3	GF has started getting violent on me. I left her today after she beat me. Peoples reactions have been insane I think you should confront your parents about what they said. And then confront people you think of as good friends about how their perception is skewed. If they don't come round, then sever the relationship because they lack the ability to see things from another point of view. Your parents, if they hold love for you will understand eventually. 2	Why I left /TwoXChromosomes and r/MensRights/ Click "My Reddits" in the top right corner, then "Edit subscriptions". You can add many other subreddits to the front page, by clicking +frontpage and remove them with -frontpage. A 16 y/o GIRL just wrote some software and apparently it's the first time in the history of the world that anyone this age did anything useful with software! (xpost from programming) I was talking about my entire degree programme. I'd say by final year the ratio was about the same (maybe a little closer to 70-30) but the number of students left was a lot smaller (from ~250 to ~75) after the 1st year. Many of the girls left were hardworking/intelligent but not interested in the field, so ended up doing well but going off to jobs in other sectors.	/r/MensRights	01/10/10 04:20 PM

Okay, so 80% of the girls really had no clue (but the same was true for the guys there too) but the girls who actually knew their stuff were still subjected to a condescending attitude from everyone else.
