Good question. Obviously its subjective.

6th street is good for volume. Open a lot of sets and just roll off if it doesn't hit. I prefer to open on the street rather than in the bar, then pull to a bar you like to escalate. The challenge is the bars are extremely loud and cramped and you can get split up easily.

Then you have West 6th which is a little older crowd late 20s to 30s. But lots of fun places to hang. My open/close ratio is higher here.

Far east 6th across i35, this is more the hipster/music crowd if you like unique and quarky.

Rainey St, tend to have college aged girls that are a bit higher quality. You can open at these bars as their is often an area to sit and talk or even bar games that help build comfort and rapport. These places often have pretty long lines and you cut off for the rest if the downtown bar scene.

DOMAIN. Now this is probably my favorite scene. High quality girls, good bars, rock rose/ rooftop 77 is going to be the honey hole. Its a dance club with a rooftop lounge. Everything is basically a couple blocks. Its just nicer in every way.

I could go on and on about all the spots but maybe ill save that for its own post
