No. I’m not at all attracted to a provider who lacks discipline. Lack of loyalty = lack of discipline, and that’s a huge turn off for me. You mean you’re a man and can’t even deny your most basal desires for the betterment of your chosen family unit? It’s pathetic.

I believe that you’re not overreacting, and he has the right to also not clean out his following list. My husband cleaned his up. I had to pester him a lot, but in the end he removed every single female that wasn’t related to him by blood or marriage. Because we’re married and he doesn’t want me having random men on my pages either. I personally find it humiliating. I personally would take this as an indicator that you two may be incompatible. I also see it as a sign that he does not take this r…

You seem to want to be married to a financially stable doctor. Don’t blame you, but you can’t ignore red flags in exchange for a nice house and financial stability. Your post history is showing an abusive relationship. Leave before you have children and truly devalue yourself. You’re sexually incompatible, and he seems to lack empathy for you and your needs on many levels. His anger and mistreatment of you WILL escalate. Get a grip, finish school, find someone who actually loves you.

I was always the chubby kid, and then the plain fat kid. When I turned 18 I started going to the gym everyday. At first it was only for 20 minutes. And then 45 minutes. And then before I knew it, I was seeing results and I loved weight lifting and I was there at least 1-1.5 hours a day. The diet: I never focused on calorie counting, just made an effort not to overeat (so stop when you’re full), only drink water, and avoid regular sugary foods. The occasional dessert won’t kill you, but try to li…

As someone who has been hit abusively before, this isn’t the same. Please relax. You violated his space and boundaries while in pain and he swatted your hand away as a reflex. He didn’t hit you in the manner you’re trying to imply, but you feel the way you want to feel I guess.

In my experience, for innocent little things like this, I would just openly (in a non dramatic way, making it clear you know it’s irrational) ask for validation. As long as it isn’t a frequent and exhausting experience, I find most men like when their women get a little bit jealous and need validation. It’s healthy to think your partner is so desirable. Just make sure you don’t turn it into a fight, more like a playful and vulnerable conversation.

Fix the issue or get ready for a divorce. If you think being a “fantastic team” but only having sex a handful of times annually is going to work long term for any man, you are very mistaken. Being aware of your faults doesn’t mean anything if you’re still unwilling to work towards a solution. Think the IUD is the issue? Get it removed. Think his behaviors and yours are the issue? Seek therapy and work on fixing your dynamic. If you don’t give him sex, the tears he is showing you now are only the…

Penises do not stretch your vagina. Look into pelvic floor strengthening exercises. I just had a baby and actually got noticeably “tighter” after birth because of all the pelvic floor workouts I had been doing.

Eh this comment is whack. You should be in peak physical condition. I am in really good shape, wear a size small for most clothing lines, and eat really clean. I weigh 140 typically and I am a little over 5’4. You can see my ribs on the front of my chest so I definitely do not have weight to lose from here. I do pilates and yoga and some light jogging. Not bragging, just saying that weight is going to look very different for women depending on your body type, muscles, etc. My husband completely …

This is a conversation to be has prior to becoming serious with a man. My now husband and I discussed these things around the first month of exclusively dating. It’s not shocking that a man nearing his 40s does not desire children. However your biological clock is ticking and I would not waste another second on this man if you desire children. There’s no guarantee that you’ll be fertile into your mid-late thirties. This thinking is the reason for skyrocketing IVF and other fertility treatments i…

Yikes to that! Sorry you experienced that I will say I met up with VERY FEW guys from said dating app before meeting my husband. I met my amazing husband on a dating app so I don’t really understand the shade towards them on this sub 😅 You have to weed through a ton of duds to find a good man anywhere you look, and it’s arguably more efficient to do so online. But to each their own. Finding a good man is hard. Finding a good man who shares your values and is attractive to you AND is attracted TO you is even harder. Be patient. Be selective with who you waste time with. And try to stay away from bars. You’re more likely to…

Yeah I find it distasteful and thankfully my now husband is a pretty jealous person as well so doesn’t really discuss anything about past partners unless asked. If it makes you uncomfortable, I would definitely draw a clear boundary around that kind of talk if/when the topic comes up again. I don’t necessarily see anything wrong with a person in their 30s having a past, but to brag about promiscuity just displays a misalignment in values for me personally.

I think it is a red flag. My husband has never done this out of respect for me and our relationship. Temptation exists for both men and women. It’s called being a responsible adult in a consensually monogamous relationship. You censor your crass intrusive thoughts. I do think a man who’s unable to even silence his base desires in front of his partner is more likely to cheat on said partner.

