Gotta admit, I was disappointed that I couldn't find anything higher to make my point...

93% of prison inmates are men. Toxic masculinity! 37.6% of prison inmates are black. Racism! Police harassment!

Like any bully, when someone fights back, they immediately cry and pretend to be the victim.

Gotta hand it to Africa - they do know how to enforce justice. Another case I really like was when they arrested a gang who had kidnapped & tortured an old man for money. They tied up all the kidnappers and shot them in the balls. Top notch policing. http://saharareporters.com/2017/12/22/why-we-shot-suspected-kidnappers-their-genitals-%E2%80%94-nigerian-police

If society progresses like this, we will soon be at a stage where it will be completely legal for a woman to kill her husband (ie. like a bizarre extreme opposite version of Sharia).

Women already have equal rights. Modern feminism is an abomination.

Yes, that's true, although I suspect that as thieves become more and more aware of the impotence of actual security guards, in the future they will become much less of a deterrent.

the actions of the security guards are certainly violent and she's not being violent towards them. the security guards' actions are not self defence. Sure, but it looks to me like she was trying to escape, so they had to detain her using force. If they had just let her walk and called the police, obviously nothing would have come of it, and she would have been able to break the law with impunity. If people don't want to be detained forcefully, they do have the option of "not running away and try…

It's funny how feminists are so concerned about the 'gender pay gap' and not the 'gender prison gap'.

No, what I'm saying is that instead of hiring a security guard, the store could save money by hiring an additional 'general retail worker' and then just assign them the job of standing around doing what the security guard does. There's literally no reason to pay for a security guard if you can hire an extra general staff member cheaper and then assign them the job of guarding the merchandise and calling the police if they witness theft.

Not to mention the overall increase in train fares for all the honest passengers to cover the expense of her continued theft.

It doesn't make any sense, though - why pay $20/hour for a trained security guard who can't do anything when you could pay $12/hour for another ordinary shelf-stacker? The shelf-stacker can still call the cops, just like the security guard can. It literally makes no sense to have a guard there if they will only do what any other staff member would do in the same situation.

Apparently, all 4 guards were fired, and the thief was gifted a $1,000 free rail pass as 'compensation'. The modern legal system is designed to subtly encourage crime and mayhem. Why? Because the authorities know that an unsafe and chaotic society will keep populations fearful and dependent. The last thing they want is a harmonious society - then, many government bodies would have no excuse for existing. Government is fundamentally opposed to your safety and security.

It makes no sense though - why even have security when you could just call the police yourself?
/r/PussyPassDenied04/03/19 09:24 PM

And all the other passengers will have to pay higher fees for train tickets in order to cover for all the theft which will occur.

Maybe she should just pay her fare like everyone else?

I thought citizen's arrest was a thing? Obviously, you can't just go locking somebody up for no reason, but if it's justified I thought it was legal to detain people?
/r/PussyPassDenied04/03/19 09:18 PM

But how are they supposed to deter theft if they can't detain people who do it???

I think the feminists are already at peak retardation. I know loads of women who are sick of them. I can't see their movement getting any stronger in the near future.

This is the reason why 'male privilege' (if there even is such a thing) is entirely justified. Men are held much more accountable for their actions than women are. Greater accountability should entail greater privilege.

10 things to do if you think your woman is cheating: 1) Knock out her front teeth. 2) Put sulfuric acid in her shampoo. 3) Put razor blades in her stilettos. 4) Throw her cat into a wood chipper. 5) Use a claw hammer to give her a pedicure. 6) Call her at work 10 times every day until she gets fired. 7) Put caustic soda on her tampons. ... Any others?

Ouch. Sorry to hear about all this. Sadists are the worst. I've had to deal with a few myself. I've learned to be careful - many of the people who try to build friendships most enthusiastically are really just looking for someone to torture. Agree that the only way to deal with it is to cut off all contact.

Eh... I think maybe you're missing his point. I agree that 'lift=solution' is a somewhat simplistic attitude, but the psychological benefits of strength training and fitness contribute towards resilience, which I think is more what he was saying. I don't think he was saying that having big muscles will intimidate everyone into treating you with respect.

I'm interested in your point about you vs. your intimidating friend both being targeted differently. I think that, to an extent, if people see someone who appears too alpha, they want to try to bring that person down to their level and 'reduce' him. They see a strong person as a threat to their own status, so they try to undermine his ego.

This post just fills me with despair. Imagine being the father, knowing that you have to surrender your child into the clutches of this evil witch regularly, not knowing what horrible things this bitch will do to your little girl. And the courts absolutely will not help you. It's no wonder some men go off the rails and turn to violence.

When the hitman Mike on Breaking Bad was arrested, every time the cops asked him a question, he responded with a single word: "Lawyer." "Lawyer." "Lawyer." I thought that was a good approach.

This is true - BLM is a socialist/marxist movement which only cares about undermining LEO because they represent tools of the 'oppressive hierarchy'. They aren't actually interested in the welfare of black people.

This will always be the case in some situations. Managing your reactions is the key. This is excellent advice. Since you can never perfectly control social situations, they will occasionally turn against you. Hence, negative situations are unavoidable. The important thing is to react well.
