Superhero and band shirts do exist but they are rarely seen as “good fashion” for men. Every tv show or movie that has a guy dressed like that portrays the character as some nerdy socially awkward loser. Most modern tv shows and movies will always show the “attractive” male characters dressed in suits. Most fashion even follows a uniform trend of showing men in some variation of a suit with an unbuttoned collared shirt replacing a suit jacket ontop of a T-shirt to give a “casual” look. There’s n…

I completely get what you’re saying. This is why I believe it isn’t so much the height women are attracted to but rather perceived social value to others. This would explain why women aren’t simply attracted to all men taller than themselves. Women are only attracted to men considered tall by all their friends (or at least most of them). Indian guys will never be seen as attractive as white guys unless we compensate for our perceived social reputation. Indian guys especially outside india are se…

Now that is something special, a modern marketing tactic that marketers use to create the illusion that women are interested in the product they’re pushing. It follows the same principal as the concept of the “girl gammer”. Allow me to explain. Modern marketers know that make consumers are now more self conscious and self aware. Unlike in the past guys have come to the realisation that doing activities girls partake in is more likely to get them laid. It’s why more guys now days volunteer for sc…

Thank you for existing. Do you prefer guys become your friends first? I don’t mean with the hidden agenda of asking you out. But are you put off my guy friends asking you out/becoming friends before deciding they want to ask you out?

Agreed. Also people tend to consume what is popular so they can talk about it with others. This is why women often don’t watch female led shows because it isn’t popular. It’s one are that is particularly male dominated since men are usually more easily engaged by visual stimulation (tv shows) while women are more difficult to cater to. The opposite is true for most consumer products though. Clothes, fashion and most products consumed on a regular basis are designed to appeal to women (who buy mo…

It may not be a big thing for the guy doing that really but if you have any sympathy you can’t help but acknowledge how this comes off to a girl dealing with all they deal with everyday

What you’re saying is correct though that value doesn’t necessarily come in the form of cash… at least not as directly as on onlyfans. While the vast vast majority of women don’t trade sexual favours for advancement in the workplace, it has created a form of scarcity making desperate men willing to employ or promote women for even the possibility of it resulting in something sexual. Even though the guy knows it probably won’t and even if the guy is in a relationship and wouldn’t sleep with her g…

I know foreign women tend to feel a sense of gratitude when they date white guys. Not being racist or anything. I myself an Indian and have heard Indian girls say this. Indian girls feel a sense of pride when they am age to “get” a white guy. Indian guys are universally seen as creepy and lower value. Indian girls are constantly trying to be seen as less Indian as that is seen as more modern and “posh”. You will notice they often like to do Indian cultural activities though. This is because they…

It’s why most guys get their girlfriends in highschool or college while staying in dorms. Getting girls to go to these mixed gender places is only possible because they are literally a captive audience at that stage of life. After that the chances guys have go down drastically. It also doesn’t help that women feel threatened going out alone. Part of this is due to an actual lack of safety for women but I feel a lot of it is unjustified from movies and tv shows. This is why when women go out it’s…

We live in a society that’s idea of socially acceptable has changed quite recently. People are settling into LTRs by their early 20s, sometime in college. Women have always been biologically attracted to older guys and despite traditional gender roles no longer being the norm every girl wants to date a “provider”. By this I mean a guy who is older than them and has a better job or someone their age who shows more potential (is smarter, is more capable etc). Since most people are getting into LTR…

Girls do tend to sleep around a lot at this age. I’m 22 and I’ve noticed this. Unfortunately for most guys they all sleep around with the top 30% of guys

Now days most guys work out and have what would have (20 years ago) been considered a buff body. Now because all guys have this physique people have become desensitised to it. In the same way height is something a lot of guys now days have. Even if a guy is taller than a girl she has become desensitised to the height difference. Girls want to see a more drastic height difference to see him as tall

It comes down to the fact that women are valued for what they are as they are while men are valued for what they can do and offer. There are probably other more successful guys who would date her. In their youth women have the advantage because they are desired by guys of all ages. Plus women are often attracted to older guys who desire them more. What guys like however is considered creepy. Older guys have to date women their own age or slightly younger otherwise it’s creepy. Personally I prefe…

I suspect it’s because in the usual dating age women are in their prime while guys are only in their prime once they are older (an age where it would be creepy for them to date women in the usual dating age). This creates an economy where only the exceptional guys can date girls their own age. Other guys have to wait till they’re old enough to be able to date a younger woman without it being too creepy (noticeably creepy)

