as many have you have also experienced in this quarantine, i’ve received a barrage of messages from men i used to date, men coming out of the woodwork, and more messages from men i’ve been recently talking to but seemed lukewarm about me.

i’m wondering how to tell in these times if a man is truly interested? of course i am ignoring the men from my past, but what about the recent men that just seemed meh about me, but now seem very interested? they never did anything wrong, perse, just sort of skated by in my scrotation and never made it to my top pick.

should i be cautious that this isn’t a sign of interest, but a way to pass the time? i’m enjoying chatting with them but don’t want to get my hopes up once this is over.
