Beware men, an alpha can lose to a betabitch in the right circumstances, therfore you have to blend in enough beta to keep her latched in the long term. Yes, most who find RP are far too beta and so we swing towards improving the alpha and sometimes neglect the beta entirely. I believe this is partly the reason that we are told to work silently and slowly on the RP principles. Even if the wife desires more alpha and having more would be good for the relationship, stopping the beta abruptly can c…

I made it to initiating three times a week and somehow she's now preemptively scheduling for the evenings every other day this last week. Time to change it up (you should have already) and not make it just an evening thing. That's her hamster working to avoid having sex with you.

No porn or fapping during #NoNothingNovember, though I already jerked off on November 1. Haha. Sorry, but that's really funny. Listen, just do it. It's a mental mindset. Some of the other stuff you listed will take time. Improving your finances will take time. Learning Spanish? That's a time investment. No porn takes no time, it only takes effort (in fact, it gives you more free time!). If you can't apply effort that lots of your other stuff is shot. Keep it up.

Poster in TRP had a fabulous thought on Rollo's post, which was basically that Christian women can be the worst kind of wives because in their minds they never have to be good enough for their husbands or please their husbands. They are only trying to please Jesus and they believe that he will never leave them, so who really cares if their husband is unhappy?

IDGAF does not mean we don't care about anything. It means we don't care about things that we can't affect the outcome of, or things that aren't important to our frame. Of course we care about things. IDGAF means we don't waste needless energy on useless things.

Your frame will be a direct offspring of how you want to live your life. You recognize your passions, talents, ambitions and desires, and then conduct yourself in a manner that will allow you to pursue and achieve those outcomes. Frame is your speech, your actions, your appearance (dress and body shape), your knowledge. When those items fail to be aligned with your vision, you have not held frame.

No, I don't think our wives will just figure all of it out. I do think that they will figure most of it out through our actions. Women communicate covertly, so this isn't a covert contract because that's the method of communication they prefer. Only a frustrated woman who is at her wit's end will initiate overt communication. So should we communicate with our wives? Of course. Should verbal communication be our preferred method if we are trying to demonstrate a dominate and positive frame? No wa…

Well, the closet will be a mud-room type thing, the rest of the room will have two desks for doing homework, a place for the computer, a rug in the middle, etc. I took up the carpet and revealed the concrete, and then painted it and put a gloss on it, so it's just concrete floor. Looks cool. It will be a nice room. I'll try to get some pictures up.

The past two weekends I've built a bench and shelving unit in a closet in a bedroom that we are converting to a multi-use room for the kids. It's a place for them to hang back-packs and put their shoes under the bench, etc. I need to paint it now (this is happening tomorrow). This is uncharted waters for me in some regards, but I credit MRP with pushing me to get there. EDIT: 30 minutes later, but I wanted to throw in this knowledge bomb from Rollo regarding having hobbies, ambitions and passion…

Just read this from Rollo and it's too good to not post. "It is a Man's capacity to perform and demonstrate (never explicate) higher value that genuinely motivates women to accommodate mutual needs in a relationship, not communication or reasoning."

The only proper response would be one to her sister which would be "why don't you drive her over here and we can all snuggle it out together." Sheesh. AWALT. It's simple: either you find value in giving her a ride or you don't. That's it. Only you can answer that. Don't second-guess your decision.

Receiving one morsel of intimacy does not a happy marriage make. You will have to work this hard and fight this hard each and every step of the way. Some of those battles will be with yourself (proper diet, lifting heavy weights, keeping your hair trimmed) and others will be with your wife (shit test, comfort test). Some will be overt (such as what you wrote about) and others will be covert (you knowing that rejection is better than regret but failing to internalize it). Battle on.
/r/askMRP29/10/15 05:39 PM

She's into you Not necessarily. What she says is not important. Many a women have drug their husband along, dangling the sex carrot in front of them, only to give them a morsel once every three weeks. Do you know what those men heard every night for the 20 days in between receiving the morsel? They heard "not tonight, tomorrow." The words mean nothing. "Tomorrow" only gives her 24 hours to come up with another excuse for not having sex with you.

