Yes, it is discrimination no denying that. But letting things naturally happen will yield 5-10% women representation. Things are not going to solve by themselves, so Govt should put its foot down and solve this particular issue. Merit is not important here, representation is fare more important definitely for elected representatives.

Agree with most points to a degree, except parliament one. The direct democratic institution is not supposed to be 'meritocratic', it must and should be representative and thus even 50% reservation in that regard is fine.

Having it easy on dating sites != Having it easy while dating. Dating sites are scams the moment ratio between the genders 2:3... In real life it is 1:4 to 1:5 Just watch that video and run the math from link in its description. It cleared the misconceptions I had, just like you do now.

That doesn't mean shit, mathematically even if the ratio between men and women 2:1 like ratio falls by 5 times. There was a video by 'Memeable Data' on YT and all they did was some basic math and results got abysmal, they didn't even have to include the psychological factors(which they did later and it was crazy).
