I'm actually doing all of those things now. As far as qualifications go, they exist but most places hire off experience, which I have. I spent 18 months grinding and putting myself through physical strain before realizing that I really hated that lasy job I had. I'm afraid I'll get a job, move and realize I also hate it an be at ground zero with no career and no clue what to do with my life.

I'm afraid of failure, to be honest. Even though I know its not really the end of the world. I feel aimless and like covid took the wind out of my sails.

I thought I was unlovable and unattractive for a long time too. First relationship I had I realized I was just being used for sex. The second made me so happy. I realised after he dumped me that he also took advantage of my. It's a terrifying place to be. I want to open up to people but I worry they're going to use me again. I have a lot more tools than I did, and councling has helped.

Clearly it never occurred to him that it's also highly inappropriate to suggest that in a work place!! Wow

You have to be kind to yourself. Mistakes happen. I'm a little disappointed in my past self but I've had a lot of time to reflect on why past me made the decisions she did. I wish she hadn't agreed to no condom with a guy she thought loved her...but she was wrapped up in his charm. There's nothing wrong with making mistakes when we didnt know any better. We've all made mistakes before we learned, in school, driving, at work.

Yup! I have. It was three months long, and I was in full pick me mode. He liked one photo of mine on Instagram but liked more of other girls he followed. I had that nagging question if he really cared and liked me. Turns out it was a no. But as said, full pick me mode was engaged so I convinced myself that he just wasn't on Instagram very much in order to like my posts. Deep sigh much has been learned....

I was 27 at the time and I was eager to cast off the virgin label. I felt old for a virgin and I was terrified that I wouldn't find anyone else who'd want to have sex with me. That's always wrong. I dont regret it...it wasn't bad or painful, however there will always be a little tarnish because it was three dates and three weeks into seeing the guy and I was hooked. He took advantage of the situation and it took me 9 months to figure that out after he dumped me. I can't change it, I can just fix…

Well...he dumped me, because he "didnt have the urge to cuddle [me] after sex" So thanks for the support but it wasn't my decision. I have however made strides in my confidence and self worth. It wasn't all bad. Still, thank you. 😊

Yeah, I agree. It's still a hard thing to come to terms with cor me because I based a lot of my self knowledge and discovery on those encounters with someone who I thought really liked me

Yes. It makes sense now. On the subject though I know for myself I'm now realizing that the rough or aggressive sex I thought I liked was only as satisfying as it was because I thought it was what I should like. I really liked the person who was being rough so I must like this kind of aggression. Right? Wrong. I'm still struggling with coming to terms with that realization. However I think there is a place for passion, like holding someone close in a hug and just generally touching/being touched…

I dont dont disagree with your point. I'm just confused what it has to do with a post that's not about aggressive sex.

I felt the same as you, I get it. I was eager to date too. I was just trying to tell you it's okay to be where you are. I wish someone had told me that a year ago. In the end you just gotta do what's right for you, not what anyone tells you to do.

I [27F] know exactly what you're feeling. I was there myself. I was sure I'd be a virgin my entire life because no one wanted to look my direction. Its rough, you feel like garbage no matter how much the rest of your life is going well. Having no dating experience isnt a bad thing. I've dated for about a year now and it's not all its cracked up to be. Trust me. Its not worth dating guys just for the heck of it. They'll hurt you or take advantage of you. Dont think I'm a cynic, because I'm a hard…

I only actively shave my armpits and legs to the knee. I dont really bother even shaving in the winter. I have full pubes because I also hate the itches and the ingrowns. Of the four men who I've slept with not a one of them said anything about it. Two of which were LVM. One guy offered to shave for me and I said no because I wasn't going to. I also really dont care about body hair or lack there off. My thought is if they dont like your hair they've selected themselves out of the running. Walk a…

Right! As someone who's got a degree you dont just wake up one morning and forget what you studied in school for 4 to 5 years.

No worries! I may have taken the course in 2014 but the booklet was right at the front of my shelf. Is it uni or high school? I learned about these ladies in a relatively small 300 level uni class that started with the prof reading Rochester's Imperfect Enjoyment outloud. Any of the guys with delicate geos didnt come back. Lol.

Yes! I read it for a class in uni and holy hanna. If you liked Wollstonecraft you should check out "A serious proposal to the ladies" by Mary Astell from 1694. As well as "To all the ingenious ladies" by Lady Mary Chudleigh 1701. These are two of Wollstonecraft's foremothers.

Yeah, it was just a crummy situation, while I was still trying to trust again after being cheated on. Deep sigh. If youd asked me at the time I would have told you I 100% trusted the guy who did all that. My trust is a little shot now. I haven't dated with real gusto or hope since June.

Well. I was a virgin when we started dating. I had an idea what sex would be like, but I had also been highly disappointed by oral with an ex prior. It was an experience. It was highly pleasurable with him every time but I was exhausted after, and I loved it. Because of how things ended and his lack of an actual reason I'm not fully convinced he wasn't just using me. Our first time he put his hand on my throat(without chocking) but I didnt have the confidence to tell him to stop. I brought it up…

No one can tell you what's right for you. My first suggestion would be to find a good lingerie shop and get a bra fitting. Well fitting bras do absolute wonders for boobs! And you'll feel better. Like wow! It's safer, less expensive and not permanent. I was wearing a 36C. Turns out I'm a 34D.

For me its kind of like wading through a swamp. I went out for a while (1 month) with a guy who was still married. He told me after the third date. Had another guy tell me it wouldn't work because I "wasn't experienced enough." The really hurtful one was the guy I thought really liked me but broke up after 3 months because he didnt want to cuddle me. I did meet up with a guy I went to high school with, we hooked up. The sex was good but now I know hookups aren't my thing. He's a decent guy thoug…

Its when I was informed by him that he was sleeping with other girls. And when the second guy told me it couldn't work because he didnt want to cuddle me. Good times. It's a lot easier when it's your decision to walk away.

Yeah, I live in a relatively large city, but we're in the middle of rural and small towns. I'm not against farmers or hunters. I just don't like their trophy photos.

Gays and Fat girls swipe left. Fish or deer photos. Poor quality, grainy photos. Only photos. Only photos with lots of friends and beers.

If your going to be annoyed by the elevator of a high rise stopping at other floors...take the stairs! Or live in a shorter building.

You can still be violated if you didnt vocally say no. It should have been apparent to him that you weren't as eager for the bj as him. I've been in the same place, confused because I felt uncomfortable with something, but I had convinced myself I wanted it so I should be happy and satisfied. Dont diminish your feelings, they're there for a reason.

I'm also sorry for ever disliking Taylor Swift. Women in the public eye dont deserve hate for just trying to live their life.

What site was that? That was not my experience on tinder, bumble, hinge, plenty of fish, and match. I'd agree that profiles are usually phony in some way. There's a lot of garbage to wade through. One profile straight up said he played video games most of the day, doesn't have his license nor a job currently. And I'm never convinced the guys in profiles that look good are decent people.
