I see tons of dudes who want to "spoil someone" which I think is kinda weird too. Let them have their preferences and find each other, it doesn't affect anyone else. Honestly better she states it up front than to drop a bomb after a few (expensive) dates.

BP has a sex bot thread every few weeks to make fun of the RP or MGTOW sex bot thread that shows up every few weeks. The replies are largely jokes that the kinds of guys who think sex bots will destroy women's power forever will be helping women by taking themselves off the market when they buy one.

Unfortunately that's the whole point of this trash sub.

No it's not technically correct. Which is why I let that dude know he was using the wrong word. HtH.

It says this: "Where the context makes the meaning clear, a ratio in this form is sometimes written without the 1 and the colon, though, mathematically, this makes it a factor or multiplier." Aka if you wrote it like that its not a goddamn ratio. Please learn to STEM. I can write 22 as 4 that doesn't make 4 an exponent. This isn't even college math stuff you guys...
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/16 10:19 PM

No. See my other responses if you're interested in why. Or just Google it.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/16 04:59 PM

Sure he did I guess but that's still not how ratios work. That's like saying 2:1 = 2 = sqrt(4) so sqrt(4) is now a ratio. Wrong math, wrong words.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/16 04:51 PM
3

No that would still be 1 to 1. A ratio has 2 numbers in it. 1 on its own is just a multiplier. L 2 STEM, jeez.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/16 04:32 PM

1 isn't a ratio. Are you using the right word?

Most women do not sound like little boys and most people pick gender up instantly. Also it's really weird you care how old I am? ?? At any rate, neither an equivalent phrase nor disdain exists for men who identify as male while gaming or otherwise socializing on the internet. This is because saying you're male is accepted as "normal" but dinguses like you believe simply identifying as female is an attention grab. Which is the exact reason I used to avoid talking on teamspeak, to avoid dinguses w…

Teamspeak and the like out you pretty quickly. I still have have some involuntary feelings of anxiety speaking online because of bad experiences with TF2, Wow raids, etc. Even Tits or gtfo originated with stupid girls identifying themselves as girls when it was completely unnecessary. Ahahaha there's no way you actually believe this.

I think a lot of women have wasted time and money on educations that they don't really need, but I don't see not wasting that time and money as "limiting". I think a lot of men have wasted time and money on educations that they don't really need, but I don't see not wasting that time and money as "limiting".

Likewise it is automatic and instantaneous to have spousal support assigned I don't know of any state where that's true. Where I live spousal support is almost non existent. Now consider that 97% of people who pay alimony are men and only 3% are women. Alimony is an incredibly rare award in a divorce. You have to be an edge case for the concept to even be considered. Alimony is generally only rewarded when one spouse went out of the way to encourage an arrangement which limited the earning power…

There are some at the state level: section 8 and Medicaid in certain states are two examples. The USA does not offer any lifetime welfare programs. My point is neither welfare itself (cash payments to the poor) nor what you argue are "forms of welfare" (non cash benefits for the poor) need to be made temporary because they already are.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/15 05:23 PM
6

You have to be employed to receive SNAP for longer than 3 months in a 3 year period. You have to have a job to get the EITC. You might as well call SS or your mortgage or interest deduction "welfare" even though you have to earn them. You can get section 8 for life if you live in poverty your entire life but you have to get section 8 in the first place, which is incredibly hard. Many people who qualify for section 8 will never get it. Medicaid depends on state and plenty of those states do not o…

Largely poor sources like pop Sci articles and books, most of which don't support the actual central point of his hypothesis when you click through and read them. Some individual details may be correct (women report declining happiness levels since x) but no connection whatsoever is proven to his larger "point" that women are incapable of identifying what makes them happy. It's a typical creationist argumentative style called the Gish gallop.

Men, on the other hand, with smaller amounts of oxytocin, lean toward the tried and true fight or flight response when it comes to stress -- either bottling it up and escaping, or fighting back. Fight or flight is stoic?! Your own link says women handle stress better and men flip out because of oxytocin. Your link doesn't sort any part of your original point where high TRP = stoic.

Everyone who isn't a TRPer already knows this. It's the same sort of people who fall for MLM, cults, etc. The false sense of superiority is important to keeping the illusion of righteousness alive in the face of cognitive dissonance. The more you recognize and accept your own emotional responses, instead of pretending they don't exist, the better. Keep it up.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/15 09:20 PM

Regret is a fee fee! The human experience is inextricably linked to and governed emotion. No human exists on logic alone; pretending otherwise is willfully ignorant. I sincerely respect and appreciate your ability to recognize and feel regret.

