And not one single person in their lives was like, “you have a CHILD coming. Focus on him/her, not trolling for random d*CK online”? As a mother it makes me sick and angry on behalf of the little baby.

When and WHY did pregnant women on freaking dating sites become OK???

I’m so happy you’re still with us! You sound like a real stand up guy.

That baby can’t be more than 4 months old. It saddens me that she is trolling for dudes online vs focusing on him.

It’s just so freaking exploitative! And if the baby is that tiny, how about focus on him before trolling for dick? This shit never fails to piss me off.

Her baby is so tiny and WHY IS HER BaBY IN HER PROFILE PIC?

As a mother, trolling online for dick while pregnant is unconscionable. She’s expecting a baby. If her kids are her world why can’t she spend a few months and focus on her new baby? Just because I (married homeowner) have a six-figure job, I hear no end of judgements and abuse for wanting a third child. And she’s step-daddy hunting (won’t she get a prize; dating while pregnant) while readying to shit out her fifth. People like her piss me off to no end.

I’m not following you. But I am relating that there absolutely is pressure on women to resume-build. I don’t believe it’s right; I’m just saying it happens.

Male Colleagues & those in the mid-to-outer rings of my personal social circle.

Listen, I’m not saying I was universally appealing. But I am saying that I heard that enough about other women as well, that it’s left me with the impression that there are significant societal pockets where “build the resume or you’re unworthy of motherhood” pressure is real. When I was expecting my first child I was in my upper 20s and a married homeowner (husband in his early 30s). The HANDWRINGING I listened to at work about my horribly young age and lack of MS was out of control. Interestin…

That was the stated reason a couple times. Another was “I don’t see you ever getting promoted to executive”. Another was “You don’t seem passionate about your career.” OMG and the number of guys I had to reject bc they didn’t want kids. So irritating. It’s a real thing in liberal urban areas.

Hm. Back in my single days I got rejected by guys more than once (mid 20s) for not having a masters degree and/or for being dead-set on wanting marriage and kids. There’s a hell of a lot of pressure on some of us to get masters degrees.

Umm I have crippling migraines that sometimes leave me with no memory of the past several days. I’ve passed out at work because of them. I still have a high-paying Job. 🤔

The drive through and counter service tips are killing me. Just no. I do tip servers though bc their compensation model is built on that assumption.

Interracial kids are awesome and don't deserve to be lumped into the Tyrone's kids category As the mom of biracial kids... they're awesome because of who they are as human beings and because they're my kids. Not because they're biracial. However, I've been married a long time to their educated, tri-lingual biological father who has a good career, does all the adult things, and spends his free time and money buying penny stocks. Too bad he's only five-ten otherwise he'd be a nice catch.

Got it. One of my girlfriends recently found her husband on a gay hookup site.... they’ve been together since HS (almost 20 yrs!) usually I have good gaydar but this guy (only known him since I was gestating) blindsided me.

You’re suggesting he’s gay or cheating? I’m just trying to understand. He’s kind of ridiculous in that way. Has to be perfect or he wants to burn the world down. It’s a bit of a recent development; he’s let a lot of very negative people into his life in the last few years. In HIS words he has a problem with premature ejaculation. Medically someone who can stay hard for 5-10 minutes does not meet the clinical definition. When we were much younger he had more staying power of course... but aging h…

No. I hate condoms for the other reasons I mentioned. It feels like I’m fucking Saran Wrap. He feels like it’s the only way he can stay hard long enough.

Actually it’s my husband’s and my decision how many kids is “plenty”. We want more.

Ugh now that you mention it - my recent payraise changed our financial situation for the better. I wonder if the fact that I earn more could be the problem. Also, there’s nothing wrong with his staying power. He needs to understand he’s not 19 years old anymore.
