i really appreciate this answer. i joined this sub with a certain level of confidence, hope, and awareness, yet i feel that it’s opened my eyes to negativity to the point of depression. i understand how understanding patterns, power dynamics, themes, etc. let you filter better, faster, and stronger...but my thinking is, how much does this serve a bright and positive outlook for the future? if we are lead to believe that the only options are garbage, the why should we believe in the possibility o…

how is that possible? human beings have variables in skin, hair, personality, health, intelligence...i could go on. yet how is possible that all men have formed the combination of low value-ness? i’m not saying that there aren’t a lot of LVM. i just don’t understand how believing that ALL men are unilaterally low value helps us in creating a fulfilling healthy relationship with an HVM one day

I don’t disagree with this, but one of the worst covert narcs I ever met was a guy that embodied most of these. Wasn’t a bodybuilder, trained for performance improvements over physical, excellent at his craft, taught me a lot, was cute and built but not “over the top,” strong work ethic, everyone in the gym loved him, but holy hell did he treat me like shit in private. The way he manipulated, lied, cheated, and generally made me feel like shit was awful and I would never wish that upon anyone. I…

What I struggle reconciling is understanding this power. I’ve encountered far too many situations where I’ve developed feelings for someone, only for them to be unrequited or I just end up the second choice and he dates someone else. I struggle to obtain men im attracted to, so when I hear “you can get what you want,” I literally can’t conceptualize how I can do that. My experience shows me that I’m unable to reach a mutual interest with these men (both HVM and LVM) and how can one logically bui…

It was so hard to think of him as a narcissist because he was a nice guy and did nice things in general. People applauded him for “having a big heart” and”being so kind and amazing.” I felt genuinely crazy for thinking he was a gas person and that instead i just wasn’t good enough. But when it came to dealing with me I always felt like shit, sometimes for reasons I couldn’t explain. Something as minor as a negative body language cue to him completely ignoring me at a party...anyways. He definite…

I’m with you...I just have a hard time figuring out how a woman can land “who she wants” if by definition she has to be passive and wait for them to make decisions
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/02/20 08:44 AM
22

Yes because it’s a sex market for women and a relationship market for men. Both are trying to meet in the middle. I agree about filtering
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/02/20 08:43 AM
8

I’m with you. I think there is someone to the fact that it’s literally the mans decision at every turn. Assuming you have an attractive prospect whose acting properly, a woman can hope he will pursue, commit, etc. but that is not within her control.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/02/20 08:42 AM
11

I think the comment has to do with women’s ease with getting sex but not necessarily commitment. A woman could walk out tomorrow and get sex within an hour but it would take a man much more work. I think the opposite can be said for commitment...you can’t force a man you love to propose. I wasn’t aware men said this. From my experience men are in the drivers seat to make the first move. So if a guy you’re into doesn’t like you back you’re SOL and the connection dies on the spot.

That's why the self improvement shouldn't be something you did for the sake of passing time I don't feel like I'm doing it for the sake of passing time...I quite literally don't know what else to do or what goals to achieve. My focus is on fitness and beauty so most of my free time is dedicated to exercising and doing various self care, appts, etc. It's what I value. This is incredibly helpful advice. Thank you so much....you saved me from what could have been slow descent into a dark place. But in what capacity though? I’m not sure if “they always come back” is said as a brag or motivation or what. In my case, they always come back but only because I’ve said yes to them before. And it’s usually when they are lonely, bored, etc. Men are like depression era children in that they don’t let go of the leftovers (past flings) and they boomerang back when it suits them. This usually is more destructive to me than if they just stayed away....

I’m not seeing love bombing really...just going out on dates, spending quality time, etc. Taking actions and time that communicates that he values her. Cutting off other girls, etc. nothing extreme.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/01/20 12:51 AM
5

But that’s exactly it. I can see my pick be mistakes...but intuitively I feel that he actually is treating this other girl like an HVM and that I brought out the LVM treatment. Idk how not to blame myself so much
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/01/20 11:03 PM
14

At this point, it seems like my old headache is her new heartbeat. I cringe so hard at the night and day difference and blame myself for not being good enough. It’s hard to break out of that loop that I will find a way to ruin it with a guy because he clearly is capable of showing up...when she’s young enough, hot enough, smart enough, etc

yeah you're right. and I think I struggle with articulating myself. People who watch a lot of TV and play with their phones are "bored". This is because they fail to participate in productive activities. I am never bored because there is too much to do. There is always something that needs to be done around the house and there is always something I can do that is active and healthy. Too many places to go, too many people to see, and way too many things to learn and experience. Get a boyfriend who stimulates your brain instead of making your eyes roll. This is ex…