/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/15 02:29 AM

So what is your actual point? I said people do not praise certain behavior advocated by TRP because it is completely normal, everyday dating behavior. I can't figure out what that has to do with fat Americans.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/15 12:58 PM

Most Americans are old and already have families.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/15 12:25 PM

The average population or a simple majority of the population determines normalcy by definition. Most humans seeking a mate to reproduce maintain a healthy lifestyle. That's the reason making fun of fat people looking for fit mates is funny, for example; it's outside the norm.

RPers often use hypergamy and sexuality interchangeably. The other day a RPer told me Iranian society suppresses female hypergamy. This of course makes no sense where hypergamy means "marrying up" as Iranian women are free to do this. It only makes sense when hypergamy means female sex drive outside of marriage.

Most of the techniques that are acceptable are just things normal human beings do. Go outside, talk to women instead of being a coward, joke with them, express your interest, etc. Normal people aren't going to praise normal behavior, it's a baseline for the majority of humans.

Its a study you interpret as supporting your view, but it doesn't. Much like how creationists always get exited when carbon dating dates a modern object as 1000s of years old, but neglect to mention that isn't what carbon dating is for. Not everyone makes money or spends money in a mlm but it's still a scam. I'm on mobile and I'm not going to c+p a bunch of easy to Google search results for you, sorry.

No studies support TRP. There are multiple kinds of compensation, and if I didn't include them all from the start I mean to include them all now. Shit like this is the reason reality TV gets new victims every year even though they're paid nothing. Everyone wants 15 seconds of fame and a fake pro TRP FR gives you that. /r/PurplePillDebate02/07/15 05:03 AM

I am saying the studies are rare and poorly understood, they don't drive the dogma of TRP. The dogma of TRP is shaped by personal anecdotes and selective memory. Just Google "banned from TRP" it's trivial to find people banned for nothing. TPP only exists because TRP shuns dissent. The same way evolutionists can't post on creationist forums and break the bubble, they must form off site groups. And like a pyramid scheme or scientology, only top scammers are paid in TRP. Just because everyone didn…

All of your points are false. Tons of people make money off TRP, TRP constantly enforces trusting your gut over facts, TRP rarely uses scientific evidence, ECs are revered despite having no credentials. People are banned for disagreeing with status quo in both TRP and ask TRP and even for disagreeing with ECs. People are banned from TRP before they've even posted there. That's a red flag.

Scientology is ridiculous on its face regardless of their belief in helping others, good citizenship, etc. Alternative medicine nuts encourage people to eat healthy, exercise and take care of their body but I'm not going to seriously consider crystal healing. Libertarians have few to no good ideas and all libertarian counties are shitholes so that's another fine example, thanks.

Lots of bad philosophies have a few legitimate ideas. That doesn't make them legitimate at all.

I understand what you say in the way I understand what being clear and OT mean in scientology. That doesn't make those terms correct or useful.

Clarity and precision are not that important. I can clearly and precisely explain ghosts, who cares?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/15 05:18 PM

Sure, people do this all the time on alternative medicine forums. Hundreds of thousands of them, way way more people than the population of TRP participate in non traditional cancer cures all around the world. They also use crystals, black salve, Chinese medicine, etc. They have a large arsenal of cancer treatments they have tested.

It's pretty misandrist to claim men are solely motivated by sex.

That's not a fact either. I don't think you know what that word means. And you sound like a cultist.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/15 05:48 PM

Why? I don't have to prove anything at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/15 05:44 PM
1

Well if you've got an anecdote that's definitely the same as a fact. ..
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/15 05:41 PM
1

So? All men want to have sex with men, it's a universal phenomenon. Edit: this is in response to your original comment "No, gayness has been pretty conclusively demonstrated to be immutable." Cool edit bro.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/15 05:35 PM
1

That's pure conjecture on your part. I might as well say all men would be gay if society wouldn't judge them.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/15 05:23 PM
1

So you are saying a universal phenomenon is one that exists in all populations, not one that is experienced by all people. Sure a tiny amount of any population may be gay and a tiny number of women may desire to be in a harem and they could exist anywhere in the world with our without the support of society. They are still both minorities. Most women will not share a man of any quality.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/15 04:34 PM
1