I was sitting in the bathtub reading MMSLP and my wife walked in to ask if she could get in. I said sure. Once she got in I started rubbing her shoulders and back and then moved to the front, nothing overt. I think she sensed I was going to initiate so she leaned forward and said she was getting out. What a raging bitch. Husband is naked. Asks if she may join him naked, and then she leaves when she assumes he is making a move. Well no SHIT! She believes her vagina owns you. Break the chain. That…

The next morning, your wife may want to kiss you goodbye before you go to work, as she often likes to do. You will be upset once again, wondering why she gets the attention and intimacy of a kiss while you get nothing in return. This is only viewed as attention and intimacy from a man's point of view. Very few women view it as such, especially women where they refuse to have sex with their husbands.

Do not respond to your friend's question. That's my opinion. If you unplug him too quickly or in the wrong order, it won't work. He has to work through some sidebar literature, make notes, do the exercises (such as those in NMMNG) and apply it. He will see a change and take 2 steps forward, 1 step back. You should be there to support this continual studies and application. Discussing frame with him at this point is a moot issue. He can't fix frame unless he has a valid understanding of beta cond…

I have a negative opinion of families with a SAHM setup, but they're mostly personal. And I have the opposite and they are all personal. I view it as 1) the husband can't get his shit together and get a decent paying job and/or 2) their family budget is out of control and they are spending beyond their means. To each this own, but I will never think a Man is great for placing his family is a position where she has to work.
/r/askMRP28/10/15 05:36 PM

Easy to answer from a logical (Man's) perspective. Who watches the kids while the wife works and how much does that cost? How much does the wife make after childcare costs are factored in? Is that amount of money worth having somebody else influence your young children (childcare provider) or would it be more beneficial to have their mother be the major influence during the day? That's my line of thinking.
/r/askMRP28/10/15 05:34 PM

This was my wife to a T. Same exact scenario. Just don't respond. She might throw more your way, ignore. DO NOT RESPOND. You are a Man and you don't have to respond to every question. What she says or does is not your business. Your job is NOT to provide her with all the answers. Your job is NOT to make her happy. You can't control her, but what you can control is your lack of response to her.

Nothing is a greater turn-off for your wife than a man who whines or who is indecisive. If you are both of those things then her attraction to you is doomed. Sounds like you figured this out. As with most RP things, it's counter-intuitive to what our BP fem-centric societal conditioning has taught us, but it absolutely works. Well done. To your question, stick with it if it works. As you continue to present a positive frame to her she will enjoy being in it.
/r/askMRP28/10/15 04:45 PM

I asked for help because I'm not good at this, you give me "divorce her over the shirts" and I'm considered time wasting? How about withdrawing affection from her? Not responding to her when she whines? As she increased compliance with things you desire, your attention towards her also increases. Think of it as if you are dealing with a 4 year old. If they are good they earn some ice cream.

There was no reason to have that conversation. I know that seems like a painful idea, but it's true. You are deployed, so you can't act on it. You can't even count it as foreplay because you are deployed. The only outcome from that conversation is a negative one. You would either score a -1 or a 0. Might as well have STFU and kept the 0 you already had going into the conversation. Keep at it, good job with the reading...now apply it appropriately to your situation.

Great points. An excellent post on CH yesterday about "How to Stand Like an Alpha Male God": https://heartiste.wordpress.com/2015/10/26/how-to-stand-like-an-alpha-male-god/ Summary: Be big, be wide. Hypergamy. She has to convince herself that she didn't slut it up, even though she probably did. "I didn't do anything wrong" only means that she did. If she didn't then it wouldn't even be a conversation point. Batten down the hatches, there is a shit storm brewing.

