Not trying to be rude, but what are you talking about? I didn't describe any dynamic besides the one I used as an example of a poor argument. That wasn't even a social dynamic, that was just a mindset. It only involved one person.

It really just depends on your personality. I view pretty much everything similar to the philosophy you hate. It works great for me. If I could summarize my goal in life, it's to understand systems. The most interesting systems to me right now are social systems. "Instead of consciously trying not to be a creep and pushing and pulling her away, you'll do it naturally and won't go too far because you're just having fun." This is a major straw man and not of any valid substance. I can flip that an…

Seriously. I get how people are using anger to direct themselves to take action, but this is not a requirement. You can be thoughtful and disciplined and know what you need to do, and follow through with it. This is what everyone should strive for. Alignment between their inner intentions and their outer actions. By relying on anger you are essentially admitting you got misaligned and now you are taking hasty actions to swing it back. It is a decent approach, but in no way what you should strive…

Don't beat around the bush. Don't ask her some bull shit question just to start a convo. What do you want from this girl? Do you want to hang out with her? If so that's what you should text her. She's either up for it or not. Some bull shit small talk isn't going to sway her decision from no to yes. It may change a yes to a no. The only reason you would need to do more is if this girl knows nothing about you and is too scared based off no rapport ever having existed. This girl already knows you …

I use to have some fears similar to what you're describing. Specifically I would be afraid of making a move, because i was afraid if she didn't want me to it would make things awkward between us, and I didn't want that to be the case. The reason I didn't want that to be the case was because I feared losing what we currently had. But if I actually introspected, I realize what we currently have is just based on some hopes that it would turn into something. If I honestly remove that possibility and…

The thing with touches is, it can come off as very mixed. For myself, if I look back I cringe at early attempts to touch a girl. But these touches are nothing concrete in her mind. You'll get better. At first you're kind of just awkwardly throwing things out that may not vibe with her. If you kiss her, it's a very clear sign of, "hey, I'm attracted to you". If she doesn't want a second date, there's no ambiguity that it may be because she doesn't think you're into her. I wouldn't worry about rej…

We can't actually establish anything from the details you provided, but the most common thing here is probably a failure to escalate physically. I'm 5 years out of high school (so a little removed from that scene), but I wouldn't over estimate a 16 year old girl's ability to be deep emotionally. I doubt that's what's going on. They probably want a guy to show his attraction towards them. Are you kissing them at the end of the date? That would be a good starting point. A lot of guys in high schoo…

Sure tinder can be a crutch, but it can also be a completely valid supplement. If you don't have the discipline to avoid having it be a crutch, then weigh the value of deleting it. If you're going to go out 1 time a week (just an example). Then go out that one time a week and approach girls and do your thing. Don't pull out tinder that night. However, you can still put a few minutes into tinder other days and get a nice stream of dates setup. If you're someone who wants to go out almost every ni…

yes. Just text her. Move all the conversation to text. Like most people here I'd recommend just keeping it to logistics, but that's your call. I think it is without a doubt better to be talking via text instead of the tinder app though. The degree to how much this matters is up for debate.

I love talking to girls I'm seeing about other guys. However, I'm very clearly only in it as a casual thing, she isn't dictating this. And I have solid confidence in my sexual prowess. Hearing details about other guys is very interesting to me.

That is not the definition of insanity. That is what Benjamin Franklin or some other famous person said. But your point stands. That said. I think there are iterations of this. What you described is a more sophisticated stance, and if too much attention is put on it too early, I think it can be counter productive. This is at least my perception of my experience. Definitely a subjective conclusion.

Don't try to change yourself to fit some mold. Be your best self. Own your image. If you feel peoples perception of you is different than this true image of you, just keep being yourself and it will level out.

Sounds like you learned some good lessons. I think your extremely strong negative reaction to this night is another indicator of your mindset. This isn't that bad. Did you have fun? You were targeting one individual female and even if she doesn't want to hook up with you, it doesn't sound at all like you blew the night. Being good at game doesn't mean any girl you target will fall for you. This girls seems to have a very positive image of you, even if it isn't the exact image you want. Don't be …

So it's a good mindset to realize that girls are just human too and not prop them up. But if you actually think girls are as nervous as guys in general with these situations, you are incorrect.

Jesus christ dude. Grow a pair. Get 'buff' (probably don't call it buff anymore) and try to get girls and try to get good grades. You have time for all of them. Fix your mindset. As far as actually answering your question, it depends on your college and where you are after college. No way we can know. For me it was much easier after college, but I know that it's the opposite for many people.