Yes but girls still like knowing one is available. Teens and people in their early 20s are dying for any independence from their parents that they can get. So even if public transport is readily available, cheeper, more pleasant and less stressful they will insist on driving cars everywhere

This is so true except I don’t believe girls are replying to strangers who message them over IG. In this day and age stranger danger is pretty well known and people are very aware of catfishing and scammers. However girls are far more independent than they were at any other time in history. Instagram gives girls the opportunity to act far more mature and independent. In the past girls used to embrace their youth and dress their age. Finally someone who gets this. I may be wording what you said another way but I feel women want a guy who appears intelligent but only in a form that others view as a good trait. For example social intelligence (being witty, popular, charming to everyone etc), knowledge on a subject that is useful in the current situation or street smart in a dangerous situation. Social intelligence is always seen as a good thing at all times as all situations involving other people are social. Knowledge that is…

To address point 5 I find the opposite is true. In todays political climate people try to overcompensate when taking a woman’s advice. They always assume it is right and generally people believe a woman has worked harder to get where she is even if she hasn’t. People assume a woman in a professional environment has faced the same discrimination they faced 60 years ago. It also comes from the way boys and girls grow up in schools. Boys grow up seeing the behaviour of girls idolised by their teach…

I see your logic and biologically this makes a lot of sense. However it assumes women are willing to risk going out alone with a stranger all to impress their friends. This may be plausible but it also requires some other assumptions. It assumes that a woman has already spoken with her friends about the guy and the group is curious about him. A prerequisite of this would be that the guy has been friends with the girl and her friends for a while for them to become curious.

What is really admired are risk takers who are successful. Biologically we feel there is something genetically superior about them which makes them successful at doing dangerous things. Women are hypergamous but it’s mostly before marriage. They are hypergamous in choosing who to get into relationships with. The more you can secure a woman the less likely she is to leave. Girlfriends are quite loyal and wives more so. Hypergamy is most active when a girl is choosing if she wants to date you in the first place. Once in a relationship it doesn’t portray well to others if the girl cheats or breaks up with you simply because she found someone better. Economically it lowers a girls …

You are assuming that all other men aren’t “looksmaxing” Being in that top 20% of men may have been much easier for guys historically (early 2000s and before) when guys had less of an understanding of what women liked and what being a good person meant (remember those were the days of the Thomson bully). In todays world every guy follows proper hygiene. It isn’t even considered as a way to get laid - it’s just something you need to do. Every guy goes to the gym nowadays and every guy puts effort…

I assume women don’t use those apps because they gets swamped with options irl. Unless the woman is out of her proverbial prime. Dating in your 20s on there as a guy will be hopeless since at this age girls have tones and tones of real life options

This is why I was worried about using a metaphor. I meant to compare women to gold while comparing guys to something like silicone which is only valued for what it can do in electronics. Modern guys can not get anywhere seeing women as objects. It’s a sure way never to get laid and never to make any friends. From a young age schools idolise they behaviour of girls over boys. Boys grow up seeing girls as cleaner, more mature and smarter than themselves. What’s more by the time people hit puberty …

Most were probably trying to impress you since girls like guys who know more than them,,, Also you still got the job. Being underestimated is an advantage and allows you to either far exceed expectations or get away with more incompetence. Men holding you to a lower standard means that skill demonstrated by you are as exceeding expectations nude

Not only do men biologically desire sex but it also provides us with confirmation that we are acceptable to women if and when we may decide to settle down. Anyone can pretend to be your friend or smile around you while still seeing something wrong with you. Sex is confirmation that a girl sees us as acceptable, confirmation we are on the right track in life

Honestly now days the only way to get a girlfriend is if you manage to get one in highschool. Girls aren’t as attracted to the same proportion of guys physically as the proportion of girls guys are attracted to. Most guys who have girlfriends mostly didn’t get them based on their own physical attractiveness. They got them by developing a level of trust and you can’t easily build with a girl outside of high school. Schools present a 6 hour day where boys and girls are trapped together in classroo…

1) It’s not a threat. If anything it’s a benefit. Guys seeing women more as objects doesn’t that value women less then other people. Throughout history and even today people value valuable objects far more than their fellow people. Women are seen as extremely valuable objects. Guys especially virgin guys are willing to do betray their fellow guys for a chance to “have” or even increase their chances of “having” a woman. 2) I’m not saying a guy needs to sleep with every woman to see them as objec…