MRP has led me to drop 30 lbs (almost back to college weight, holy shit!), practice guitar, work on my own projects, start rebuilding my social network, keep my house in order, be a more attentive father -- I'm starting to become the person I want to be. Ultimate shit test to make sure she has him by the balls. This is the worst kind. Hard NOs all the time to initiation, yet they flirt with you all the time. That "flirting" is just enough to string him along and convince him that he will get some intimacy that night. In NMMNG these nice guys are called "table dogs", they hang around their women in hopes of getting a scrap of sex.
/r/askMRP27/10/15 08:02 PM

I disagree, as you know. This is not a pressing issue. It is not life and death. It isn't logistics. This was absolutely the time to show her that he is so busy that he doesn't have time to respond to complaints from the peanut gallery. He needs to discuss this with her in person.

From Rollo: "Arguments about chores, money, sex life, and romance are most common in couples where the woman makes all or most of the family's decisions...Women can handle making more money in a relationship, but they despise being the leader in a relationship. You handled it poorly because you are trying to maintain frame via text messages. You are trying to logic your way into leadership. Stop. Why even respond in the first place? All these "RP" men must have nothing to do with their day. So much free time that they can have entire conversations about Whole Foods with their wives via text.
/r/MarriedRedPill27/10/15 06:43 PM

I understand texting is rarely ideal for anything besides logistical communication, but I was in a deposition and couldn't call her. Frankly, there is nothing in your post that even warrants a response to her text. You've dug your own grave on this one by completely entering her frame. This conversation did not need to happen in any way, shape, or form. 1. Acta, non verba. 2. STFU. 3. Things get progressively better with further study.

I can't think of consequences that don't make me come across a brat. "Since you didn't do the dishes, I'm not gonna play with you today!" Divorce is rather improbable. Yes, and in terms of our marriage relationships, our wives will never love us the way we expect them to. This is because men love idealistically and women love opportunistically. She loves the way you make her feel, and any man who can replicate those feelings will work.

Not two forms, just variations within the same response. STFU in it's literal sense means "no verbal response", right? That could mean turning your back and physically leaving the room. It could mean smiling and winking. It could mean smirking and patting somebody on the head. It could mean ignoring them completely while staying in the room. Those could be responses to shit tests. STFU could be a response to a comfort test where you give her a hug and a kiss on the forehead. No words are spoken …

Not everything is in the reading, you are free to come to your own logical conclusions. I know that in my life, in my dealings with my wife and my children, the simplest form of amused mastery is no response at all. A strange smirk is all it takes. It says "your argument/position/tantrum is so deficient and below me that I'm not even going to verbalize a response." Second to this would be the smirk with a pat on the head (or perhaps a kiss on the forehead). This is different than STFU by turning…

They're essentially feminism's beta orbiter. They think that acceptance is just around the corner, that they're beloved oneitis really is just confused, and that they can rescue her from that confusion where they'll be happily ever after. So good. Well said.

Yes, all the betas get a boner and say in unison "this will show her!" and then they go home to do the dishes in hopes of getting a scrap of sex for the first time in 3 weeks. If they are lucky she will take her top off and let them play with her boobs while she flicks Facebook on her phone and gives them a hand job.

Better to be rejected than to live with regret. Ingrain that in your brain. If you don't initiate, you will get nothing. I initiate when it makes me happy. I don't initiate all day long non-stop because that becomes a covert contract (if I do X, then Red Pill says I'll be awesome). Excellent post. I really devoured this section/topic in The Rational Male. It made so much sense to me after reading it. Good piece. As he says, being beta makes sense...because we have been conditioned to believe the outcome matches the equation. What's the benefit for you? I cannot think of a single one. In honesty and hopes of motivating you, I don't think you've swallowed the red pill. I think you've thought about it, but that is all.