I'd say you're in a range where 2 inches is pretty relevant, but you're still fine without them. If the 2 inches bumps you from the same height or slightly shorter than a girl, to1+ inch taller, it is a worthwhile benefit (but not necessary at a core level). Don't let this become a crutch/insecurity/something you think about too much.

Another response indicating poor argument skills. You aren't even addressing the substance of anything being said. You are resorting to school yard bullying tactics and trying to make fun of me. But to address your comment. What words are you confused by? I can understand hyperbole, but after that, we have "discrepancy, "exaggeration" as the most complicated words. There is also a typo where I said "if" instead of "of", but that should be fairly intuitive to correct.

Yes. That is the OP I am talking about. Are you even aware if the discrepancy in reality and what you claim? Example 1: "OP, who says he's better then everyone at his school" He never said that. Example 2: "All girls are shallow and boring" He did claim the girls he interacts with are shallow. You are exaggerating to try to paint your portrait. It doesn't even seem like you remember the proposed scenario anymore. The situation isn't that some dude comes up to you and 'your' girl and puts his arm around you. The situation would be that you go up to some dude and his girl, and you put your arm around 'his' girl. It is not 'more than likely' that you are her man, because he knows this girl and knows you're some stranger. The guy then puts his arm around you. You are the one being 'disrespectful' (by your logic) here and not introducing yo…

I think a lot of this is, you seem to be answering this under the context this girl is with you or your girlfriend or something. Get rid of this idea that you are intimidating girls into something. This is toxic and will produce all sorts of bad mindsets that will cascade into poorer interactions. What is going on with these girls? Is there no physical activity? Is there some, but it's not escalating into sex? Also, where do you actually stand with your stance on these things? Do you still have religious beliefs? This can become a sticking point if you don't consciously try to move past it. Don't just simply chalk it up a…

Not completely. You could control for variables. Maybe for 6 months you do approaches/dates with a beard. Then you do 6 months without a beard. You can compare numbers at various conversion points. Obviously this example is a bit contrived as there are other significant factors changing (like 6 months of more experience). But the explanation for why wanting statistics is reasonable. You have the dominant frame. Don't fuck it up by manifesting insecurity over this. If she is receptive when you initiate continue doing so. If you are hanging out with her at will, that is ideal. You are demonstrating an insecurity by worrying that she never asks you.

My procedure is pretty simple. I just send 'Hey' or 'Hey. I like your style' if they actually do have a fashion sense I like or something like that, 'We should hang out', and 'What's your number'. I only move on to the next of the 3 messages if they respond to the previous in a positive fashion. And sometimes I bail because I don't like the girl enough, maybe I was meh before and the way she responded didn't help my opinion of her. If you're only hanging out with her to hookup, be honest with her and maybe call it off. You might be able to get away with persuading her to hookup in some manner, but even in that scenario she may feel pressured and spiteful about it. There is also a chance she just said that to not sound easy, but actually wants to. I would respect her words and take it at face value. If you can't hangout without expectations of hooking up, call it off.

Inviting back for a drink usually works well for me. It isn't so much about giving a legitimate ulterior motive to go back, it's just giving them an excuse. Girls play mind tricks with themselves to avoid considering themselves easy.
/r/seduction22/08/14 04:10 AM
2

I just go with 3 messages. Hey. We should hang out sometime. What's your number. In that order. Works like 50% of the time for me. If they respond initially to the 'Hey' it's like a 90% success rate to get the number. Once I have the number about half convert to meeting up. I've met about 12 girls this way.

Higher status girls are harder to get. Maybe you're just not there yet. Averagish looking, averagish game, averagish status. The notion that you treat them the same and things will work in your favor is a useful simplification. It's fine to have realistic expectations, but don't have limiting thoughts, such as "Ive pretty much fucked any chance I had to get a girlfriend". Now I know this is more a matter of framing, then actual true beliefs, but I would suggest to learn to reframe things in a non negative/limiting manner. In addition to all these self improvement course of actions, which are very relevant for long optimization (I'd recommend RSD Tyler). I would strongly suggest to go to a party and just try to kiss a girl in some drunken situation. I understand you nervousness to pass that barrier, just do it however you can. Don't worry about awkwardness, etc. If that requires you getting drunk to lower inhibitions, I think it's worth it. I was lucky and had a situation where a girl was very forward with me. The…

