Better yourself, that's what TRP is about. It's not though. That's the problem. TRP values are all fucked up. If TRP took "attract females" out of it's vocabulary, then yea all of the self-help about dressing well and working out would be fine. But every ounce of self-improvement in TRP is leading toward one single goal, get laid. Meaning if that goal is not met then you've failed. If you failed your goal then why did you begin dressing well and lifting in the first place?

TRP is based on a core idea that women are your enemy and can't be trusted. If you truly believe this how can you possibly remain mentally sane in a committed relationship? You can't. It's not until you realize humans are extremely complex, both sexes have basic needs, and that being in a LTR means some degree of compromise. Applying dread and manipulating your spouse is just another form of abuse for insecure men to play out while they fantasize about being sexually attractive.

See a therapist. That is the only realistic advice anyone can give you. Everyone here watched, listened, or read TRP content and didn't stick electrical chords in their mouths. What you did has almost nothing to do with TRP and everything to do with some deep psychological issues that only a professional therapist or psychiatrist is suited to treat.

I don't understand what red pill and sticking electrical wires in your mouth have to do with each other.

Why don't you just wait until you have enough time, write your entire story, and post it. Also why would people be trying to track you?

This is great advice imo. OP just be a normal caring person. Do you actually like her, the way she looks, and who she is? Show her in whatever way (compliments, communication, gifts, taking time out of your day for her) that you want. To counter this, just keep doing you, be confident, have interests outside of her that you genuinely enjoy, and you'll avoid seeming try hard/forced and clingy.

Got it. Your thoughts are justified. If he's capable of treating you this way due to some indoctrination it's a sign that he probably has some serious self-confidence issues and probably doesn't know what a healthy relationship is supposed to look like. It's your call if you want to stick in and attempt to help him but ultimately if he doesn't come around you will be responsible for enabling a bad relationship with someone you know deep down isn't going to treat you right. I say all of this from…

So he is still a user then. Your post says he claimed not to be. How long have you been with him? Any kids?

Any specifics? Did these events lead you to ask or did he bring his red pill past up?

He said my happiness was higher than his though, so now it's his time. Yea that^ isn't normal, as you've noticed. I feel for your situation having just broke up with my spouse, no marriage or children I understand your situation is much more complicated. I would recommend couples therapy. At least getting in an outside perspective to shed some light on him. It sounds like he's so brainwashed there's no getting through. It's all driven by insecurity if that helps you understand it any better.

Yea that is strange given what you've said. Re your first sentence, have you told him that? That you're appreciative for everything he's done?

Yea that statement is kind of a weird way to describe someone you're in love with... it's worth looking at how you have been viewing the relationship and what part each of you have played in regards to providing material things. I'm sure his action, albeit not justified, spurred from feeling taken advantage of.

Human's are unbelievably complex and because of this we're always looking for explanations as to why, how, what etc. If you're impressionable and vulnerable you will latch onto any explanation that paints you as the victim and distills extremely complex biological, chemical, psychological, and sociological issues into acronyms and mantras. Couple this with an echo chamber and you're just eating up bullshit.

If there is a spectrum from 1 to 10 where: 1 = complete pushover guy who is borderline emotionally abused and manipulated by his partner and 10 = complete "chad" guy who has absolutely no concern outside of his own self interest and personal or sexual gain then TRP teaches anything close to or at 10 and wants you to believe that not doing that means you're at 1. In reality, a 5 is achievable. 5 = a guy with a spine, who stands up for himself, has confidence, self-worth and a healthy respect for …

It just means that we care deeply about each other but we both know for different reasons we can't or won't be able to make it work.

It's so true. TRP is literally just acting. It's all pretend. If you are actually a strong, secure, and confident man you don't ask internet strangers how to act in your relationship. It's extremely sad.

No don't tell her. It will lead her to look up what that means on her own and then she'll wonder how someone like you was capable of such batshit insane behavior and probably wonder what else you've done.

Be completely honest, as you were doing before. I'd address the issue again instead of avoiding it. Tell her if she wants to continue to see you it won't be as a boyfriend.
/r/askTRP12/08/16 10:14 PM

Was this the first time she's done this? I'd let it slide, could be she was having diarrhea or something you don't know. If it's a repeat thing then yea next.

This is such terrible terrible advice OP. If you suspect your SO of CHEATING then you confront her directly. TRP seems to have a hard time dealing with communication and viewing any communication as beta but this isn't simply a plate you're dealing with here. She's in a mutually exclusive relationship with you. She has an obligation to be faithful. Call her out on her behavior and see how she reacts. This will tell you a lot. Distancing yourself from your gf to create 'uncertainty' and dreading …
