Fair enough, but i think in the latter case they do have a justifiable reason to post the picture. They need to identify him.

Would it? Do you have an example of a news article for a UK case?
/r/MensRights03/05/16 06:51 PM

I really hate comments like this since it completely disregards the jurisdiction of the article. Iirc in the uk, the worst you get is 14 days in jail. So no, a man wouldn't be regestered as a sex offender

Well according to a quick google, 13% of women work in the mining industry. Plus isn't the pay as a miner decent these days and it's not crazy unsafe anymore?

Isnt using a 100 (?) year old photo as evidence as male inequality the same as using 1920s voting rights as evidence for female inequality?

Do the videos blame feminism as the cause? The UK has allways had a very strict view of masculinity (siff upper lip and whatnot) since the 1800s

If a man did this, the punishment would be much worse I wish when people said this, they would at least find a similar story when the man is the perpetrator.

Eh, people in this sub can be retarded at times. For example, people in this post point to this as the evidence of "the feminazi narrative is everywhere," when the post is currently at -25. I guess this sub could of brigaded it but that would prove the point of 3rd post in OPs link

Fair enough. But if we were to compare drunk consent to contract law, which the person above me was doing, such a contract would be voidable, since one party knew of the others intoxication

/r/MensRights03/02/16 05:36 AM

If I get drunk and call 1800-DirectTV and order a new TV package, I can't later refuse to pay for it because I was drunk. You absolutely could. There is legal justification to void contracts if the party is drunk

Further research tells me it was far right nationalists and some eArly feminists who supported the movement. If it was 90% feminists I may agree with you (ignoring presentism) but if it was 90% nationalists your title is just misleading, it's like saying the nazis were a feminist movement because they were supported mostly by women. I just got that from a skim of Wikipedia

OP said "What do you think would happen if it was a man caught doing this?" and honnestly, in most places and in Canada, nothing different would have happened. OP needs to learn perspective and context, hence victim complex.
/r/MensRights05/03/15 06:36 AM

How is that relevant? Has that happened in Canada? Also you shouldnt use feminist logic; if there is some injustice against men, therefore all acts are injustice.
/r/MensRights05/03/15 06:30 AM

I'm sad you're being downvoted. As much as this sub harps of feminism being an echo chamber, it's not like here it's any better. If it takes a ton of money and time, then it is effectively a ban

Did you just delete your original message, and all your other posts, and then post again? I find it kinda funny, that you call someone self important, when you go around scourging your comments and submissions lest they make you look bad. Also is this the second time you've posted this article here in three days? Also, why is your title from a previous submission, identical to the title of this article? EDit: You are weird deleting post left right and center.

What right are you talking about?
/r/MensRights02/06/14 10:44 PM

If the accused name was not made public, then we would be having secret trials. Thats one big leap you got there. Neither the accused nor the accuser should be afforded anonymity. Yes they should, since say being accused of, say child rape, is punishment without trial. Anonymity during the trial, does not mean the trial is secret, There is a reason publication bans are a thing.
/r/MensRights02/06/14 09:57 PM

Yeah in a trial, not in public.
/r/MensRights02/06/14 09:21 PM

Out of curiosity, why have you labelled her a feminist? The article makes no mention of her feminist leanings or her ascribance to feminist ideology. One can fight for rights of women, and lie through their teeth without being a feminist. IMO I find it a bit disgusting that the OP seems to have tailored this situation to get a jab in on Feminism. This sort of bias and bending of the "truth" funnily enough is alike to the feminist tactics im sure we all hate.

Define dangerous? Danger as in her life was never threatened, sure. Danger as in she was unknowingly poisoned, yes. Say for example you were spiked with laxatives, which gave you diarrhea. /r/MensRights31/01/14 12:08 PM

You seem to think that poisoning implies that life must be endangered. It isnt. You know that a poison is not defined by its ability to endanger life, but defined as something that causes a disturbance to an organism, and a miscarriage/abortion is a damn big disturbance. No that is literally what you are saying. Its as childish and ignorant as "All feminists are literally hitler" Feminism isnt a boogy man that comes to eat your babies. Some of it are mind boggling retarded, others are pretty dece people. MR will get nowhere if it doesnt leverage these pretty dece feminists.

To be fair the doctor leading the class did some scummy things. EDIT: I was wrong about this, I thought the person leading it was Michael Flood Also while this is still bad, this is not blocking research. No doubt the Dr leading this is still in the employ of the uni, thus still doing research. Blocking the dissemination of knowledge, sure.

We aren't a united front on this issue So? There is no reason why we should, To say that people who are for gay marriage are not MRA's and not welcome here will only permote groupthink and possibly make this place an echo chamber. Assuming that you are implying that /r/MensRights should be 100% united on the matter.