So it's a universal phenomenon that doesn't happen universally?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/15 04:19 PM

Fishermen rarely consistently outperform each other and rely on luck.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 02:11 AM
1

AWALT is a discussion of female behavior. Fishermen are poor judges of fish behavior. Catching fish doesn't mean understating their behavior just having the biggest net.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/15 08:02 PM
1

Fishermen don't classify fish, biologists do. Fishermen are superstitious and believe crazy shit about not bringing bananas on boats and women tie better flies because of their hand oils and fishing is better on cloudy or rainy days .. the list goes on and on. Putting around watching your sonar go off isn't an understanding of fish. But AMALT so I don't blame them.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/15 05:36 PM
1

Asking a woman is pointless. RP clearly says women give wrong answers about their behavior.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/15 05:01 PM
2

The RP has no internal consistency that's not my fault. Ironically, AWALT can't be defined by you because AMALT.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/15 04:57 PM
1

I thought TRP was a simple life truth but I guess not. So what if TRP agrees a concept is true but but they don't know any details of that concept... is it unknowable or unknown? You can say read the sidebar but AWALT is covered there and it says the opposite of what you say. You are not physicists. .. Everything you say is easily understood and rejected by laymen.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/15 05:18 AM
1

That's terrible advice. Don't ask a fish, etc. Give some real help.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/15 05:10 AM

So you/she are saying AWALT, its just that RPERS don't agree with what "THAT" actually is.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/15 11:14 PM

None of that shows am ugly women actually having sex with anyone, is just emails and talk.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/15 11:11 PM

If they aren't genetic then what is the evolutionary advantage of mating with alphas?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/15 11:10 PM

Neither of those is true because humans are social animals. Neither of tosser are human instincts.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/15 11:09 PM

Ok I looked and didn't see anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/15 11:08 PM

That's not how average works. If 90% of people were attractive >5 and 10% were unattractive <=5, the average person would still be attractive >5 I think you're thinking of the mode.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/15 11:07 PM
7

Ugly people aren't a minority. Do you find most people you see everyday attractive? This question doesn't count if you live in LA... Having sex outside relationships is normal and common. Conflating the two is ignoring reality.

Slurlt shaming is thev equivalent of gay shaming. No one cares anymore, get over it.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/15 05:33 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/15 05:30 AM
4

But only women. Men fucking around is fine and RP
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/15 05:23 AM
0

And be attractive
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/15 05:14 AM
1

What is the evolutionary advantage of breeding with an alpha if they are not actually genetically superior? If moving from beta to alpha is as simple as reading a script then women would not choose alphas.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/15 05:04 AM
1

Roar are both text book AWALT, searching RP for either of those things show this is basic RP stuff.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 11:17 PM
1

Those are not male instincts at all. You can't say AMALT about any of the things you just named.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 11:09 PM
5

Polygamy means multiple marriage by definition...
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 06:49 PM
0

Why? How is that better? An alpha can never be a beta and vice versa, is just a pale imitation. Your ancestors had both, no need to limit yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 06:48 PM
-2

They're still BB and most of them aren't even rich, it's not much to write home about IMO. Like calling your Walmart AM job a successful career because at least you manage other people. Now if you locked down a rich beta and were fucking a real alpha on the side that would be a proper RP and evo psych success.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 06:37 PM
1

So all men are not polygamous. All men want to be polygamous. Those are two different sentences with two different meanings. I do not think all men would want to marry multiple women, sorry.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 06:29 PM
8

You can never love a man and are constantly looking for a new branch to swing to? Seems like a rough life.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 06:20 PM
3

RPW don't seem to obtain higher value men than anyone else. Unless there's a RPW "best suites in Monaco" thread I missed. Evolution didn't stop and we are still animals who use our instincts to obtain and maintain a high quality generic legacy. That is AF/BB, not trying to LTR an alpha. There is no evolutionary evidence that an alpha LTR is a good survival mechanism.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 06:16 PM
0

It got you here through millions of years of evolution. Seems like it works.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 06:06 PM
1

You still haven't shown any scenario better than AF side piece and a BB LTR... BB is on lock down permanently because he's beta but but she doesn't swing because she's fucking an Alpha too. This is the best case scenario for women which is why it is such a common RP theme.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 06:05 PM
1

