
