No... because it's about vetting strategies, not mothering/wife strategies which can be found elsewhere. I don't care for it's anti men rhetoric but it's vetting strategies are designed for being in a committed LTR that leads to marriage, not for casual dating/sex. And mothering has nothing to do with it. There's plenty of RPW that don't have children. (I do, but I know many don't and don't plan on it)

FDS does promote extreme vetting though, and is vehemently against casual sex so that aligns with those goals.

Are they angry career women or divorce rapists?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/21 02:43 PM

I'm confused. They're career women who are leeches? FDS is notoriously anti-porn but they want a porn addict? That doesn't make sense. I think FDS is largely misguided but I think you're right that many are successful financially and want someone at least equally so, and the way they test for generosity and not being used themselves is by the man buying dinner, gifts etc. I have a strong feeling many have dated men who are far less ambitious than them because successful men date "down" financial…

We've tried it and failed many times. Usually goes, he screws up once I have a meltdown from feeling out of control and unable to trust and I take it back. Bad. Bad. I still agree with it in principle I just really suck at being chill about money and missed payments/oversights. I'm still working on it.

Let's not pretend men would've deterred by a female child rapist. Before I met my current husband I had the most vile messages from men asking if i walked around naked in front of my son, if he got turned on, if i slept naked with him. The most gross shit. I didn't say his age or anything but i quickly deleted that from my profile that i had a kid and divulged that after I got to know someone a bit more. Essentially, most humans are trash.

This is a huge time investment to shave her whole body every day or every few days. Who has time for that?

Uh oh. I understand why you quit your job but you're now in a vulnerable position and he feels he can say something so hurtful/offensive to you? RPW is not blind submission, so he has to be worthy. The fact that you were doing everything while working so much before is concerning. The fact that he is complaining about a natural thing that he can't afford to fix (I mean you're not going to emasculate him by telling him he is too broke to afford the hairless porn body he so desires but... He proba…

Absolutely. He's making her feel bad about peach fuzz while he's a squeamish wimp about all this stuff??? That's far more of a turn off than peach fuzz (and for reference I am attracted to women and don't care for body hair but peach fuzz isn't the same thing at all). I would definitely say that in this case you should firmly state you don't feel it's realistic or kind for him to expect this or demand it and it's very worrisome for natural body changes from having children, aging, etc. The other…

Light peach fuzz is not masculine and what OP describes sounds really normal. She's not talking about coarse dark hairs all over her body. Her husband has an abnormal adversity to ANY body hair. And if you read her comments he has squeamishness to many more things, and sounds possibly pathologic. And also not masculine at all.

I have to agree. The fact that he brought this up to you as if it's a reasonable way to feel and burdened your self esteem with this is a really bad sign. What if you have children, how will he react to the stretch marks, lactation, and general body changes from pregnancy and motherhood that are unavoidable for most women.
/r/RedPillWives06/06/21 06:19 PM

Goodness. Light haired peach fuzz is normal and I think almost every woman has it! I never even thought of shaving the light golden colored hair on my arms/wherever else. I just do my armpits, pubic area and legs (and honestly i don't have dark hair there so that's not consistent because it's so light). I wonder if my husband notices my fuzz and feels the same. I know we are all far more in tune to keeping our appearances up to snuff here and being feminine but to me this is overboard and unreal…

I also want to say "toxic masculinity" isn't what they think it is. Toxic masculinity is when men can't talk abou being raped, or express emotions for fear of being called a "fag" or "pussy". It's far more detrimental to men than women.

I'm gonna go ahead and say it's not that men won't fuck them..many men will fuck whoever. Good looking men won't treat them well, and if they do, they're the soft feminine type of men that these women don't respect anyways so all of their relationships end up as dumpster fires where they (the classic feminist looking girl) want to "try polyamory" and have a collection of simps that they're not attracted to whatsoever. The masculine men they are actually attracted to have zero desire to have anyt…

Man it's SO hard sometimes to stifle those little remarks so really, awesome job!! I realized how often I was cutting my husband down after reading ' the surrendered wife' and I was just as shocked at how initially it took so much discipline for me to STFU and the sneaky ways I would try to rationalize the controlling or demeaning comments as deserved or "helpful".