The chances are pretty good since it's the best selling work of fiction ever -- and not at all RP. Simply having psychopaths in a work of fiction doesn't make it RP either.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 05:56 PM
4

All men have multiple wives?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 05:54 PM
5

Why does RP encourage men to follow their instincts but women to curb them?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 05:41 PM
2

"In it's" means "in it is".
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 05:40 PM
3

What drives are those? If nature selected for them and they served your ancestors, why ate you fighting them now?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 05:39 PM
-1

What exactly are they working on? AWALT because of evolution. Fighting it is against their biological best interest.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 05:38 PM
0

All women will branch swing regardless of attractiveness so it doesn't matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 05:24 PM
1

Oh who's the alpha, Don quixote or sancho panza? Is Agatha Christie a RPW?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 05:22 PM
-1

There is no good reason to pursue a LTR with an alpha. There is no evolutionary advantage. Alphas are liable to leave for another woman when you get old. Beta LTR makes way more sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 04:14 PM
-2

But RPW does not help women gain long term beta bucks, so it is not useful in that way either. They want to capture alphas long term, which has no value whatsoever except their own gina tingles. RPW strategy is suboptimal according to RP. RP theory does nothing to help women gain beta bucks (long or short term) probably because this is a trivial problem to solve for most women.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 02:23 PM
1

Tebow is a virgin, that's omega as hell.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 02:10 PM

They are best sellers because so many adults are reading them. Why isn't RP fiction more popular among adults I'd it gets their panties wet, etc.?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 02:08 PM
-3

Betas will give a woman money without commitment on top of her own income, welfare, social security, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 02:07 PM

Smart therapists. I wouldn't expect that they would discuss gang stalking with a schizophrenic either. Which is also why they creates their safe spaces to fight stalkers.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 12:54 PM
1

So I shouldn't spend too much time with myself. How do you recommend I achieve that?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 12:52 PM
-1

What about RP theory says it is natural or preferred for women to get commitment? Women want alpha sperm and beta money, none of that requires commitment.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 12:50 PM
1

How much of TRP is confirmation bias? How can you tell which parts are sound and which pays you believe in because you want to?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 12:48 PM

Harry Potter is beta, the dudes in twilight are beta, that pointless guy in hunger games is beta
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 12:41 PM

Evidence that there are shared behaviors among all sexually successful men. Of alpha was just used to mean sexually successful them is a tautology but you also user it to describe personality traits.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 12:23 PM

You thought right. That is a beta by any reasonable definition. Who is my enemy in this scenario? I hope you don't think it's this guy... he doesn't register on my care radar.

You have a lot of baggage. Most women would not be interested in that.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 06:07 AM

TRP seems to spend a lot of time talking about fiction. I could write a book where the most beta-est beta becomes the prince of girlfuckistan but that doesn't make it real.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 06:05 AM
1

How is he an alpha? How is he a rogue and not a true leader of men? He runs a pro-women charity which is very beta.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 05:59 AM
-1

RP encourages men to be sociopaths, so I disagree.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 05:50 AM
1

It also only makes sense for men in sex based relationships. It is completely meaningless for women in all cases, evidenced by the fact that RPW would not date RP men.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 05:42 AM
1

Why do you not believe in confirmation bias?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 05:20 AM

Fathers are alphas because alpha fucks.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 05:10 AM

Can you name any white alphas? Does this mean alphas are followers and betas are the true leaders?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 05:04 AM

All men are betas by this definition . 80/ 20 doesn't apply because 20% are not criminals
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 05:04 AM

Do you have evidence for any of this? Or is this just stuff you think?

Sex is very important and makes me happy.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 04:58 AM

Even TRP says men should not express their emotions around women. For the record a think expressing your emotions and throwing yourself a pity party are 2 very different things. This is the latter
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/15 04:46 AM

Sounds like RP men are damaged goods. I'll pass on the baggage.

