That's a confusing question. Maybe Im competing with them for both self approval and approval from women. Which sounds crazy when I look at it from more of a neutral point.

Women that Im trying to date.

Thank you for your patience and all the thorough answers! I do apreciate your time and effort A LOT. One last question - but why woman would not leave me for someone better looking? I mean, it must be tempting to just go for someone better instead of sticking with the same person, right?
/r/ExRedPill12/02/23 11:49 PM

As a matter of fact, Im not competing for anyone who could potentially be "top 10%". Because I feel that personality/connection is far more important for me than just looks. Obviously, you want to find that special person attractive or cute, but by no means they have to be "model or top 10%" looking. What was so inspiring about his passion for life? And why my insecurity makes me so unattractive?

Thought provoking question. Maybe some external approval?

In this specific context, Im competing to date. I hope that I make sense.

I'm judging myself here :( But I really do feel that it's too tough for me to "compete" with other men.

I do see it. I really do. I have two sisters and we talk a lot. So, I really understand where you're coming from. The fricking worst part is that people and even other women (neutral, not my sisters lol) say that Im good looking. But I don't see it. I can't see it. I think that for most of us dudes it's pretty much impossible to stand out. Unless we are insanelly good looking or charming.

I do bro. I even played professional sports at decent level before injuring myself year ago. But whatever I do, I still struggle with self-image if I compare myself to the best looking guys out there. And sometimes I feel envious of how easy they have it.

Being above average in looks department.

Who am I to judge specific standarts of each individual, right? And really, it even feels wrong to come here and vent about the things that other people prefer. But it still stings to know that you're not the one that women would be interested in. I agree with everything you said here. I really do and I see it. But I can't understand why a lady would want to stick with a regular dude who does all that, when she cane be with a "chad" (who is also functional and supportive).
/r/ExRedPill12/02/23 10:15 PM

A lot of them. And don't get me wrong, I think that women must have such standarts. It's just that I don't feel that I will ever reach them. Especially the "chad" standarts.

Thank you so much! (I know, I say it a lot here to you 🥲) Just one last question - how to recognise that I have plenty of things going on for me, without being narcissistic? Or self-absorbed person. But, honestly, it's a privilege having to read all of these amazing advices!

Once again, thank you for all of these thorough and insightfull replies! They really do help A LOT. I mean, sometimes self-acceptance is the hardest thing to do, when it come to things that we can't change :( And being a perfectionist does not help too, haha. But, honestly, thank you for the great ideas, when it comes to shifting attitude! And yo, I would not call myself large 😂 Well, maybe that's because Im 6'4 and around 200 pounds, so proportions looks different on me. Just a little secret th…

I mean, Im fully aware that this is kinda like the "ideal size", haha. However, Im just afraid to fall for a lady that might not be happy with it :( because I still think that for some people it could be not enough

Thank you for all of the thoughtfull responses! I really do appreciate them A LOT. Just one last question - would you want to have an Open Relationship? So, you would have the freedom to purse the people that you are attracted to, besides of your boyfriend. And Im not asking this question to prove a point or to develop any tension. Just genuinly curious here!
/r/ExRedPill05/02/23 07:11 PM
1

I completelly get your point. I really do. However, don't you think that even while being in a relationship with someone mature you would not be tempted by a younger energetic and good looking young man? :(
/r/ExRedPill05/02/23 06:49 PM
1

May I ask why is that? Not attacking. Just genuinly want to know.
/r/ExRedPill05/02/23 05:24 PM

Please don't think that Im trying to be sexist/mysogonistic here, but I think that a lot of the times ladies will have far more guys chasing them. So, I believe that the temptation to leave for someone younger/better could potentially be higher :(
/r/ExRedPill05/02/23 02:19 PM
1

I was refering to them wanting to have someone "in their prime". I know that I would 100% stay with my partner, regardless, as long as the connection is there!
/r/ExRedPill05/02/23 02:16 PM
4

I mean, Im 100% motivated to stay in great physical shape. However, I can't control the actions and thoughts of my potential partner. Not that I want to too. However, why would someone stay with me, when they could have someome younger "in their prime"? :(
/r/ExRedPill05/02/23 12:27 PM
0

I agree with everything that you said! I really do. However, I feel that in my 30's my sex appeal might be lower. And that my partner would be more sexually attracted to someone younger, instead of me :(
/r/ExRedPill05/02/23 12:22 PM
2

May I ask how come "wastimg my best years" is still a TRP concept? Im a dude and they claim that I will be in my prime in 30's, haha. But Im just genuinly curious how come you believe that Im still stuck in that mindset!
/r/ExRedPill05/02/23 11:58 AM
2

