How about a husband that makes a woman pay for her upkeep with sex when she is not working because of children or any other reason?

are you aware that people put in that situation don’t have a choice? ‘most’ people … have you carried out a survey? also most is not all

So are you going to do an analyses of every show that was ever made if the script is not statistically correct?

Maybe it was more about being able to have the choice and opportunity to do so if one wishes. Imagine not be allowed to do something because of something out of your control like the genitals you were born with.

Is it working for you? It could be ‘right’ for some and ‘wrong’ for others. My beliefs are different so it is ‘wrong’ for me I should not be in this group. I will leave.

No. You are not mad. You are locked in a ridiculous mindset and trapped in a marriage that lacks honesty and respect.

Well I think if he wanted to book he would have. How would your vibe be if you have to book it yourself? And worse, if he decides not to go?

We met on a regular dating app for civilians looking for normal relationships. I have never received 1 cent from this man but I also don’t go 50/50 either. I bought him beer once and brought a herb planter gift to his house as I believe it is good manners and he loves cooking. I’m not with him to make money but I do want a man who has provider quality and mindset. My post has nothing to do with money btw anf it is about what is going on - or not going on - for us phisically.

I’m not a sugar baby and he is not a sugar daddy. I’m 46 and he is 53. I did have a one off sugar situation with someone before I met the guy I’m talking about, mainly to act out fantasies for both parties and it is over. I have been married and divorced 2x and had some serious and consistent relationships outside marriage too.

Yep - I did not want to lead on that but it is 100% better than be in confusion,

I get the point. I am not talking about having sex - I like going slow too. But at date 5, would be normal to expect little touches, kisses, holding hands? Especially since we kissed at the end of date 3? I sensed some frustration from him yesterday unless I read it completely wrong...but maybe it was frustration with himself rather than with me? I don't know...I always had the opposite problem, trying to slow men down. I know I'm attractive and men and women says that I am sexy even though I do…

Cook anytime you want and because it gives you pleasure but… Don’t you think it is too soon for him to be talking marriage when he is not even divorced yet? And to your points: 1- nothing to do with you, just a father being a father 2- take anything he says about his ex with a pinch of salt - you don’t know each other properly yet - two weeks only 3- paying for a car ride and being patient with physical intimacy is basic behaviour not something that should be seeing extraordinary

I already found the best resource to answer my question but thanks for chimming in ~ you assumed a lot just from one post ~ of course I enjoy his company and feel good in his presence. I’m not a gold digger and dating for money only but I want to be provided for and if he is not happy to provide he is not the one for me, it doesn’t matter how well we get along in other areas. Deleted the thread to not receive any more judgemental replies like this and this sub is probably the wrong one for me ~ …

Have any of you ever meet a man who displays these traits?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