Change all your posts, they're terrible. I have no evidence you did or didn't listen to that anymore than you have evidence reddit does or doesn't listen to FPH. Besides that a tyrant can listen to you and not give a fuck. Your definition is totally useless and doesn't apply at all to the real world.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/15 08:32 PM
1

Nay
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/15 08:19 PM
1

Girls are attracted to men with high SMV and SMV increases with age ane money. Their women want rich old beta bucks. Calling old men greasy perverts is shaming language. It is OK to be old and rich.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/15 08:18 PM
1

No you're wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/15 08:15 PM

So if everything is tyranny why point it out? Your post is tyranny because I can't change it. The sun is tyranny because I can't change it, 9 to 5 it's tyranny, potato chip flavors are tyranny. Nothing isn't tyranny now.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/15 08:14 PM
1

So then nothing isn't tyranny and the word becomes meaningless.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/15 06:11 PM

RP is about playing the averages. There is no reason to look at exceptions when you can know the rules. AWALT ... men want young women. .. and age improves a man's SMV. Assuming otherwise is silly.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/15 06:08 PM

That definition makes basically every private enterprise on Earth a tyranny.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/15 04:50 PM

People with cancer try a lot of conventional options before they resort to faith healing and realigning their chakras. So sure, I believe it.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/15 01:56 AM

It's a basic RP truth that a man's SMV increases with age and wealth.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/15 01:49 AM
1

All women want beta providers. Children are a red herring bc old men can sire children and they can be sperm jacked too. Not to mention sugar babies are dating older men, not generally geriatrics. Our they just fuck a young alpha, who cares? Older men also have higher SMV than young men so they are better partners. Sugar babies fuck the men worth the highest SMV they are doing way better than RPW. Pretty much all of this is RP sidebar stuff.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/15 01:14 AM
1

Women don't care if they're with an ugly old man, a man's SMV has much less to do with his looks than his money and SMV increases with age (men age like wine, etc.) This is basic RP stuff. RP also says women are hypergamous money-grubbers who are always trying to trade up to better providers whose achievements they can exploit -- which is exactly what sugar babies do. They are model RP women.

Not the same thing as a theory. I'm a computer programmer, man. I'm not ignorant just because I don't agree with you.

I have to continue to consider RP as it publicly and communally frames itself instead of accepting your outlier opinion. We will have to agree to disagree.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/15 03:10 PM

So why do TRP sidebar articles use the word theory over and over? I'm just going by what TRP consistently calls itself.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/15 02:28 PM

Sure, TRP doesn't work. Chinese herbal medicine doesn't cure cancer. These are null hypotheses.

http://www.dtic.mil/doctrine/jfq/jfq.htm http://www.au.af.mil/au/ssq/ http://usacac.army.mil/cac2/militaryreview/index.asp Etc. I don't think there's a branch of the military that just sits around waiting for the next war saying "Well we can't really apply the scientific method to warfare so let's just try whatever"
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/15 03:34 AM
1

I don't think you know what that means. A scientific study on ice cream preference is not anything resembling argumentum ad populum.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/15 03:23 AM

Ther are research papers published on military strategy. Also this is why war games exist.

You could easily study which is preferred by the general population.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/15 02:45 AM
1

TRP does not offer me any self improvement advice. I already lift so there's nothing left for me to take from it.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/15 02:43 AM
1

Then why can't TRP be properly studied by science?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/15 07:47 PM
1

Applied what to myself? TRP has absolutely nothing to offer me.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/15 07:47 PM
1

Sure, my personal experience. My marriage ended over lack of sex. Now I get laid all the time, it's awesome.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/15 07:12 PM
1

I won't believe TRP works until I see evidence. If you don't have any that's fine. You're not going to convince me with anecdotes so if that's all you have you're wasting our time. The premise of the thread is that TRP works on the stupid and I will challenge that premise until evidence is provided. Also, you read me about as wrong as you could, mate. I especially don't trust your observational skills and experience now.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/15 04:59 PM
1

No I don't think there would be. People do sex and dating studies all the time. It's a bad idea to frame it as trying to prove TRP because that's a shit way to do research, presuming the answer before you start. But just do a study on negging or something, see how it goes. You feel it works so you believe it. That's how confirmation bias works, you remember what suits your conclusions because it feels good to be right. It's why you can't do studies on yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/15 04:14 PM
3

No I wasn't alive. Hence I am much happier now ;)

Without feminism I wouldn't have a good office job so I like feminism. What is that, first wave? That's good stuff.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/15 03:47 PM

If no scientific study can ever be done on sex then how do people keep making them? Again, it's OK that you feel your belief in TRP is informed by your experiences. I am not going to go off my feelings on this one, I would prefer to see evidence. Until I do I am not going to argue from the unsupported premise that TRP works.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/15 03:45 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/15 03:23 PM