Fair enough! I appreciate your opinion and imput in this. I believe in what I believe in, since one of my friends (she is 34) is atrracted to guys from 18 to 27 years old of age. So, I kinda thought that maybe most of women will prefer this age group (in terms of physical looks) too.
/r/ExRedPill05/02/23 11:46 AM
3

I mean, maybe because the aging has not affected them guys that much. And may I ask what do you find attractive about older looking guy?
/r/ExRedPill05/02/23 11:38 AM
-2

Indeed. But I think that even women in their 30's or 40's could find guys of that age more visually appealing
/r/ExRedPill05/02/23 11:35 AM

It might be a big assumption, but I believe that a lot of women find men the most attractive (appearance vise) when they're like 21-25. I could be wrong tho. But that what it seems like :(
/r/ExRedPill05/02/23 11:00 AM

May I ask how come do you think that mid to late twenties is the ideal time? Just curious!
/r/ExRedPill05/02/23 10:42 AM
13

Honestly, it does not feel like that :( It feels that "I've wasted my best years" while being stuck in these bullshit ideologies
/r/ExRedPill05/02/23 10:19 AM

I don't want to argue as well. But I just felt that you were attacking me. And I assumed that this is a safe space to ask these "specific stupid questions"
/r/ExRedPill27/01/23 11:30 AM

Well, I wanted to know what people who identify WITH THIS SPECIFIC GENDER thinks about the issue. And I respect all the other gender identities, however, I feel that Im allowed to ask this question, if I feel like asking it, right? You are completelly entitled to your own opinions and views, which is absolutelly great. However, you assume that you know all the answers. And I don't like this arrogaance. And if you wonder why Im saying it - "This question has little to do with gender because the a…

Uhm, you're on r/exredpill, not r/askreddit. So, obviously, men like me here are confused and lost. That's why we ask specific "gender obsessed" questions here. It's like asking a patient at a mental institution why they talk about mental health with doctors.
/r/ExRedPill27/01/23 11:18 AM

You can't even fathom how much I love this comment
/r/ExRedPill26/01/23 05:50 PM

Very interesting statement here. And I want to ask this question, not in order to be an asshole, but because I genuinly care. So, may I ask how come it's "friend+fucking" instead of "someone hot+fucking"?
/r/ExRedPill26/01/23 02:51 PM

Just curious - what "looking out for somene" means in your book then?
/r/ExRedPill26/01/23 02:16 PM

It's going to take a while to listen to, but it 100% sounds interesting af!

Mine is Capricorn. You wanna go on a date? 😄
/r/ExRedPill24/10/22 04:13 PM

Holy shit. You actually made a lot of sense here. And Im not even trolling. The whole not being able to comprehend thing makes complete sense. There definitelly has to be A LOT more inner work to be done for me. And I thought, that I was beyond all of this RP stuff... :(
/r/ExRedPill05/10/22 03:31 PM

Why do you think so? I'm insecure about non-monogamy, yes. But I, honestly, personally value monogamy and connection a lot.
/r/ExRedPill05/10/22 03:15 PM
4

Exactly. Because, I personaly value monogamy way much more than random sex!
/r/ExRedPill05/10/22 02:40 PM
2

I agree. And it would be ignorant to even think otherwise. I guess that this whole Red Pill ideology had left some scars after all.
/r/ExRedPill05/10/22 02:38 PM
-4

Hmmmm, and why is it worse?
/r/ExRedPill05/10/22 02:12 PM
-3

I understand all these reasons. I trully do. But what if you would be with your monogamous partner and you would find another decent/good guy hot? And you would really hit it off? Don't you think that it would not be tempting to have an open-relationship? I'm not talking about some random creeps out of Tinder here tho.
/r/ExRedPill05/10/22 02:05 PM
-2

I agree with everything that you said here. However, I can't wrap my head around why any lady nowadays would want to just stay with only one good person, if she would find, for example 2nd or 3rd. It's not that religion prevents us from doing that these days.
/r/ExRedPill05/10/22 02:03 PM
1

Dude, that clearly some biased stuff that you're talking about here. I mean, it's Ex RP subreddit after all. And it seems that you're still deep into the cult.
/r/ExRedPill05/10/22 02:01 PM
-10

Or is it society that forces them to be? Including religion, marriage and etc?
/r/ExRedPill05/10/22 01:59 PM
-10

But it kinda is, don't you think so? Why would you like to be with one hot person, if you could have multiple of them? Especially if you know that you're loved by your main partner. Who and why would not want it, right?
/r/ExRedPill05/10/22 01:58 PM
-13

Because, you can easily have various partners then and experience more sexual gratification/fun times, rather than just settling for one person?
/r/ExRedPill05/10/22 01:27 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