29% body fat on a guy (YOU) is fat. Leave her alone until you get your own act together. Furthermore, why would you say "are you really going to finish that, how many calories..."? That shows zero leadership skills and is very passive aggressive. She sees no oak in you, no alpha, not the family leader. You've got to change that first, then other things will follow. I go against the grain when it comes to MRP and marriage. I get the impression (and some have stated) that they are a part of MRP because they were already married when they swallowed the red pill. If they had to do it over they wouldn't get married. My thought is one that is echoed by Rollo Tomassi, essentially that marriage can be wonderful IF you enter into it with an understanding of hypergamy, the female psyche, etc. Swallow the pill and then get married if you choose. That's the proper way…

I've learned my wife does not forgive my trespasses and often brings them up during altercations. Literally lists them off. It's satire, but the reason it is funny is because it rings true. I've been there, I'm sure many of us have. And certainly the women who read that piece are thinking "yep, that's what it's like." What a shit show our brothers have let their lives become.

Treat this the same way you would treat a 4-year old throwing a tantrum. Because this is happening in private (ie, nobody else can witness the phone conversation or knows what she is saying) you IGNORE it. You do not feed the troll. This will continue to infuriate her hamster and cause her to bring about greater and greater shit tests. You continue to ignore it. Eventually you will tame that shrew.

This is a mess and all signs point to a highly dysfunctional ship and captain. At least you've admitted as much. The trouble with this situation is you bought her an SUV to use during bad weather, and now she is taking you up on that and actually wants to drive it. Time to be an adult and stop being a child. No woman wants to sleep with her child husband.

They must be immoral due to hypergamy. They seek alpha seed/beta need. One is for the best genetic make-up they can get, the other is for long-term security. Rarely can they find both in one male. Therefore, women must be (or have the capability to be) duplicitous and covert in their sexuality. Their hard-wired biological needs of hypergamy cannot be met if they are moral and mean what they say. Not all women are like this all of the time, but they all have the ability because it is what allows …

As our good friend Rollo Tomassi says, there is no such thing as a long-distance relationship. You aren't in a relationship. You are getting used in every fashion. You are jumping through hoops (long drive, etc.) for the off-chance that occasionally she will allow you to see her vagina. Look at her actions, don't listen to her words.

AWALT is a reminder that our crew will always behave like a crew member and the first officer will never become the captain. That's it. Nothing more, and certainly nothing less. It's true. The reason WHY is can be summarized by hypergamy and this: Men must become powerful to be loved; women and children need only exist. Women weaponize sex, for it is their trump card, and often, their only card. Simply put, men have to work to gain honor and respect. Women gain it by slinging around their vagina, or more specifically, the prospect of letting you see their vagina. How does this differing morality affect us? Consider some of these finer points: Women love children how men…

I've used the exact phrase you are discussing from MMSLP and it worked brilliantly. Also, I don't buy into any percentages. I simply believe we need to be an alpha male with beta traits. I believe that the phrase worked in my marriage BECAUSE of this. Something you have all the time is not valued. Alpha male with beta thrown into the mix occasionally means the beta is a surprise and is valued. Timing with her cycle also helps you to know when to deliver such a phrase.

You, my friend, have dug yourself a hole. At this point you know just enough to be dangerous but not enough to have any idea what you are doing. For a newbie to MRP: Do not text your wife. But the benefit of moving heavy weight is the hormonal response that accompanies it, which is just what many newbies to MRP are in need of. Why not mix the best of both worlds? Commitment. As Rollo points out, one of the great myths in our fem-centric world is that men are the ones afraid of commitment. Look at Johnny Betabux here. He didn't make a move because he was committed to the marriage. Look at his wifey. Her hypergamy dictated that she was moving on and moving up. Note: when a woman talks about commitment she is only referencing any commitment that will further her feminine-centric reality.