Being a nurturing safe place for my family. I love feeding my husband, making our home feel inviting, spending time with our daughter. Honestly, primarily my daughter is my meaning, and building a great home and future for her. But nurturing my husband and I’s relationship is a part of that. Taking care of myself to provide a great example for her. And just living! Experiencing the weather each day, tasting great food, feeling at peace, etc. Life is beautiful if you let it be. Be healthy, clean, learn to present your looks in the most realistically flattering, relatively modest way. Educate yourself in a field that will attract the kind of men you seek. Stop sleeping with men who give you BS excuses like “you aren’t educated enough.” I think the main mistake that women like you make is wasting time on men who you like and see a future with, but who don’t see a future with you. Don’t sleep with guys who don’t want to commit to you. And if a man gives you some ultimatum…

We keep snacks and a Nespresso set up in our bedroom 🤷‍♀️ No bugs here. Just keep things clean. I sweep the floors, we have a trash can with the lid that opens when you hover your hand over it, and we’re adults so it’s not like we’re scattering crumbs everywhere. You should be fine. Based on your post history, you seem to have some attachment issues that you should address. You have known this guy for 2 months. He is giving a lot of indicators that he is not very attached to you. Why are you willing to derail your future for him? I don’t say no, and my husband tries not to either. I think rejection, especially if regular, can damage a relationship overtime. Of course there’s nuances and exceptions to all concepts like this but yeah overall, rejecting intimacy with your partner regularly can cause a lot of harm.

It depends on the person and the situation honestly.. I had dated other guys (like a one date and then I wasn’t interested based on their behavior, etc). I had been with two other men age 19 before meeting my now husband. We had talked for a while and our physical attraction was very strong so we went for it very early on. 5 years of marriage and a little baby girl later, I would say it all worked out.

Yes. Night and day difference. But to be fair, as a teenager I was not dressing well, was 50+ lbs overweight, and had no idea how to do my hair and makeup properly. I also changed those things while I lost weight. Dropped 70 lbs by the time I turned 19 and I met my now husband around the same time. The attention from men was very intimidating to me at the time because I wasn’t used to it so I know the shift was dramatic. Eventually I adjusted to the change.

In my experience, the more of a nurturing role I have played for my husband, the more he has been attracted to me through the years. Just don’t forget the spicier bedroom side of things too. That’s why making the time to go out on dates, dressing up, making an effort, buying some nice lingerie, maybe sending some spicy photos spontaneously, etc, is important. But I wouldn’t worry about being too nurturing unless it crosses the line into nagging/overbearing territory. Men are wired to want to pro…

Personally, I never shared clinical stuff about my ovulation while TTC. We knew we were trying. I just seduced him/took charge during my fertile windows, I never said when I was ovulating. But we are very uhh active regularly so it’s not difficult to get him going. I felt weird putting pressure onto something as natural and fun as intimacy. Currently 39 weeks. Alright, just saying to keep it in mind, especially if you plan to have multiple children as it’s advised to have a certain amount of time to recover between each pregnancy. The sign of poverty comment is an odd take, not going to lie. I am 25, 39 weeks pregnant, married for 5 years, my husband and I are business owners, and definitely not impoverished despite not being born into wealth. It’s a common misconception that the best age biologically to have children is mid thirties. There is a correlation between this relatively new social norm, and the increasing need for medical intervention when trying to conceive. The reality is a woman’s fertility typically peaks in their 20s and declines every cycle past that point. Of course everyone has a different timeline and it’s not too late to have children in your mid 30s for most women. This is why IVF treatments have become so increa…

You two sound compatible if you’re this lax about your futures. No reason for your credit to be that abysmal. Dig your heels in and work hard and pay your debts in a timely matter. Lose your dead weight boyfriend if you want to change. You’ve asked about this so many times and I don’t get what you’re hoping to achieve. No one is coming to save you. Echoing other sentiments here with a bit to add. This is who he is. I personally find that trait unattractive in a man, but you may be willing to live with it. Being passive aggressive won’t help and I doubt you will change this. Make sure you’re okay with this in all walks of life because he is going to expect a division of work that does not take your gendered strengths/weaknesses into account. Set your pride aside and do not react to negative behavior on his end. If he is withdrawing and being critical, give him space, take some deep breaths, and do not respond. Men typically respond better to behavior like this. I hate to liken it to this but, it’s almost like when you have a puppy and they do something bad, it’s usually advised to ignore them rather than give attention to the bad behavior, whether it be a negative or positive response. Strength training. Eat less. Focus on getting protein, fruits, and vegetables with each meal. Don’t overeat on fats. Limit processed foods and refined sugars. Drink water or black tea/coffee. That’s it. There’s no secret recipe. Weight loss is pretty straight forward. It’s the mental aspect of food that is hard to overcome. Edit: it seems your partner is recovering from a porn addiction that devastated you. Make sure your desire for weight loss is coming from a healthy place.