This is good advice. Thank you
/r/RedPillWomen10/07/17 06:05 AM

/r/RedPillWomen10/07/17 06:05 AM
3

This is good advice. I can't expect him to read my mind. Thank you!
/r/RedPillWomen10/07/17 06:04 AM

You're right. By themselves, the scrolling or TV watching aren't a big deal, it's more that they are a symptom of a larger theme, which is complacency and stagnation. As far as cooking and cleaning, I do enjoy these activities. It's more the mindset/demeanor of being submissive that I have trouble with when dating a beta. It's almost as if the polarities come into play and someone has to be the leader, which usually ends up being me.
/r/RedPillWomen10/07/17 06:03 AM

You nailed it with smart guys watching minuscule reactions and backing away. I think I have a sense of awkwardness about me that tends to turn guys away :(

You're right that perhaps it's my looks that guys are still evaluating or unsure of. But I wouldn't say it's because I'm overweight or heavy at all. By all standards and measurements I'm very fit and athletic with an hourglass shape.
/r/RedPillWomen12/06/17 10:11 PM

It's only my assumption since he is on tinder and constantly talking to girls in the gym. But I really don't know for sure his personal life outside of it. Are you suggesting to its probably best to pass on this one?

Good point. Does it matter that he seems like a "hot commodity" at all? He seems like a very sociable person that gets a lot of attention and interest from women
/r/RedPillWomen09/06/17 06:32 AM

You could say I'm somewhat competitive, but I also develop really strong attractions and don't know what to do with myself. Often I find that I "chase" the non-starter, dead-in-the-water relationship like I'm in high-speed chase. And this means scheming and obsessing and thinking up strange ways to maintain contact, to orchestrate some kind of chance meeting so I could “make him like me." So yes, there's definitely a trend where I am 'going' for guys. Maybe I do all of this because their feeling…

In the coworker or gym case, are there other methods for better expressing my interest in a passive way in case he is interested? Or do the general rules still apply..that if he's not pursuing he's not interested?
/r/RedPillWomen09/06/17 02:54 AM

What are your recommendations for being flirty if I am his coworker or customer?
/r/RedPillWomen09/06/17 02:53 AM

Does it matter what these reasons are that a guy isn't interested/making a move? I find constructive criticism very helpful and often read on TRP the specific reasons a guy doesn't approach (her boobs were kind of saggy...she came off too masculine and abrasive). They seem oddly specific, and if perhaps there's a way to get feedback rather instead of wondering if I'm doing something wrong, or at least can narrow down a reason. It would give me confidence in my next interaction with a man. Otherw…
/r/RedPillWomen09/06/17 02:43 AM

I really like the line of thinking in this saying.
/r/RedPillWomen09/06/17 02:37 AM
1

You're right. and I didn't intend to come off that a guy was "below" me...simply that I zeroed in on him because there was some aspect about him that seemed like he wouldn't reject me and that I had a chance. If that makes sense.
/r/RedPillWomen06/06/17 10:35 PM

I think so? I find that I'm either totally cold/distant or awkward/forced flirtatious that it's usually better that I don't try. Although if they lead with some sort of flirtation it's easier for me to follow suit. It's just hard for me to relax
/r/RedPillWomen06/06/17 10:26 PM

This makes a lot of sense. Essentially "lay the tracks" to being approachable, see what arrives, and work with that. Thank you for your advice.

With most of these guys there's usually something I like about them, some more than others. Currently theres 1 particular guy that has really caught my eye (he seems in my league but his personality may make him slightly higher), but he has yet to seriously escalate. With the Hunter, I wouldn't say that I'm necessarily chasing him, it's more that he will text me, I will respond in a timely manner, and he won't reply. He throws me these "kernels" lets call them, and I take it and run with it, onl…

And this is afraid how I come off. I'm pretty stone-cold and withholding at first (without trying to be) because I'm nervous/shy. Almost every friend I've had has said they thought I didn't like them at first. I think this has stopped a lot of men from approaching although maybe it's just my appearance, not sure.

