Michael Jordan was the exact same way. I love that commercial where he's talking to young basketball players about how maybe he "destroyed the game", or maybe "you're just making excuses" Edit: https://youtu.be/9zSVu76AX3I

Wow, just wrote a comment on phish before seeing yours haha, but I definitely agree. Though Trey has written some pretty cheesy songs (piss break songs like Alaska or BDTNL).

Yep. I used to like coldplay in my High School days but now I understand the phrase "you know how I know you're gay? Because you listen to coldplay." Its really cheesy, and having been at one of their concerts, the amount of girls who listen to it definitely outweigh the guys. I remember being able to "relate" to all the song lyrics in my BP days. My favorite band now is Phish, and I don't listen for the lyrics. The music and the show atmospheres really appeal to me. Some of their stuff ranges f…

Why do women do this? They aren't invested in the relationship... is it because they actually believe in the advice they are giving? I was talking to this girl about one of my current hookups and she gave me advice like "buy her drinks, if I were her I would want you to be nice and a gentleman to me"

I think there's a somewhat related app for that. Though I've never used it before, its called HabitRPG.

I don't know your personal schedule, but personally, I'm a science major at a prestigious university who works in a research lab, and still finds an hour per day to get to the gym. You just gotta find the motivation to fit it in your schedule. I've been going to the gym daily for almost 2 years now, and honestly its one of the highlights of my day. I almost feel empty without going.

Not to sound like a hipster or anything, but this sub was a lot better when I first joined it about a year ago. The content was top notch daily, and the discussions weren't just people being edgy. This sub feels like the rest of reddit nowadays.. for example, all of the witty one-liner posts are up-voted to the top.

No one makes that drastic a change overnight without some sort of serious trauma. The signs are usually there, you just choose not to see them. Once again, bad decision making. Don't say this on network television, particularly ESPN, unless you want to be forced to apologize and then suspended for a week for making a common sense remark!

I disagree. There's plenty of good long term advice on here. No one said long-term relationships are beta... they're just not what they used to be. 66% of divorces are initiated by women. The chances that a woman will drop you and take half your income are increasing yearly. Women are also more likely to win in court. The article claims that 80% of children with separated parents live almost exclusively with the mother. Everyone suffers. People attempt to mend their emotional wounds with various…

If you go through your entire life thinking like this, you're gonna get blindsided by quite a bit of manipulation from others. It's part of human nature, thus the term "it's a dog eat dog world." Be alert.

Blue Pill guys will do anything to "get" pussy, especially put girls on a pedestal. /r/pussypass is so prevalent nowadays.. I was playing pickup soccer today and there was one girl and like 20 dudes playing. The girl had a blatant, intentional handball and everyone else pretended to not notice. I asked my friend if he saw the hand-ball and he said "well yeah, but.." 'Nuff said.

This is exactly what is being said in the book I'm currently reading: The War of Art. The author talks about this thing we all have, Resistance, which keeps us from achieving great things and ultimately happiness. Overcoming Resistance becomes harder and harder the more rewarding a task may be, such as works of art, tough degrees, or personal battles.

The ultimate blue piller. Instead of taking action against his problems and trying to change himself, he wallows in sadness and anger at the world which he feels entitled to. Thanks feminism.

Red pill in some aspects and blue pill in others. He has complete control over his kids and our mom (sometimes he tries to do too much). He's blue pill in the sense that he is constantly worried about everything, like our budget or the success of his children (even though all of us are pretty well off).

I started out with 2-3 months of SS to get a decent "strength" base. Then I hopped to a 5 day split for a few months, focusing on 1 muscle group a day. I found that I am young enough and have enough energy to recover fast enough and hit each muscle group twice a week, so I am no doing a 3 day split with 2 muscle groups being worked per day. I still do compound lifts (1 per lifting day, e.g. squats on legs + shoulders day, bench press on chest and triceps day, and deadlifts on back and biceps day…
/r/TheRedPill13/04/14 02:34 PM

I agree with that. It's good to build a base first as well. I started with SS for about 2-3 months and then hopped over to a split. I still do low rep high weight compound lifts though.

I may go against the popular opinion here but if you are really looking to build size and not particularly strength, I wouldn't recommend doing starting strength. It is, however, good for getting started with lifting + strength gaining. But as a bodybuilder, you should be doing those compound lifts anyways. Personally, I see the progress pics of people doing SS + GOMAD and it juste looks like they went from being super skinny to "skinnyfat." Which is okay for some people looking to just put on s…

It's (from my understanding) an evolutionary mechanism for women to test/weed out the beta males by testing the man's ability to maintain frame. An example would be a girl testing your ability to avoid the friend-zone by asking you to hang out with her and her friends.

Not that any of this matters anyway, we all know Dogecoin is the future. Honestly I could see women and children (read: young adults) being much more interested in putting some money into dogecoin, simply because it doesn't seem as intimidating. I know that when I got into crypto currencies at first, /r/Bitcoin seemed kind of like an elitist society. The dogecoin community is way friendlier to new users and I think this will benefit them a lot in the future as crypto becomes more mainstream.