This is coming from a good place on his end. Are you married? If not, I would discuss that before you combine finances. However having a joint account and household budget removes a lot of these feelings that you’re having without taking from his provider role. Some men do not realize the weight of these things to their female partners and sharing your perspective may encourage him to keep private about it. I cannot relate 100%. Cooking is an important skill. If you are a parent and have not taught ALL of your children regardless of gender to be proficient in the kitchen, you have failed hugely as a parent. My mother had many flaws but she refused to send adults out into the world who were unable to feed themselves. I have been cooking entire meals from scratch since before I finished elementary school. A grown man who throws tantrums and then excuses it with feeling “disrespected” is a very dangerous thing. I would find this kind of behavior very difficult to look past. He lacks control and discipline and he’s inherently selfish - that is the root of this issue. I don’t see those things resolving themselves so quickly, if ever. I believe you’re observing poor leaders. A man who cannot respect his chosen wife and love her loyally lacks discipline. It is incredibly weak for a man to set such a poor example of love and loyalty to his family and then blame it on basal urges, which for me and many other women is a turn off. It depends on the lifestyle you’re seeking as a woman. I see a lot of ugly expectations from modern women seeking providers. Women are not biologically wired to contribute nothing to the family unit. I would confront and start procedures for divorce. My husband and I have always drawn this hard boundary: if either of us cheat, it’s over. We both came from households who had a parent be unfaithful, and we both view it as a deep betrayal that cannot be healed from, and a very selfish/weak choice that shows an absolute lack of respect for your partner. I don’t know if I would word it like this as it’s a bit too narrow of a view to be applied in real life. I think the purpose of this sub is to be a realistic and equal partner to a good man in order to achieve your desires for the future, which can take form in many ways. Using men like a parasite (like Op) until your youth is gone and you’ve been tossed aside repeatedly by men definitely has no relation to those values for me.

There is a lot less separation of race/background in Brazil compared to America and it creates a more homogenous culture, which I think is very nice. This is true for most European nations too I think! I just would really have the conversation. I…

Personally my perspective is a bit different. My husband is Brazilian, I am Jewish American. We have been together for over five years now and are expecting a daughter. His culture will be an influence in her life - arguably a strong one considering his entire family still lives in Brazil aside from him. I am not very close to my Jewish culture and have converted to his religion, am learning the language, and have my in-laws teach me to prepare the foods he grew up eating. We have visited his fa…

Confidence. Improve on what you have. Every man and woman has a different flavor, and there’s always people into that. It sounds like you would benefit from more confidence. I value control in social situations, so I tend to be friendly but I have learned as I get older to hold my tongue and wait for the right moment to say more. I used to babble a lot when I was younger, but this has helped a lot. Slower movements also tend to come with confidence. I achieved more physical grace when I got into…

Anecdotal evidence doesn’t trump scientific fact and statistics. You are more likely to have infertility issues and complications after age 35, hence why a Dr will classify these women as “high risk.” I am getting my information from reputable sources, Google why IVF rates have increased in recent years, it is recorded as a shifting in societal values. Is it possible to have a healthy pregnancy at an older age, obviously. But that doesn’t change the FACT that IVF rates have increased due to men …

You let him go. You two separated. And you are not a young bride anymore so finding those things will be hard. I wont lie, the way you sound is very pitiful/shallow here which is going to make finding another partner like this even more difficult. Find some worth within yourself. Find a goal aside from shallow things like free clothes and makeup. Men don’t like when women openly use them. All you stated that you liked about him was he spoiled you financially and was white. Move on. If you want kids, it may be difficult to achieve now if not impossible so see a fertility specialist and potentially look at plans for preserving your fertility (ie egg retrieval) to keep your options open in the future. But definitely move on and look for either a new future or a new man. I would also recommend seeking a man slightly older than you. You two broke up. He is with someone significantly younger that he clearly cares for and respects. It hurts but you need to accept that he…

It is an urgent issue if you are expecting a child, I don’t know what you mean. He should have accomplished these things before getting you pregnant if you ask me. If you are already living a comfortable life financially, then he should be a man and make plans that immediately include his wife and child coming with him. Not some vague “Ah well you can tough it out while I figure out how to get you over here.” I would have another conversation about this, but also about his apparently deeply root…