I see what you're saying here. But I'm a little confused about how I can appear approachable/interesting/etc. or in other words "lay the track" for guys to take the initiative to pursue me. I seem to get caught in the infinite loop as an "orbiter" wondering if I'm doing the right thing, saying the right thing, and sit around waiting patiently for him to take initiative. And it usually doesn't happen, at least not in the way I expect. (for example...there's a friendly guy at my gym that keeps say…

I wouldn't say shy as much as being hesitant and "watered down" around people I find attractive initially. It takes me a LONG time to open up. Once I've reached this point I'm comfortable showcasing who I am. What do you mean by saying "stupid shit"? do you mean you showed who you really were instead of being shy? Do you find that this odd behavior turns guys off? (assuming it's congruent to who you are and not just for show) When you say men will scope out there options before going on the hunt…

That's a good point that it's probably useless to eliminate guys based on my pre-conceived assumptions (which are probably wrong anyways). It's really a self-protection mechanism...deep down I'm so terrified of rejection and really falling for the guy that I'd rather play it safe than truly put myself out there. If I may ask, how did you meet your current LTR and how did it progress for you?

Thank you for your suggestions. For your #1- I wouldn't say I'm being picky as much as I'm looking for guys who I subconsciously think I have a chance with wont be rejected by. The last guy I came to the conclusion to peruse because I noticed all of his exs were slightly overweight so I figured I had a better chance with him. For #2- your right that I'm not very approachable looking, tend to be slightly awkward sometimes and generally seem like I'm lost in my own world. Perhaps it has something …

Yes. It wasn't exactly as written on the blog but nearly the same. Which is what lead me to believe he was RP

Looks I'd say 6-7/10 but personality/confidence brings him up to a 8/10. He's 5'9, cute, and fit. He wouldn't stand out in a crowd but he carries himself very confidently (has a strong walk/presence). I'd say he's shadily good looking but could easily be overlooked if you’re not paying attention. Basically the type of person if you get to know/stare at longer you start thinking "hmm, you're hotter than I thought you were." This is the close, slightly better looking doppelgänger https://goo.gl/im…

You're right, looking at it logically it's not the smartest long term strategy. It's hard because while I try to deny it, I AM drawn in by witty banter and harmless negging especially when it comes from a place of solid confidence. It shows me that the guy can function on his own and worries about losing me. On top of that, I'm not used to having men (especially these types of men) approach me or show interest, so I haven't developed strong boundaries or a solid baseline which to work off from.

I see. So in practical terms this could look like subtle laughter and a smile or a witty but friendly spar? Point being that you aren't thrown off course by the comment

Awesome tips, thanks!

Yeah that makes total sense! And definitely the "sweet spot" between feminine and funny. Usually its not too too hard for me, but when I'm around someone I really like it's hard not to freeze up and be so black and white (either crickets or insults). Can you explain a little more what amused mastery is?
/r/RedPillWomen03/05/17 01:20 AM

Amazing responses! I'll have to keep these in mind next time I'm faced with a neg. I do get really nervous and freeze up around him so it's good to have a general idea of what to say. Thank you!
/r/RedPillWomen03/05/17 01:17 AM

In that case I mean 7-7.5/10
/r/RedPillWomen03/05/17 01:14 AM

This is good insight. Happy to know my responses are reasonable! I'm definitely attracted and drawn to this guy due to his alpha qualities, but it sounds like I'm not vetting hard enough since he may be a player/only looking for a hookup/not interested?

Yes!

Interesting that it can work in reverse though (a strong man can lead an unfeminine woman) as one user pointed out. This helps a lot to know this. Thank you

I must have a hard time articulating this. From past experience, it also seems like most of these conversations end up at conclusion of "well this is just how I am" (him).

Yes you're right. Perfection is far from reality and I would assume also very boring if you were to ever come across it. I appreciate learning and growing with someone (imperfections and all) and I think that this can be fostered by having a curious mind and the adventurous spirit of doing and seeking rich and meaningful experiences. It makes sense that every RPW should vet for someone that they can see themselves with long term, and for me that's someone that is as excited to learn and grow wit…

So if someone needs less activity to get the same sensation as you do from life, that's not okay? Not at all. In fact that's exactly what it is...just "ok." For example, instead of watching TV, something that's more growth oriented like reading a book can bring infinitely more conversation topics and intellectual discussions to the relationship and be far more beneficial yet equally as relaxing. That's not to say it's not ok to watch tv every in awhile, but perhaps swapping in some of that TV ti…

It's very attractive to me for someone to want more from life than just watching TV or being on their phone the majority of time I am around them. I am someone that constantly seeks self improvement and growth and wants the same in a partner for the fire to stay alive. You're right that scrolling or Tv watching aren't necessarily bad. I feel like it may come down to different personality characteristics we are each attracted to/mesh best with.