You are confusing theory with hypothesis. You can say anything is a hypothesis. Praying to ganesh cures malaria is a hypothesis. I don't believe you are doing any of your research scientifically if you don't know the difference between a scientific theory and a hypothesis.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/15 03:21 PM
1

So there is no scientific evidence that TRP works, just anecdotes. I'm glad we could reach this mutually agreeable conclusion. Wrt the original topic, TRP has not been proven to work on either dumb or smart women, so discussing it is pointless much like discussing why obsidian only cures IBS and not Crohns is pointless. It doesn't work either way.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/15 03:11 PM
1

You feel they support your personal beliefs but because they are not part of a double blind study you are certainly suffering from confirmation bias, poor methodology, etc. It's very unscientific. I can find 110k people who think crystal healing and Chinese herbs and faith healing worked for them when they were sick and desperate. I can find 10 or 100 times that many anecdotes. I still cannot "make a good guess" that I can cure my IBS with rose quartz charged by the sun. Argument by anecdote is …
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/15 02:44 PM
1

How so?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/15 02:08 PM
1

The same is true if crystal healing, there is a conspiracy by scientists to repress it. Also because of sympathetic vibrations, it can never be proven by skeptical scientists. TRP is turning out to be more like crystal healing than I initially thought, good point.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/15 02:07 PM
0

That's still an anecdote. Anecdotes are feelings, not facts. There is no evidence that TRP works. Just feelings. It's fine to have feelings and intuition but you should accept them for what they are.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/15 02:05 PM

Making a statement isn't actually evidence. I have seen Bigfoot. Therefor there is evidence that Bigfoot exists. Therefor Bigfoot exists. QED.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/15 04:46 AM

This is really repetitive. I have seen no evidence that those things "bring results." Please provide some if you have it. I do not believe in things for which there is no evidence.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/15 04:36 AM

There is the same amount of scientific evidence for both. Please pick one thread to repeat yourself in, double posting is pointless.

/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/15 04:03 AM

I am interested in evidence, not anecdotes.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/15 04:02 AM

So far as I know, yes. Show me some evidence otherwise
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/15 03:56 AM

I have seen no evidence that they work.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/15 03:50 AM

The placebo effect existing is not at all the same thing as homeopathy working. .. "I concede that cupping won't work every time but things like Homeopathy, acupuncture, crystal healing, chiropracty, Chinese herbal medicine, pyramids Will heal you without fail." I can't take that statement any more seriously than I can take yours.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/15 03:35 AM
2

In that case, how can crystal healing not work? Every time I rub them on my joints they feel better.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/15 03:21 AM
3

I've never seen any evidence that TRP actually works so I can't say too much about it. Ten times as many people testify every day about homeopathy curing their ills than about TRP working and I don't buy what they're selling either.

How is anxiety most clearly associated with negative emotionality? That is a completely arbitrary and unscientific statement. Both violent rage and suicidal depression are much more negative emotions with the capability to cause real physical harm. Anxiety sucks but it isn't a danger to society.

You continue to take this in a weird personal direction. Please remember the topic is the friend zone, not convincing me my tone is insufficiently respectful of your opinions. For the record I don't think TRP is improved in any way by your criticizing men. You don't shatter any stereotypes by judging other men, that's honestly something I fully expect here. I said what I meant about the friend zone, same as the top commenter. You just can't believe it I guess.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/15 04:16 AM

Why is typical male solipsism circle jerking? There is no rule against replying to two people in the same way so it's irrational for you to be mad about that.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/15 03:36 AM
-4

You're not making a rational argument here. Someone making the same statement twice is to be expected. My statements are consistent. You're responding to a percieved insult instead of the point, which is something a typical woman would do.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/15 03:28 AM
-3

Why do you think I have to ask a question in order to have a discussion? You can easily have discussions through statements. The friend zone is caused by typical male solipsism. The top rated comment in this thread agrees with me. I still can't figure out your particular point here except that maybe you're tone policing or concern trolling? Not sure if..

I agree 100% with this statement but I still believe your original comment is wrong. Non-religious circumcision did not start as an effort to control male sexuality. There was non-religious circumcision well before 20th century America. Ancient Egypt and many African tribes believed it promoted cleanliness, acted as an initiation into manhood, etc. Some modern African tribes shame men who are not circumcised because they haven't satisfied their obligation to their community to "become men" -- th…

So every liberal Hollywood producer is a secret RP conservative republican? Or like half? What's a ballpark figure? What do they gain from this?
