Its yoghurt, lets not get all tied up in its essentialist matriarchial 1st wave undertones, its mouldy milk with bee fluids in it. The ad is aimed a middle class women who are for some reason according to ads filled with enough gas to fill the Hindenburg and want an easy diet. No one wants to sell yoghurt to men, unless it has a protien overdose in it.

I don't really have a problem with ads like this, it's free speech and I support it. Is it in bad taste? I think so, but I don't want to live in a society that limits what I can say just because it offends some people. Now obviously, if the genders were reversed, I would say the same thing, and I am concerned that there seems to be a growing double standard in which women are allowed their sacred right, but men are increasingly being denied it, if not by a government institution, then by vicious activist groups.

The real issue here is that this type of de humanising of men is a regular pattern. Danone is especially guilty of this in light of the John Stamos superbowl ad where he takes a headbutt to the face. Normalization and over saturation of violence and disrespect such as this only serves to create a culture that accepts and worse expects such behaviour as a matter of course.
