Sometimes bro, its not about you or what you did. I think you should try to frame the situation differently...its just not a good fit. like you probably deserve someone who wouldn't make you feel this way, right?

This. I lost it to my ex-girlfriend last year when I was 20 and she knew I was a virgin. I was upfront about it in the beginning but I definitely didn't give a fuck that I was (it's honestly not that big of a deal). It actually turned her on even more. I think talking about it later on in the relationship, she said "she wanted to bone me sooooo bad" when she found out I was a virgin.

By asking her out and escalating?

What happens if you begin to develop feelings for a girl whom you didn't have feelings for when you first met?

Just pay attention and get closer (physically) to her over the duration of the date.

who are close enough to friends Right, not necessarily friend zoned since I don't really talk to them, but would like to reconnect. You are worried you'll be ostracized Yeah I think this is spot on. So I just go how I would normally? Just run baseline kino and close the distance?

Simply waiting will not get you out of the friend zone. That is some seriously advanced stuff there I assume that this is generally not worth it?

That's not what I meant either :P I kinda meant like if she was being wishy-washy with you even though you guys are dating, would it be appropriate to be like "look I like you but if you keep doing this blahblahblah"

Telling who I like her? That was just an example lol.

Thanks. One more question. If you realize that your feelings are unreasonable before you talk about them. Then should you still share it in that situation?

what do you mean about a "freeze out"? i personally think if they flake out there is 2 situations they are in, either they are not interested, or they are scared, that is when to use your voice and ask. Like a no contact sort of thing for a period of time.

n most cases, you should be genuine with how you feel and express it appropriately with words over actions. How does one express this in a non needy way?

Ahh that makes sense...but what about the girls that flirt with me who have boyfriends?

How do you convey more of that underlying hint? I'm very good at being playful..teasing..etc whatever. Girls are very receptive, but at some point it feels like they're like that with everyone (friendly vs flirty) and I begin to question whether or not I can distinguish attraction.

Dude I have problems keeping it up sometimes. My boners don't usually last past like 15-20 minutes of making out, what do you do?

I like to say to the guys: Hey, are any of you guys dating her? Because I'm going to hit on her. If one of them answers yes, I'll wish them well. If they all say no, I'll respond with, okay cool, and proceed to introduce myself to the girl and isolate her. Works for me (shrug).

Also, completely eliminating the grey area may not just have repercussions on me. I'm really trying to find a way that won't make things weird since she's found a place in our group. My friends are now become friends of hers and friends of her friends and asking her out only to be rejected could make things awkward for everyone else in the group. Well, personally, I think it's only awkward if you make it awkward--at some point, you are going to have to make a move that will risk being rejected. …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
