It depends on the situation and the independence you have there. If you have clear boundaries and you get along with your family it is actually really great. You save money have good people around etc.

Yes. I want to live my life on my terms and values. I don't want to apologize for being who i am and wanting the things I want. I want to pursue my goals and don't want my family to be against it.I discussed it a lot with them but they still don't understand. I realized that at some point you just have to ignore others and don't argument. The problem is that this way I would loose my family
