GF has started getting violent on me. I left her today after she beat me. Peoples reactions have been insaneI think you should confront your parents about what they said. And then confront people you think of as good friends about how their perception is skewed. If they don't come round, then sever the relationship because they lack the ability to see things from another point of view. Your parents, if they hold love for you will understand eventually. It's no use taking other poster's advice and just cutting people out - to change society a little you have to tell them why you've cut them out. | /r/MensRights | 08/02/15 01:19 PM
Meninism is about women too (why there is no need for a female rights movement)No, it was about improving the rights for women where they were deficient to men's, which were of course neccessary, but unfortunately as a result of only focusing on women's rights it ignored the situations where men had fewer rights compared to women. | /r/MensRights | 07/02/15 03:28 PM
I want a penny for each time this happens worldwideWe also need more men to actually call women out on this shit so they don't become conditioned to accept it as normal from previous relationships. | /r/MensRights | 19/12/10 02:40 PM
Why I left /TwoXChromosomes and r/MensRights/Oh, shut up. Sarcasm is hard to communicate in text, even if you use italics for emphasis and overuse question marks and exclamation marks for mock surprise. And there's no need for that condescending tone, not to mention join date elitism... EDIT: At least you deleted your other comment :P | /r/MensRights | 11/11/10 02:35 AM
Why I left /TwoXChromosomes and r/MensRights/Click "My Reddits" in the top right corner, then "Edit subscriptions". You can add many other subreddits to the front page, by clicking +frontpage and remove them with -frontpage. I'm sure /r/MensRights isn't default so you should already know about the wide range of subreddits out there. | /r/MensRights | 10/11/10 09:56 PM
Mensrights: "It was created in opposition to feminism." Why does men's rights have to be in opposition to feminism? What about equal rights for all?I don't know how many people will see this, but there is an equality subreddit, with nowhere near as many subscribers as this one. | /r/MensRights | 17/10/10 12:00 AM
When teenage boys write software, its useless to society and also a "sad activity". But look out! A 16 y/o GIRL just wrote some software and apparently it's the first time in the history of the world that anyone this age did anything useful with software! (xpost from programming)I was talking about my entire degree programme. I'd say by final year the ratio was about the same (maybe a little closer to 70-30) but the number of students left was a lot smaller (from ~250 to ~75) after the 1st year. Many of the girls left were hardworking/intelligent but not interested in the field, so ended up doing well but going off to jobs in other sectors. | /r/MensRights | 01/10/10 04:20 PM

A 16 y/o GIRL just wrote some software and apparently it's the first time in the history of the world that anyone this age did anything useful with software! (xpost from programming)From your Wikipedia link to larger brains: Female brains are more compact than male brains in that, though smaller, they are more densely packed with neurons Sure, men have larger muscles than women, but that's irrelevant here and already considered where it is relevant: sports have separate men and women's events. Women can also become stronger without increasing the size of their muscles, just the density. On topic, if more women wanted to become programmers they would be capable of it. A 16 y/o GIRL just wrote some software and apparently it's the first time in the history of the world that anyone this age did anything useful with software! (xpost from programming)Not really, my CS course had a lot of girls. I'd say it was a 60-40 split. Okay, so 80% of the girls really had no clue (but the same was true for the guys there too) but the girls who actually knew their stuff were still subjected to a condescending attitude from everyone else. Which is sad, because some of these girls were incredibly capable, and despite their treatment there was always one or two people trying to copy them the day before an assignment was due. The way this article attempts to… | /r/MensRights | 01/10/10 02:31 PM |
