Good question. Obviously its subjective. 6th street is good for volume. Open a lot of sets and just roll off if it doesn't hit. I prefer to open on the street rather than in the bar, then pull to a bar you like to escalate. The challenge is the bars are extremely loud and cramped and you can get split up easily. Then you have West 6th which is a little older crowd late 20s to 30s. But lots of fun places to hang. My open/close ratio is higher here. Far east 6th across i35, this is more the hipste…

Austin dude. Im an actual local. And the scene here just gets better and better. There is a never ending supply of new girls coming here. They don't know anyone and are looking to make memories. The nightlife and music scene are world class.

I'm not trying it. I do this and it goes well. I am not going to 100% cold read either. I say it once I'm reasonably sure they aren't from here. FYI. 6th st is fine, numbers are there. But there are many more spots with higher quality sets and better ratios. Depends on your type of game.
