I was social chairman for my fraternity in college which meant that I organized 4 parties (for about 150-800 people) a week, every week. I threw some absurd events. In my opinion there is only one thing you need to make a party good. Drunk people. Have lots of cheap beer but also have hard stuff with lots of mixers. Dont run out of cups either. Anything that's exercise related. But just going to the gym works for me. It's the best hobby of all. You get a feeling of accomplishment, it's good for you, and it makes you more attractive. Go to the store and buy some shoes and workout gear to get you motivated first