Good post. Yes, remember that women do not care about the things you do, only how those things make them feel. They are not capable of understanding the sacrifices that Men make. Do not equate your actions and sacrifices and effort in your LTR with value, because the women can't and won't. That's why the great MRP rule is to improve yourself (and have fun doing it!). Agreed! I like to pretend there is a point tally system when it comes to my frame. For a newbie to MRP, it is true that "STFU" won't get you any direct points, but it WILL prevent you from losing existing frame points. Again, for a newbie, STFU is a great way to go because you can't fail it. If you answer a question using a blue pill paradigm you will lose frame points. A man going his own way. As Athol says, there is a big difference between "do you want me to get you some coffee?" vs "I'm going to get coffee and you are welcome to come." One says you are doing it regardless of what her answer is, which means you are doing it for yourself, by your choice, because of your vision. Have you done the required RP reading? MMSLP covers this is an easy to understand manner. "I'm going to see MI5, want to come with me?" is the right way to handle it. You've framed it that you are going, and would like her to come, but the outcome is independent of her decision. You are going regardless of her answer. If she says no, you must be willing to walk out the door and go alone. Therefore this isn't a threat and you can't use it as such, but it is a true and valid statement that you are…

In this scenario you are a captain helping the ship fulfill its mission. It's the right thing to do in your circumstance. Do the minimum and make sure there is work for her to do when she is able.

Um, yeah, he can't keep her away from guys with a higher SMV but he should be smart enough not to have one move in with him!

Why worry about something you have NO CONTROL over. He does have control over it. He invited the guy with a higher SMV to stay in his home. It was his decision.

admittedly in better shape than I am, but has a long list of his own flaws. Well, there you have it. Better shape = higher SMV. Flaws? That's not how the body agenda works.

We live in a world where: standing up for oneself is viewed as abuse, making a decisive decision is viewed as controlling, and losing weight while getting jacked is viewed as manipulation. It's utter nonsense and a complete joke. The sheep can continue to wander aimlessly and devote their lives to appeasing everybody and never ruffling feathers. What a dreary existence. It is the Matrix.

You think you are alpha, or naturally alpha, but you probably aren't. It's possible you are just a dick. Read the sidebar material. It will take a while. Then re-evaluate yourself. You will come to some startling conclusions. We all have and continue to do so. The goal of my relationships is MY happiness. She's a 9.5 but drives you bonkers. Not happiness in my book.

Here is the post by Ironwood. Read it and apply it: http://theredpillroom.blogspot.com/2014/09/girl-game-encouraging-your-captain-to.html

Blame the wife, not yourself. Typical first response. Your ship is crashing and mission is compromised. The captain is at fault. Guess who that is? Whether you've been acting in that capacity or not (you haven't) it's you. You have a dead bedroom because she doesn't want to have sex...with you. The list of things you are "planning" makes me want to vomit. The red pill is a bitter pill to swallow, but it always reveals the truth.

You decided to lead in your marriage for once. Result: shit test (which is the expected outcome and you should have been prepared for this). Keep reading the course prerequisites and don't get discouraged. You jumped into the middle of battle without having any ammo first. Keep reading.

Honesty and holding frame that is true. No covert contracts. Focusing on you and your happiness. If it isn't doing it for you then it simply isn't. State that and remove yourself from the situation. This is not you throwing a tantrum, it is you showing (NOT TELLING) her that you don't have time for it. You have other things to do. No arguments, no battles. State the fact that move on. Act, don't discuss. Her hamster will do all the work for you beyond that point.

In response to #1: No it's not. You've quit before you've even started. Re-read the mandatory reading on the sidebar as a refresher. SMV isn't all about lifting. Fake alpha until you are alpha. It works.

Yes, she DOES care how high your SMV is and it DOES matter how much higher it is than hers. MMV is a beta concept and sounds like a crutch to those who can't or won't work on increasing their SMV.

You aren't hardcore alpha? Shocking, considering one is either alpha or not alpha. You are not alpha. We've found the problem. Stop blaming your wife.
