sharpened up my mouth piece how did you learn this? I feel like through work I have become a more eloquent speaker, but I still struggle with being 'witty' or making instant clever remarks for banter, especially with strangers (i find it easier to do so with closer friends since we already have some inside jokes and such).

I like to bring up something that they mentioned from a previous conversation (this is good because it shows that I was actively listening to the other person) true this is a good point. I didnt realize i could go back to older topics with "i noticed you mentioned [xyz]." thanks for the tip, i'll keep this in mind going forward

Let the conversation flow naturally so if the conversation of one topic is naturally coming to an end, is it okay to just spring a new question entirely? like one minute we'll be talking about how covid screwed up 2020 plans, but when it comes to a natural conclusion can you just say "hey what type of music do you like?" (hope that makes sense)

Yeah another time, after my friend's feedback, we went out again and I tried dancing without a care in the world and a few girls did smile my way. one did dance with me too (didn't go further than that tho). I do see what you and the above commenter mean and I'll definitely try that more next time.

Nah, it's a legit question. I went out to a nightclub a while back and later that night one of my friends told me (honest feedback) I needed to learn how to dance lol. I'm not the most physically coordinated person so I understood what he meant cool, I'll look into finding lessons near me or something like that. Thank you