This is so reassuring and helpful It's that last sentence that makes me feel it's worth giving it a shot. I don't even go get my hair/nails done, spend money on clothes NOW because I am so depressed and fatigued.so.its not like I will miss it haha. In fact a ton of our money goes to take out. To be clear my husbands opinion isn't that I should stick it out and keep working. He says I should do what I need to do and will support that. It's MY fear that he will harbor resentment or lose respect for me. He doesn't "understand" how I get so emotionally wrapped up in my job but he is a programmer and I work with human lives so he acknowledges that obviously changes things. He takes a far.different approach to work, show up, do the assigned job and leave when done, do not go above and beyo…

Hi! I know you posted a month ago but I wanted to say I too am progressive and an atheist and I originally read TRP to MOCK it. Then I started actually digesting the evolutionary biology points. All of a sudden I realized we were making special allowances for human gender in the name of "equality" based on feels rather than science that we would never make in the rest of the animal kingdom. I quickly realized how detrimental my domineering, masculine behavior was in my relationship/marriage beca…

I am assertive with my children but what I meant was it's hard for me to stop "calling all the shots" and just step aside and let my husband lead at home. While I am educated I don't have a teaching degree so I'm not sure I can compete with my children's teachers. Fortunately, they goto a highly ranked school compatible with our values. I considered home schooling (in fact I think there's a post a few years ago in my history) but the homeschooling groups in my area are full of really stupid anti…

Thanks for your comment. You have many good points/ideas ! I have been trying to do that exactly, at my husband's advice, for about a year. It causes me insane stress because I worry I missed something, and I can't figure out how to do the bare minimum because in my head what I'm doing IS the bare minimum to provide good care. That being said I have cut the length of my notes down considerably and stopped "offering" to help my colleagues and it has helped my work load. However, I am the most exp…

Errrrrm it's called a sense of humor which obviously she and her husband share. If that's not your jam and you and your husband are more sensitive then obviously it's not for you but it's not "cunty" when they both see the humor in it and don't feel its an attack. They clearly find it a great way to communicate.

Yep. This is abusive behavior. OP if this isn't an isolated event and/or he hasn't apologized for this unreasonable behavior I would really consider if this relationship is healthy for you and if he would consider anger management therapy, etc.

Wow. I thought this was like, common knowledge to be a rude question and red flag for women to ask! One of my most shameful moments dating was I had a long day at work got home late and had like 25 mins to get ready for my date and to it. I was 5 mins late so bad start but then I drank my martini on an empty stomach too quickly and instantly got tipsy. The guy was in residency for anesthesiology. Frankly, only do this is you want to. Wear what you like and what makes you feel most feminine and beautiful. My husband finds my love of cute things adorable. I'm 38. I wear scrubs to work fortunately. But when I didn't... I wore cute girly things like a flouncy A line dress with a print and a cardigan with tights and cute flats. Similar to Jess from New Girl. I still wear character shirts at home.

Let me clarify a bit more, in summary, There are 5 general love languages: -receiving gifts -acts of service -quality time -physical touch -words of affirmation People tend to give love how they prefer to receive love. They do for their partner what would make them feel loved/appreciated. The disconnect is when your partner has a different love language then you. So in your case you appear to be showing love through acts of service and your wife doesn't seem to react to that. There is a quiz in …

I agree with this as well. Alarm bells went off while reading the post and then reading that he has a history of porn addiction kind of cemented my suspicions. Either way, he's lying about his porn addiction or just REALLY selfish.

I mean, your feelings are justified. This isn't normal behavior. It's completely unreasonable for him to expect you to tolerate this. I would maybe start really saying how completely abnormal this behavior is so he can't disregard it as "lol sorry just needed time alone and lost track of time reading on my phone."

The deeper issue is he KNOWS this is a problem but still continues to do something INCREDIBLY selfish. Holy shit. You get no breaks. I work full time as does my husband but he actually stayed home for the first year with our youngest. I can't even IMAGINE doing this to him after he was home all day with ONE young child (our oldest was already in kindergarten when the second was born) let alone 3. I don't think I would say anything at all. If a guy asked me " so what are you looking for?" I'd probably say "Hmm. I'll know it when I see it. ;)" Kind of jokey, non committal but NOT clearly saying I'm playing the field.

