I actually had a rough patch and quite drinking entirely. It’s hard at first but it’s been over a year now and it’s just who I am now. Better shape than I’ve been in years and now girls give me the eye. It’s amazing I’ve only been doing RP for a few months but it’s an eye opening experience.

Holy shit. This is like basically my whole Navy life summed up. Except for the crazy girls. I was way to introverted and alcoholic to even get them. I’m in Phoenix now as well and going to flight school at ASU. Being out of the navy gives you such a better perspective on life. I would say the GI bill is a cheat code too. Damn keep up the good work man.

I’m 29 and I’m sober a year. I look better now at 29 than I did at 26. The sober part is really weird at first. You have to learn to interact with people again. Like a normal person without the drugs or booze. You can still have friends that drink and even go to clubs and shit. I wouldn’t unless you feel ready for that. Remember being sober is about not being afraid to be who you are.

I wasn't an "Alpha" but I was much less beta. Guess I'll just have to slow the game and see if it works out. Basically prepare myself for the AWALT

I like this approach. Seems like the only one that is reasonable anyway. Starting slow and working into Alphadom seems the best way. The frog in the kettle type shit for sure. Thanks
