An emotionally healthy friendly woman will keep that annoyance inside if she's bothered, if you come up with a smile and not saying some aggressive dumb pickup line they'll be flattered and give you a chance to talk. If she doesn't like you then she'll pullout whatever she was working on and put her headphones back in to get rid of the person. Normal people won't snap at you to go away if you bother them while they have headphones in

There's this concept called kleptonesia where prolific writers who read a lot internalize other people's ideas. This leads to you thinking you came up with something when really it just came from somewhere else and you forgot the author. I do it pretty often and most people do. Its fine as long as you try to credit really specific stuff or direct quotes.

Great advice actually, thank you. Next time I hit her up I'll do it the night of for sure, like 8pm or whatever then it's easy to say already ate and it's clear it's a booty call.

Is it odd to think that when guys smile at me my first innate or subconscious reaction is that they're gay? I mean I smile at every female at work cute or not just as a standard reaction I'm used to, but always do the head nod down for guys. Then when I get a smile back instead I know they're just trying to be nice but it also throws me off for a minute since it's definitely the uncommon thing to do compared to nodding to strangers.

Personally what worked for me and may help others is this: get your foot in the door and start cold approaching after you've had a few drinks, this should be 0 issue as alcohol decreases social anxiety and if you can't even do it drunk you need to look at other aspects of your life before considering seduction. Then with each next night you go out, every next attempt, have less and less until you can do it sober. You'll be building experience each time, and your fear threshold will go away with …

That's a good important note to pretty much leave as soon as convenient, I have some nice park areas to walk around nearby so that becomes much better atmosphere being alone as well.

Thanks for backing me up on that, I knew I wasn't just imagining things with night being easier.

Go for a different girl. Seems pretty obvious. Girl 1 will notice and become more attracted to you too. Go from there.

Can we get a bullet summary written out of this? Easier to reference when I save this to view again later.

The feels man.. I didn't need that dose of reality. A fuck buddy does still fill that emptiness though, there's something comforting about the thought of knowing you have a security blanket of pussy on demand available. The emotional can be gotten from other friends really, I share feelings with close guy friends I don't think it's that uncommon.

Yea I don't say sometime I specify tomorrow, but If she's unavailable tomorrow I do ask which day they're free though. Run into that issue with women that work nights. Then I'd specify the place and time.

Start? It's by far the easiest and most common/successful first date. Coffee doesn't have the same connotation to it that you might be hooking up right after since it's not really a night thing.

I've had it happen with 3 girls now where I did OP's steps and the girl agrees for a drink, then when I try to continue it and plan a time and get her number she stops replying.. this is odd I'm just going to wait a day then follow up, but not even sure how to followup at this point. edit: nevermind, got the # on 2 now. I think the delay just caught me off guard since we were replying at a good clip of less than 10 minutes per message now this one took an hour.

Within the first few messages online? I've always been go for the number immediately then through text set a date, just seemed like a more natural progression. It doesn't throw them off trying to go from online to meet right away? Just curious of your experience in case it's worth modifying my process

Huh, I just used this modified version of OPs post and it worked on the 1st girl I messaged. Even seemed like someone that would be totally opposed considering her profile had "I'm not going to have sex with you" on it. Only difference was my opener was just "name"!

Tip is to meet for just drinks not a date.. Much cheaper no dinner involved.

Uh yea you can. It's pretty straightforward. If she's watching a movie and it's been at least 30 minutes just go for it. Don't fall into the trap of overthinking and over-analyzing things, you don't need a step-by-step strategy guide for how to kiss a girl. If you want something to say just be like "hey come here" to have her bring her head up to yours then kiss her.

Just text her.. Basic stuff since you haven't even done much yet don't seem clingy. Definitely don't add on Facebook. Hopefully you sent a standard follow-up message like you had a nice time and want to see her again. Then whenever you're back in town ask her out again. Seems pretty clear.. You don't need to text every day to keep in touch.

You need to establish that you're a regular and come for the yoga not for the babes. So first off wait and make sure the girl you're approaching has seen you there before a few times. Then from there it's easy just start chatting casually but don't ask for her number. Then the next time you see her chat her up again and go for it. You seem like a friendly dude that enjoys yoga that way, and not some thirsty douche coming into the yoga studio to pick up chicks. They are hyper aware of that in thi…
