Not everything requires an answer.

Thinking about the shit my wife comes out with, about 40-60% of it doesn't require an answer.

20% doesn't deserve an answer.

So what will giving an answer gain me? In most cases, nothing. I stand to lose far more than I stand to gain.

Let it go. You don't always have to have the last word and quite often it'll do more harm than good.