So, the point isnt to be like "HEhehehehehe I'm playing the field" and come across flighty and promiscuous. The point is to not be overly aggressively showing your feels and interest. That your commitment has to be won and you will not be just automatically all in unless you have been been won (ie he has revealed himself to be as trustworthy, high value and responsible as he can during the early dating process). No, it's not possible unfortunately. We would have to sell our house and our lifestyle would definitely be significantly different, and though I'm okay with that he isn't too enthused which I understand as well. I don't think he relishes the idea of me being a homemaker or SAHM. I've expressed sometimes that I sometimes regret having my career and income because of the pressure to maintain our lifestyle (and because it clearly effects our dynamic but I don't say that to him). I asked him if he was okay with it and he said it was fine. He often will not give an opinion. So i have no idea if it bothers him. They talk and get along. I actually get more irritated with my mother. He does get a break, yes. He takes a nap at lunch and lays down after work and then we share getting the kids to bed pretty equally (just works out that way our youngest rotates who he wants to read to him to keep it fair lol). Yes. So I did follow the surrendered wifen and handed everything financial over to him. We went into massive debt, our lawyer that he had retained to help with IRS debt that he didn't pay dumped us because my husband wasn't returning any of the emails/calls. I definitely do! I thank him all the time for what he does and I tell him he looks good a lot as well. He has said "he can't do anything to please me" and I said " I tell you all the time that I appreciate the things you do." Then he said he doesn't "need that". I don't want to run the whole show. Actually, I never thought of that but that's a really good take. I'm sure it DOES make him feel that way. I'm not sure how to fix it. When we first met he seemed very impressed by my income and would brag about it to his friends, but also if we ever had an argument he would say "well you don't need me anyways" Which I would say "I DO need you and I want you which is even BETTER." Thanks for your input I have been seriously considering cutting back to part time with my job. My husband's reaction to this is lukewarm at best. He has said "no one likes working it's just what you do because you have to". I like what I do but it has been horrendously stressful with covid (medical field). I relate to every word of this. It really sucks but unfortunately your post an others replies just confirm my own experience of out earning my husband. I wish it was not like this. Sure. As do the rules in any religious texts. If the advice is good it's good. It's just I don't find the part about religion helpful in anyway if it's used as a reasoning behind something. So if the book says women should obey their husbands because God commands it that reason is entirely irrelevant to me.
/r/RedPillWives05/05/20 06:47 PM

I don't deny it purely on if it mentions religion. I just don't find it relatable when the reasoning behind a piece of advice is based on "because God said to" or religious based duty. The advice has to be based more on facts rather than faith for me.

Like I said, not me personally. But honestly prostitution is a pretty good example of how woman can use sex for power/control. There's a lot of women who use sex to control people, and that, although unethical... is empowering Going out on your own and satisfying your own needs is also empowering.

I don't enjoy casual sex personally, but I think it's, "I have a need, I can satisfy it with whomever whenever. And men will do a LOT of things to fuck me." That's certainly empowering.

Dude's in their 30s are no longer in their sexual prime, right. Unfortunately men in their early-mid 20s aren't very desirable to most women because they are unestablished, still building their careers and frankly usually terrible lovers until they are more experienced.

Oh you're right. Clinically diagnosed low testosterone or depression even as long as girl is 10/10 man wamts to bang. Men are totally incapable of having clinical illness affect their sex drive as long as woman=hot. I don't specialize in urology or endocrinology but I know that's not how it works.

You know, I'm not sure where you guys get your science from. No. Absolutely not. And sex drive doesn't have to be purely hormonal. In my case I just really enjoy the whole act, the intimacy and yeah the oxytocin rush so I can't wait to do it and can't seem to get enough. I feel turned on a lot of the day... and sex minded but I don't have any symptoms of high circulating testosterone like high muscle mass, deep voice, mannish features or facial hair/body hair.