I dont even see how this is a race issue at all. You say: if the student were white Well there is no mention of him being black, and its not like a kid with the name of "Sam McNair" doesnt really scream ethnic at you now does it. Are you one of these people who gets provoked into a race war when some one asks "So what part of the world does your family come from?" Honestly how old are you? Like 16? what? In which way did I imply modern feminism was about equality or choice? I'm not saying it is necessarily but I did not touch on the subject
/r/MensRights13/12/13 08:45 PM

Why? People have the right to live their lives however they wish. You shouldnt be bothered if a woman wants to marry a rich man, or a man wanting to become rich to find a wife. To me it's akin to feminists getting angry at women who choose to be a housewife. To me equality is about having a choice, even if that choice is to be "traditional."

Basically what the comment above was trying to convey is that most of the users here (and on reddit for that matter) don't know the difference between self defense and retaliation. If you get punched once, by a man or woman, you have no right to punch back (more or less). One can only use self defense when there is a real threat of suffering more additional violence. I actually think feminists did good... until recently when they got kind of crazy. They started to demand strange things. Many of the problems actually are because of distortet feminism. Reverse the rolls, and I would still say no. I'm not an expert, but I presume when most of this shit goes on, the perpetrating party does not know their actions are harmfull, and these actions need to be confronted with communication. I feel that the way society feels that any point of physicality, makes the relationship abusive. Breaking up with no ifs ands or buts instead of working it out, is the easy way out. But I'm not an expert, and the decision lies with the op anyways

So in summary you are too stupid to put forth an argument, too fanatical to question your own beliefs or simply a troll. And the real irony here is, for one who seems to be against feminism in society you do seem to act like one when in a discussion.

I don't even understand. Do you even understand how bail works? It is not a poor assumption to assume that if one is in custody prior to a trial you either can't afford bail, don't want to past bail or you are considered a risk to flee. We can rule out the last one because he was eventually released on bail. Instead of arguing over semantics of how my view on this case is wrong, please I invite you to explain how I am wrong, using things called logic and reason. Please tell me how I "didn't dedu…

This is not mentioned in the article. You seem to be making stuff up. Clearly the man saw jail time while the woman didn't. I dont even, instead of making things up is it possible that I am able to read the facts as presented and properly deduce a thing or two. Ok bear with me lets analyse this sentence: Patton, who was arrested April 5, served five months in jail before he was released on bond. Now he served 5 months in jail until bail was posted as evidenced by "released on bond", so what can …

just his mug shot and entry in the sex offenders registry Which is completely comparable to the females case Under the terms of the plea deal, she will never teach again, must register as a sex offender

He WAS put in jail for 5 months, following which he had to register as a sex offender. Because he was unable to post bail, so he was in jail not due to leniency due to gender but because of how the justice system works. Are you really arguing that in this case he should not have been put in jail while the trial was pending? On the sex offender part Under the terms of the plea deal, she will never teach again, must register as a sex offender So again what is your issue? Compare the two articles. …

How is this guy not in jail? Is that sentence also a "perversion of justice in a feminized government."

See that the problem you keep saying that some men serve no jail time Except for the article he just posted. The man didnt post bail and was held in jail. That has nothing to do with gender unfairness but just how a trial works. Two years' probation vs Three years probation, one could say that the punishments are equal in both cases.

In "The Little Coochie Snorcher that Could", an underage girl (thirteen in earlier performances, sixteen in the revised version) recounts being given alcohol and then having sex with an adult woman; the incident is recalled fondly by the grown girl, who in the original version of the play calls it "a good rape." Her abuser is also portrayed positively as someone "rescuing" her from needing men for sexual satisfaction When you scroll up half a page on the OP's post under feminist criticism

I should also point out that this was an opinion held by some feminists as well.

So why is it sexist then? Because it somehow implies that only men cheat? If I were to make a list of reasons of why men play sports, and each reason could be applied to Males and females, would that also be sexist?
/r/MensRights24/01/13 05:02 AM

While it is shitty advice, its not necessarily sexist. I mean would having an article about why women cheat be sexist?

So? What because male teachers get fucked in a similar situation, means that a female teacher should be equally fucked? No, the courts and laws need to analyze the damage done in such situations, to determine the punishment, if any, regardless of the gender.

Or in other words, if you have any criticisms of r/mensrights, gtfo This attitude holds us back. Also I know not how to do any of those things. Perhaps if "MR stopped circlejerking about feminism and instead focused on the rights we should be working for" we would have more links/ resources of how this sort of action done. Or we can just have articles reaffirming the fact that women are people too, and people do bad things every once and a while. Thats cool too

What document is the img from in this comment Men are raped by women about as often as women are raped by men. Notice how the rape of men by women is not listed under rape. And how the lifetime rate of raped men is estimated to be almost the same amount as the rape of men for that one year alone, as though men didn't exist prior to that year.

Link From what I understand from the paper it seems that it argues that the rate of female homicide is equivalent to the amount of "patriarchy" in a area. Then it finds that where female homicide is high, the morality of men in that area is also high. And thats about it, its kinda a crappy research paper

What contract? what obligation? I dont think you unerstand what self-explanatory means. Futhermore the constitution quote you provided "No State shall enter ... Law impairing the Obligation of Contracts," May not apply to the judge's ruling as A) A jundge is not "The state", he/she is part of the judical system and B) Passing Jundgement is not equal to passing a Law (Maybe common law).