Probably not applicable, but I'm a software dev and whenever I'm asked what I do I say I work at a startup. I leave out the word programming. If they dig further I say I help make specific product. There is some value to this practice. A lot of people who are naturally timid in this sense have trouble holding eye contact at all. Doing this exercise with the constraint that you cannot look away helps develop a familiarity with it and forces you to hold through the perceived awkwardness. When you want to actually be effective with you eye contact, obviously be reasonable and back off. With out the requirement for holding the eye contact, you tend to make the eye contact and then look away wh…

If done correctly, this is a way to learn from your mistakes. If done incorrectly it will just be needy and get you no where. Just some hopefully constructive criticism. The most trivial thing, it's 'than' instead of 'then'. If you're going on dates and haven't been kissed you're doing it wrong. You're getting the dates, so you've got enough attraction appeal that the girl will go on the date with you. You need to find a way to make things sexual and escalate. You certainly are at a disadvantage over a better looking guy (everything else constant), but your situation in implies you've got other issues.

I know you're probably not claiming you're literally bipolar, but your comparison implies you share this misconception. Bipolar is a disorder where someone oscillates between manic and depressant states. Everyone knows this, but these oscillations happen over the course of weeks/months. In the moment mood swings are no…

I'm going to go against the grain and say yes. Because of your porn use and lack of real life encounters I think it is going to go poorly. It is going to be very unfamiliar and not what you are conditioned to. Doing this will lead you to either recognize this as an issue, or things will go fine and you'll have gotten over this mental barrier. If it's the first, you want to recognize this as soon as possible and start making the changes you need. If it's the second, then great.

Minor technicality about your first point. 'I've come to accept this' can mean two different things. The way I'm assuming he meant is that he accepts the fact as true, but that doesn't mean he is secure with it.

Don't be a pussy. What do you expect us to tell you? If you claim you're going to 'mack on some honeys', go do it. Don't worry about getting over the awkwardness. Just plunge through it.

Is your issue fear or is it that you view the situation as possibly fuck up able by going for something when she doesn't want it? I mean this as a legitimate question. If fear isn't the issue, just make a point to always go for a kiss/full on makeout. I have gone straight to a make out with no kino lead up and completely un ideal positioning many times and it's never turned out badly. If fear is your issue, that's a much harder battle. I'd suggest using alcohol to make it easier, and once it's m…

That is absolutely not true. I'll give a simple counter example. You go to watch a basketball game for your favorite team. It's the championship game. Your team wins a very close and exciting game on a last second shot. Everyone is celebrating and super excited. Naturally the adrenaline wears off and people taper back to a more normal state. Did all of these people return to a normal state because they were needy? These ideas are not at all related. You are taking the idea of a peak emotional st…

Op is suggesting it is beneficial to leave the interaction right after its peak emotional state. This is unrelated to someone being needy or over eager. I'm assuming people may incorrectly interpret staying around the interaction after it's peak as a sign of neediness, but this isn't correct. I can describe why if needed, but if you think about it is should be clear.

No. What you said and what op described are two orthogonal concepts.

I believe you have a fairly accurate perspective. However, your communication is shit. I'm not trying to be mean anymore, but you are saying different things than you intend. I'm not referring to typos or grammar . The root of your problem is you keep putting everything into absolutes. For example "lose all attraction". This is a overly simple frame of our reality. We live in a probabilistic system. You cannot make these claims and he expected to be taken seriously by an intelligent person. I ca…

Jesus christ. You have the analytical capabilities of a north korea citizen. You're so biased in your opinion that you are rationalizing its obvious falsehood. Let me explain the more realistic scenario. Men and women are different. Men will in general put more emphasis on looks. Women more so on emotional factors. However, men will still incorporate emotional factors, and women will incorporate appearance into their judgement. What is the justification for this claim? It's fucking obvious to an…

Money and looks don't mean everything. But to say they mean nothing is laughable and discredits your ability to form accurate opinions .

Everything can be reduced to a formula. Our universe is a scientific one, with causal implications. However, your brain is not capable of inferring or processing all of these formulas. Replace the word formula with framework. This is how you can effectively operate. Don't think of things as rules, rather think of people as a system. They have rhymes and reason to how they operate. You can't get an exact understanding, but you can get a progressively good approximation. If you're smart (in a cert…

I respect and understand your opinion that sex with random girls isn't as much fun as someone you care about, but that isn't shared by ever single guy. However I disagree with "The only reason some guys pretend they like it is because they are emotionally insecure". That may be why some guys do, but you cannot make that blanket claim for everyone who enjoys that lifestyle.