That's a pretty loose interpretation of compensation. I guess all women are whores because they seek successful men right? I ask if you are a troll because you seem to have no understanding of testosterones effect on libido. Do you know what low testosterone is? Do you know about basic biochemistry? If a males libido is low from low testosterone he can actually feel repulsed by sex at worse and disinterested at best and the femalea attractiveness has no effect on the outcome. I reccomend you check out deadbedrooms to see how NOT rare it is, honestly. Even among my friends I'd say 30% have the higher drive and it negatively effects their relationships. /r/PurplePillDebate04/11/16 07:44 PM

From a RP perspective I agree and from a pure psychological point the woman feels less feminine being unable to maintain sexual interest from her mate.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/16 07:43 PM
2

Well, in general libido mismatch is an issue, and when it's the woman with the higher drive and facing being turned down it often means the woman feels unsexy (less feminine) and damages her self esteem and the man feels like he can't meet the females sexual needs damaging his self image (masculinity).
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/16 07:41 PM
1

Yeah. This is something that isn't often talked about is it can actually make the guy feel pressured to perform and like he is incapable of meeting his partners needs.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/16 07:37 PM

Also to be nore specific I assume you mean dressing sexy, flirting, dropping subtle hints. I guess assume this is already the case and ineffective.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/16 07:36 PM

I know that. Obviously cheating, complaining are not feminine. What's the feminine approach? Wear lingerie? Drop hints? How does she handle/approach sexual rejection by her mate?

No real specifics. Just a general question of a woman with a higher sex drive than her partners. Lets say in every LTR from age 18-34 she has the higher drive (desiring it daily).

Could you elaborate on the feminine approach? You mean waiting for him to initiate? Not saying anything when he doesn't? What would be a feminine approach to being the primary initiator of sex? How would she handle being turned down frequently? How does she avoid feeling more masculine than her mate when he desires sex less?

I understand. I am 33 and my desire for my kink (similar to yours) and my partners lack of interest or participation has been something I struggle with. It's difficult. For example if we come right out with it we come across as very sex minded amd draw men who perceive us to be only usedul for sex. But if we don't mention it... it can be quite a bomb to drop later or become an issue. I haven't found a solution yet. Sex is a big deal to some people even later in life. It was my impression first wave feminism was a longer timeline that included obtaining property ownership rights in the (mid?)19th century (which was gradual with different stipulations) as well as the ability to attend co-ed schools that moved into the 20th century with voter rights.

Right. And status doesn't=sexual attraction from men. Even the rubenesque women look like their BMI's were leas than 30. None of the super obese women that claim beauty comes in all sizes.

There are body trends. But I don't believe unhealthily obese was ever attractive to men. Being plump was a sign of status maybe at one point, but I'll never believe being obese was ever a male ideal. That being said big bubble butts are definitely a thing right now and before in the 80's, 90's we all wantes to shrink our butts. We have enough knowledge about fitness and diet to sculpt our bodies pretty fantastically now into what is likely the ideal fertility trigger for men, (emphasizing waist-…

I'm not sure how much time you've spent on rpw but you can sure see plenty of opinions in the comments. But you have to remember it's a RP subject oriented thread. If travel is important to you then express that now to your SO and if it's important to him too you can budget your future accordingly. I personally love travelling for the sights/food/new experiences but only ever really envision it with my SO. I have gone on girls trips but there's always drama and I wouldn't say you missed out on much other than over drinking and sluttiness. So... no... you're not missing out.

/r/RedPillWomen25/01/16 10:23 PM

There is a discernable positive difference in his mood when we do these things. This post isn't about if he enjoys leaving the house. He has explicitly stated he does WANT to go out and has no problem telling me when he doesn't enjoy something. It's about if I should be doing the planning or not. It's actually the same with dinner in, whether we watch tv at home/play a game, just read in bed. He doesn't like to choose/plan things and always prefers for me to make the decision.

Getting out of the house isn't really bullshit, especially since I'm picking things he likes to do.... not based on my own personal preferences. It's something he enjoys but he "sucks at planning/coming up with ideas." He doesn't want me to "leave him alone."

That you read or heard that kegels cause women to have much more intense orgasms and you want her to do them x amount per day to see how much harder she can cum. You moved in with someone who is actively disgusted by you? This is bad. You don't need to beat yourself up about it but you do need to learn from it and strive to do better.