Exactly, if I wasn’t crazy about a date right away, I moved on. And when I found the man who brought me peace and security, I avoided having “the grass is greener” type thoughts and really just went all in. I married him when I was 20, but we both knew we wanted to start a family early so aside from knowing, I would say to make sure the communication is there too and the values/dreams for the future align well.
/r/RedPillWomen06/07/23 10:25 PM

Yeah, head over heels from day one. He was my only boyfriend but Id been on isolated dates before him that I had no interest in pursuing. One date in with my husband and just getting a text from him made my heart race. He started to feel like home to me very soon into the relationship, and he always made it clear how serious he was about me without making me feel suffocated. It’s been five years of marriage and it’s crazy how I seem to love him more every year. I guess when you know, you know.
/r/RedPillWomen06/07/23 09:59 PM

Once we were saying “I love you,” we were discussing marriage. I wanted it to be clear that I wasn’t interested in wasting my time no matter how young I was in a long term relationship without marriage and children being a clearly defined goal. I would have brought it up again already if I were you, but especially now a year in with that mentioned red flag for commitment issues, I would try to have it as soon as possible.

Yes I agree. Male fertility is typically on a much different timeline than female.
/r/RedPillWomen05/07/23 09:15 PM
14

Personally I would set a hard boundary and explain that female fertility declines by this age, and by 35 you’re considered “advanced maternal age” which increases your risk of complications. IVF interventions have become increasingly necessary because of this narrative that women can just wait and wait to have kids and it isn’t always true. He should be more realistic.

Then I definitely recommend pulling back a bit. You can’t force someone to do something, and if you communicate the issue that’s all you can do to influence him (which personally I would do regardless of his responsiveness, just once, before pulling back to focus on other things). Try saying something along the lines of, “I notice you’ve been more distant with me lately and it has been bothering me. Have I done something to upset you or is there something else going on that’s causing you stress?…

You’ve given your answers here. If you don’t know, don’t bluff. No one else can make these decisions for you imo. I would honestly give him what you’ve written here as a response. My husband and I discussed values and family dynamics before marriage. I prefer to take a nurturing role and want to be the primary caregiver to our children. Order him the hoodie. Being childish and desperate isn’t going to help you. Marriage is supposed to be for life. Expect highs and lows. Try pulling back a bit yourself. Don’t be cold, still be friendly and loving, but focus on a hobby and some self improvement a bit instead of smothering him with attempts to win back his affection. He’ll likely come around with a bit of time. Communication is also a more mature route. Express your needs and ask him if something is wrong that you can help with. B…

A third party matched you. Try not to be absolutely insecure, but feeling a bit humbled by a potential partner is typically a good sign. I love my husband and constantly feel like I am so lucky to have him. If you try to maintain that perspective instead of focusing on what YOU feel is lacking within yourself, I think you’ll be a lot better off. You should not submit to a person who has not earned your trust. That being said, having an adult PRIVATE discussion in a respectful manner is vastly different from nagging. And don’t ever assume you know it all. A good man will hear your perspective and discuss his perspective with you, coming to a compromise if possible. There is no set rule, red pill men especially the podcast bros have kind of skewed the message of the movement. It’s about being real about your worth and expectations at the end of the day. Nowadays, people are more sexually promiscuous, it’s unfortunate but true for most. It took a bit of growth for sure. Getting along is easy in the start, I’d say you start you chafe one another a bit around 1-2 years. It is if you make it one by taking pride in this work! I also believe playing a supportive role to your husband is deeply important, and vice versa of course. If you are traditional, I would assume you take up the role of homemaker? Therefore I think it is more our role to handle unpacking organization/floor planning as the home is more our domain. That’s not to say you can’t ask, “Hey honey, can you help me unpack this room?” and provide instruction. Personally I figure if my husband doesn’t like it, he wouldn’t have married it. I don’t stare at my body in the mirror a lot. But I am naked with my husband or partially clothed almost daily. I would just say to stop scrutinizing yourself and desensitize yourself to it by maybe cleaning in your bra and underwear or something. Even super models have flaws, and your partner clearly likes yours.

Me. I started practicing discipline in all areas of my life. Make a daily cleaning schedule. Mornings: Kitchen reset, make your bed, straighten misc out of place items from the day before Afternoons: Touch up the bathrooms and do the laundry to keep caught up Evenings: Sweep the floors, mop if needed, make and clean up after dinner I have a bigger schedule for deeper cleans. I mostly add them as needed. Like for example I need to clean windows this week, so I will set aside a day to dust blinds …

You labeled it as such because that’s what it was. A sugar relationship. If he is this uncomfortable with what you do for work and you are unwilling to give it up, and he is unwilling to change his outlook, I am unsure of why you would think marriage is a good idea. This seems like a difference in values that’s important to address seriously. Either he is criticizing you for no reason because he enjoys emotionally abusing you, or he is criticizing you for valid reasons in response to things you …