I too have observed this where I live. Your assessment may be correct. In relationships like those social circles play a big role. Even if the guy is boring with no charisma etc, access to a good social circle can be a huge draw to girls. The other possibility is that the relationship started when they were younger. Now days many couples start dating when they’re younger and don’t break up. Girls have much fewer options when they’re younger and back then getting any boyfriend at all is considere…

The emotional part is a very important part of sex. It’s why paying for sex isn’t considered as “real” to a virgin. To guys sex shows emotional and physical vulnerability. Paying for it doesn’t give the same benefits

Yes exactly I’ve added an edit to clarify this point. Sex helps a guy see women as equals as opposed to unattainable “beings on another level”. Of cause we know this but sex provides us with confirmation that a woman really does see us as equal

Objectifying women does not mean seeing them as lesser than themselves. I should have cleared that up - my bad. Sex helps guys stop seeing women as idolised prizes out of reach. Sex gives a guy confirmation that a girl has accepted him as an equal and this helps him see himself as equal to other girls as well
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/22 09:42 PM
1

There are called prostitutes but they are definitely not a “solution” as it were. To feel equal to girls a guy need to feel he is “worthy” of girls. This mens he needs to have sex with a regular non coerced girl
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/22 09:39 PM
1

When I say men are objectifying women I don’t mean that in a derogatory way. When a man objectifies a woman he views her as something he isn’t worthy of. He believes he is not her equal because she is “superior” in some way. Sex helps guys see women as equals as opposed to “superior beings”
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/22 09:34 PM
-1

When a virgin objectifies women he views them as something he isn’t worthy of. Sex helps guys see that they are worthy of being equal to women
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/22 09:31 PM
1

Your assuming that objectifying women means seeing women as less than human and less than the guy. When a guy objectifies a woman he idolises her and views her as something not fully attainable. He views her as something he isn’t deemed worthy of yet. Sex isn’t necessarily something selfish that a guy needs from all women to view them as human. He just needs it from a girl to see that he is “worthy”
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/22 09:28 PM
1

When I say objects I don’t mean this in a derogatory term. Men view women as better than themselves and idolise them. Until a guy has sex he has not received confirmation that a woman has considered him a true equal
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/22 09:24 PM
1

Yes I completely agree also when I say guys don’t view women as humans I don’t mean it in a derogatory way. Quite the opposite. We view women as more valuable than guys. Men view women as something to aspire to get. We idolise women as we don’t yet fully understand what/who they consider worthy of sex, and if we measure up

The sex itself doesn’t give a guy useful life skills but the lead up to it and the confirmation that he is “capable” of being liked enough to get sex is very useful in life. It gives a guy the assurance that he’s on the right track to meet his biological desires so he doesn’t need to obsess over sex so much. Yes we put importance on it because it is so important. When a guy hasn’t managed to get laid is reflects negatively on him. People wonder what’s wrong with him. When a girl doesn’t have sex…

I mean more human. Guys view women the same way we idolise celebrities. We don’t know how to act around them and try whatever we can to make them like us

/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/22 08:05 AM

But most guys who take part in hookup culture do see women as people. That’s how they’re able to get in their pants. That and a whole lot of other reasons but seeing women as more than objects is a minimum requirement once you’re out of HS. These “promiscuous” guys aren’t blocking girls after sleeping with them. It’s usually the girls who aren’t interested in LTR.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/22 08:01 AM
4

I agree wholeheartedly and society also tends to demonise men. Women are taught to look out for guys who only have one thing on their mind. Movies often show sex as something a guy steals from a woman and women should be cautious about giving. Movies with young people having fully consensual sex often show the girl as the victim who was cheated/tricked into having sex. If the girl enjoyed it too then she got the same benefit the guy did. If she didn’t enjoy it (but wasn’t forced) then it’s not s…

You are correct that the mindset comes from the mind and it’s why having sex with a prostitute isn’t a quick fix. Psychologically guys need to know they can get sex without resorting to direct payment for it. Yes plenary of virgin guys won’t act sexist or Sexually harass you. Creepy desperate guys don’t act typically creepy and desperate around women. Probably 95% of guys shower and try to act normal even if they aren’t. They dress smartly and don’t sexually harass women. I suspect people tend to find juxtaposition attractive as it implies superior genetics. I find that while some video game companies pretend to be appealing to “girl gamers” by including more female characters and female leads, like any successful business they are just appealing to the consumer majority - men. Firstly there’s the obvious hot female characters so guys have something nice to look at on the screen.