It’s a bit difficult to say without knowing your body type! I say try things on and see what makes you feel happiest. Personally, I opt for high-waisted silhouettes. I have shorter legs, wide hips, and am bottom heavy. I am not overweight by any means, but I do lift weights and am naturally more hourglass shaped. So high waisted pants are a must and I either tuck my shirt in, or am careful to avoid long/flowy tops that drown me and make me look frumpy and large. I love dresses, especially now th…

Honestly, you having two girls young enough to not remember him is more reason to leave, not more reason to stay. RPW don’t advocate for continuing a marriage where abuse is present. Your girls will become targets eventually. Record his instability from here on out and stay away. The next time he is violent will need a police report. He may escalate. Stay safe.

I don’t see any good future in getting into something like that. If a man wants my time and company, he better commit to me. I wouldn’t waste my time on someone sure enough to want to bed and date me, but not sure enough to be exclusively with me for any extended period of time. Reeks of weakness and uncertainty to me. Even if he does commit eventually, I think it’s indicative of mental weakness that will likely cause issues later on.

Unpopular opinion (and granted it’s been five years since I dated), but I loved online dating for this reason. My expectations scared off the majority and the ones that stuck around.. Easier to read the bullshitters for me after some time spent talking. Had a few wasted dates of course which is always depressing, but a much better pool than cold approach types in my experience.

You have options before you get married. Once you choose to start a family, you’ve chosen from your options and now you are committing yourself to becoming a leader and father. It absolutely has to do with discipline. “Getting women” is easy if you have half a brain and an ounce of charisma. Has nothing to do with being disciplined in life.

I also think that insecure men often cheat/self-sabotage. I think asking for occasional support from a partner with these things is to be expected, but to put that burden onto someone else consistently is a sign of a weakness that needs to be worked on personally, through therapy or other forms of self help. This goes for men and women. Attempting to feminize yourself within the relationship is good. It’s always good to look to improve yourself because that is what you can control. Just make sur…

I mean withholding is different from consenting. If I am sick (currently pregnant), I am not gonna pretend to enjoy sex and my husband wouldn’t want me to. Declining sex now and then is still not an excuse for a man to be so undisciplined. I have a very strong, provider-type, masculine husband who still treats me as his safe place/home and treats me as such, because that’s what a wife is supposed to be for a good man. And now that we are having a daughter, the way that he treats me has become ev…

Complete nonsense. If a man lacks discipline it makes them less of a man. Cheating on their partner and mother of their children shows a lack of discipline and therefore a bad example of leadership and masculinity for his family.

Ehhh I initiate through non aggressive action (like touch, kissing, other non verbal cues), but my husband and I have great communication. He knows he can say no if he’s feeling tired/not in the mood and I won’t punish him by getting angry and displaying wounded pride. He works a physically demanding job and sometimes he benefits more from a massage and that’s fine with me. I do think it’s important to show your man that you’re attracted to them, but that doesn’t always have to be through sex.

Possible, but extremely unlikely. Most men who want a traditional lifestyle also want children. I was a SAHW for less than a year, and now I am 5 months pregnant. In all honesty, I couldn’t be a SAHW alone longterm as there (and I might get backlash for this) simply isn’t enough housework with no kids and two pets to keep me occupied full time. You two need to discuss it. My husband was a contractor when we met at age 19. I worked different okay-paying jobs until last year when we decided we wanted to have our first child. We have been building a construction business together now. I live in an area where marrying young is also looked down upon. But I knew from a young age what I wanted my life to look like. I was an intelligent kid - dual enrollment, honor student, the whole thing. Still got married at age 20. I think it’s a red flag. I also think a woman having very close male friends is a red flag. And the post you found is a red flag too. yeah I recommend staying off of TRP. Statistics don’t align with their claims and it’s mostly young unmarried men saying those things. Statistically, women initiate most divorces. If you don’t withhold sex, pick a good man with strong family values, put effort into your appearance, etc. It’s not likely a good husband will leave you for a younger woman. Men aren’t all emotionless monsters who don’t care about their life partners emotions.

Hard disagree. I am married now but I never made my husband feel like he wasn’t important to me. I get where you’re coming from but as a woman I see this main issue: people are getting an overinflated sense of self worth from social media. Being confident is fine. I think it depends what you want from life. I wanted a family and a husband. If you don’t want that (which is perfectly okay), I think waiting is fine. But I won’t sugar coat it. Waiting until your 30s to find a husband and get married AND have children is hard. Relationships take a few years to get to marriage usually.
